After seeing the pics above (of the CR pool) I was wondering if anyone has anymore pics of the pool/pool area? My kids would love to see those!
Personally I don't think it matters what floor you stay on because we had as low as the 6th floor which is where the Magic Kingdom View starts, then as high as the 14th floor and the view seemed the same to me.ah thanks- that was quick!
few more questions-
Is it any use to request a high floor, or should I assume everyone does that?
And does anyone have any advise on location- which end to be near? Or does it really matter (I don't care much about noise-but does anyone have any preference how the location affects view)

Congragulations and have a great time.Got a great bounceback rate for a 2 bedroom at BLT in oct 2010! Subscribing to this thread to learn more about the resort
We just got back from our WDW vacation and it was amazing! Yes it was crowded, but it was worth it!
i just wanted to say, that it fell in love with the contemporary!!it was perfect! the rooms were spacious enough for my little one to jump around and play with the pack and play set up. The monorail service was so convenient, and the walkway to MK came in handy on overly crowded nights. We had an odd # room (Thank you for the advice) and were able to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks from bed!
Overall it was a very successful first family trip!! im glad we hd the monorail because the bus service was very annoying - waiting on a line with a toddler is unpleasant no matter where you are!
Thanks for all of your help and advice![]()
Well the highest non Club Level floor you can request is the 11th floor, although I don't think it matters because in my opinion the view looks the same on each floor. Besides that if you request an odd numbered room your beds will be facing the Magic Kingdom, so it will be the first thing you see when you wake up in the mornings. Finally I would say it's worth it.HELLO
I am so excited. I just changed my reservation from a Garden View room to a MK View Room in the tower. I used the discount code and it was only 100 dollars more for 5 nights. I am so excited. Its worth it right????
Now my question is for everyone, what floor or Room should we request for and request NOT to have... Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. We are staying at a house Jan 28 - Feb 9th and Then at CR from Feb 9-14. i am so excited to surprise my little 4 year old.. Any advice???
Thanks
Nicole
You're welcome and I am always happy to answer anyones questions. Also I am sure your husband will be very happy when he finds out your staying at the Contemporary, so have a great time.CR Fan-
I just read more thorougly the first page, and quite a bit of this thread (and all of the pictures thread).
Just wanted to say thanks for your patience in answering questions (like mine) that are repeatedly asked, and for your info!
I am surprising my husband with our stay this December- he thinks we're staying at AKL, but this is his dream! (I love it too, almost as much as him).
I have some pics from our trip last month- we stayed Coronado, but every trip we spend quite a bit of time eating at, shopping, and exploring the CR. Never having actually slept there, we already consider it our favorite resort and second home
I just have to work on uploading them so I can share them here.
I have a couple, I don't know if they are what you are looking for or not
Hope this helps
I don't have specific pictures of what you are asking about, however here is a map of the Contemporary and you can see where exactly Tower and Garden Wing rooms are located to each other. As for getting to the Contempo Cafe or anything else in the Tower, it be just like walking back towards there from the Garden Wing.
You're welcome.Thank you so much for the pictures and map. I really appreciate the help.
Our meals there with our DD are usually no more than 1.5 hours at most with drinks, apps. and dessert. You can walk out to the roof while you wait in between courses. It's a great view from up there and I've even brought my drink out there while DD stretched her legs some.Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone who's been to the Cali Grille can tell me on average how long your meal was from your appetizers to dessert? And if your kiddo is getting antsy, might it be possible to ask to get dessert to go so you can go back to your room to eat it? I've read on other threads that the meal from start to finish can be up to two hours, and wanted to ask my CR experts!![]()

Oh, this is great info! I like the idea of taking her out on the roof to unwind a bit between courses! Definitely do-able then. Thanks WDWKOOK!![]()

You're welcome. Don't forget your camera when you go out there. If you are dining in or near the "wine room", the door is right near there.Oh, this is great info! I like the idea of taking her out on the roof to unwind a bit between courses! Definitely do-able then. Thanks WDWKOOK!![]()
