Kerry CM:

To request 4th floor would I contact the concierge planners or the hotel itself?

:flower: :flower:

I just let my planner know I needed a 4th floor room. The cast at the Innkeeper's Club won't get your reservation into their computers until 5-7 days before you arrive.

I was wondering if all concierge deluxe rooms have a balcony that can fit 2 chairs on it? I would love to get a deluxe room to surprise my wife, but I can't justify the cost if I get one of those "standing" balconies. When I see pictures of the rooms above the Boardwalk Bakery, the thrid floor balconies appear to be much bigger than the 4th floor. If we get this view, I really want to take full advantage of it.

The balconies of both the 3rd and 4th floor deluxe rooms are the same size. They are the 3 rooms you see right over the bakery. We had 2 chairs on our balcony and enjoyed many evenings sitting on the balcony people watching. We also enjoyed watching the fireworks from Illuminations fron the lounge balconies.

We just returned from a stay in a deluxe room. Our room was over the Sweets Shop. Our balcony had 1 chair and a small table. Not much room out there. We were on the 4th floor. I have to agree that the staff was absolutely wonderful there. They actually really want to get to know you and are a great group of people. I will definately stay her again.

I just found this and I am so happy! We are going for the 1st time to BW and are staying in the villas. We have a preferred view facing the Baordwalk. Can you upgrade anything at the villas?

Thanks for the reoprt. I'm still trying to figure this out. Did they forget the other chair or was it that another chair could not possibly fit? Please forgive my strange questons. I just want to be sure of things before I book.

I found this picture. If I posted it right, it shows Sea Shore Sweets. I'm guessing the third floor is right above the shop and the fourth floor is on top.

The deluxe rooms are not above Seashore Sweets. They are above the BW Bakery.

We're also staying at Boardwalk for Christmas and I'm wondering if the rooms that can see the Epcot Fireworks are on the Boardwalk side or not. It seems they should be but somewhere I read that they were garden view rooms. Can anyone clarify this for me? And also, just how noisy will this be on Christmas Eve? I need my DD to go to sleep so I can put out the Santa presents.

The fireworks view rooms are garden view room, not BW view. I did not find the BW view rooms noisy at all once the doors were closed.

I have a question regarding BWI concierge rooms.....when I booked on-line I did not get an option in regards to "view." Only two options: BWI-Concierge or BWI- Concierge Deluxe. I looked everywhere and never found a different rate for BWI Concierge--standard view vs. water view like non-concierge rooms at BWI. On this board I have read about people having a "garden" view in the concierge rooms which gives them views of Epcot. Can anyone give me the 411?? Thanks!!!
(Last year we stayed Concierge Deluxe and all of those rooms face the Boardwalk!!) ;)

OK. Here is a pic of the BWI Bakery . So, I'm guessing that all six of the rooms above the bakery are deluxe rooms. The third floor is directly above the bakery and the fourth floor is on top. The 4th floor balcony just seems a little smaller than the third. I would want to be on the fourth floor because the lounge is right there, but I want to be able to fit 2 people on the balcony. So, just for my planning purposes, can 2 people SIT on the 4th floor?

Thanks to everyone trying to answer my questions. :smooth:

I am planning the same thing - would like fourth floor because of the lounge, but we both like to sit out on the balcony. I sent an email to IPO and they replied that the balconies on both floors are the same size. (They do look smaller in the picture, don't they?) I hope they are correct.

Thanks paladin! Please let us know when you get back. I don't mind if it is a bit cramped, but I would like to sit out there with my wife.

The Edge - There are rooms above Seashore Sweets that are Deluxe rooms. I just stayed in one of the rooms in the picture you posted. Our room was on the top floor (4th in that area) in the middle. It was a great view. Our balcony only had one chair and a small table, but the room next to ours had two chairs on it. You can fit two, but it would be a little tight. If you have any other questions, let me know

We're going to the BW in less than 1 week! Wa HOOO!!!! And today was aweful...all the more to look foward to our trip! :flower:

I'm going blind trying to read all of this :3dglasses ...but I was wondering about the Villas. Any suggestions on rooms, locations, anything??? I have a studio. And, this sounds silly, but are the villas the same layout as the rest of the resort? Or are they seperate little "villas"? I don't know what to expect and I can't find the info...Can anybody help?

We have stayed in rooms above the bakery and Seashore Sweets as well. I agree about the balcony and as a side note the rooms above the bakery get a little more sun on the balcony in the evening.

Thanks for all the extra info on the deluxe rooms, everyone. :sunny: I always thought that deluxe referred to the view. That little bit of extra space looks nice and comfortable.
