The Bachelor 17 Sean Lowe NO SPOILERS

I know, right??? Please just leave her alone and stop asking if she's ok you goof!

And I'm just going to say it...I think he sent her home because he couldn't get past her missing arm. He wants an active, outdoorsy girl who can freaking repel off of cliffs and row boats and crap. It sounds awful (and it is!) but I would bet $1000 that's why he sent her packing.

i agree. i felt SO badly for her because i'm sure she's constantly judged because of it. she seems so sweet and was SUCH a good sport for all of those stupid, active dates.

and what he's making Des do--that is NOT a test of a relationship. there is no way i'd do it. just let me picnic at the top or drive me down to the bottom.

Why why WHY do these idiotic bachelors equate lasting commitment with cliff repeling??? Why?? And Sean even said something stupid like "if you can commit to this then you can commit to anything." I'd flat out refuse to do it. And I'd also add that I'm not jumping into Icelandic water, swimming with sharks, zip lining through a rainforest or bungee jumping.

Yes and there's nothing more romantic than a man who takes into account his dates capabilities and interests when planning dates. He's all about his interests, in case you were wondering he's outdoorsy and likes adventure .

Run Sara and count your blessings!

Let me get this straight Sean sends home such a sweet girl ( Sara) ... And in such a humiliating way-- but keeps Tierra?
Sean sent her home early-- not to make it easier for her-- but to make it easier for himself! He obviously felt badly about it, so he wanted to get it over with and go on and have fun on his next date.
Tonight I am so not impressed with Sean.

Really, he asks her if she's OK?

If he's into the likes of Tierra she's WAY better off without him. I hope she finds someone that will appreciate her. I feel like some of the dates she was on were done just to put her difference in the spotlight. :(

I also think he had to tell her in private because she's missing an arm and he couldn't just do it during the regular Rose Ceremony. If anything this kind of points out how much more different she is, that he couldn't do it the "normal" way. This wasn't like when Emily wanted the guy who was crying over his little boy, to go home early to be back with him.

I think this is even more humiliating for Sara. The handicapped girl who couldn't be sent home during a normal ceremony. :sad2:

I totally agree! It would have been so much kinder to say goodbye to her the same way he'll say goodbye to whomever else tonight. If I was Sara I'd feel like he disliked me so much, he couldn't even let me hang out until the rose ceremony.

Yes, where is his RESPECT and CONSIDERATION for her and how SHE feels? :confused3

Another welcome! And yes, I agree with you. ::yes::

All that coming from the past commitmentphobe. :sad2:

I also think he freaked out when she showed him family pictures. Gee, he's only going to have to meet the families in a few weeks. Does he not remember that?

I wish he would have sent Sarah home much sooner instead of giving her false hope. Rejection is difficult for everyone, but I would imagine it's much more difficult for Sarah. I felt really bad for her.

I agree. I give Selma a lot of credit or not doing it. I love when she said "no, this iis NOT a once in a lifetime chance. I can come here anytime in the future."

I wonder how far the producers are going to push these dates before someone really gets injured. This is more like Fear Factor than it is a dating show.

Selma sort of annoys me though - first she can't take the heat when they went mountain climbing (she's from Baghdad and can't take heat?) and now she can't take cold. Yes she has the right not to do it, but I think the excuse that you are from a warm climate is a lame excuse.

I guess I am in in the minority but I don't think anything they have done is terrible. He's given them all the choice to do it or not. These are things he likes doing, and he wants a mate who wants to do them too.

I do feel so bad about Sara though. I did not see a connection with them at all though. I don't know if it's because she doesn't have an amr, or he just wasn't feeling it for her. She's a nice girl, I hope she finds someone to settle down with. I loved how she showed him her baby pictures, she seems very genuine.

Desiree reminds me of Brad's Chantal, who made it to the final 2. Very sweet and genuine, someone who'd really love him, and who he doesn't deserve because he's such a shallow nitwit. :p

Oh, and sending Sarah back humiliated to face the girls and tell them herself that she was just rejected is a low blow. I would have just preferred to leave. No need for goodbyes.

She reminds me of someone, it might be someone I know, or maybe it's an actress. It's been bugging me since the beginning. Does she remind anyone else of someone famous?

She reminds a bit of Tia Carrere

I don't know. In a way, she needed to be on enough fates to really see she just is not athletic enough for him. had she been sent home earlier and then watched it on TV, she might have thought, "If he had given me a chance to be on that date, I would have done that, but he sent me home too early!" As it is, she did the polar bear swim and that hay bale race. So she did get to participate enough. There just wasn't enough between them for whatever reason. I hope she sees that watching the show.

I disagree here. Yes, they all seem to have a choice to say no. But, I think they are so desperate, and it's a competition, that they are more afraid to NOT do the stupid, life-threatening stunts. These girls would DIE for love, before they'd say no. "I love and respect MYSELF enough to not do this. And I'll pass up this chance to be loved, if you wouldn't love me if I say NO."

Yes!! That's who she reminds me of! It was driving me crazy.

Did he ever spend any time with Danielle? I can't remember them having a conversation in Canada.

Yes! She does! She is the same...easily weepy and needs affirmation regularly.

I don't necessarily think all of the activities are horrible, I wouldn't mind trying to rappel. I think it's more the general attitude that for a woman to be "fun" or "adventurous" that she must gladly agree to every activity that he suggests and act giddy and excited about it.
