I love how they've highlighted that it's cooler than yesterday like that's supposed to make you feel better about it. Sounds stifling!
Yuck! Be careful!
I was just thinking about your AC sitch, are you still going without at work? Funny you'd mention the crank style window, we had those in a house I grew up in. We had central air, but somehow I still had a window unit in my little bedroom. I guess my dad just took one of the two windows out completely to accommodate the window unit. It was frosty cold in my room, I loved it.We don't even have window units at my house (our windows open with a crank) so we make do by sitting under a fan
We are still without A/C in most of the building at work. We "managed" the last few labs by moving into our second lab, where it was under 80F most of the time, but if it hit 80 I was told to cancel lab. Didn't have to cancel, but it was close a couple of times. In the fall, we'll need to use both labs every day. I am currently planning a hybrid syllabus, so we can hold lab NOT in the labs for the first month to 6 weeks of school. Once it's October, we're pretty much sure we won't have a heat wave and the temps in the labs will be manageable, so we'll move back into the labs then.I was just thinking about your AC sitch, are you still going without at work? Funny that! As we NFLDERS are wont to say. The dogs were with them from really young chicks, and are protective.Hi Jane! Nice setup for the chickens! How does your dog react to them?
