Hey, Liesa, I saw Marv at your restaurant hanging out in a tree. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Seriously, love the pics of the Nuremberg. I like your "Spiegel" pose...you look relaxed.

Sorry the others were still sick and not up to dinner. They are the ones who missed out...your meal looks wonderful (as I'm sitting here eating a boring ham sandwich).

I googled that pix too and came up with the same answer:rolleyes1:lmao:
As for the Kraut be grateful it was not DJay and Jordam eating it !!!!:scared1::rotfl2:

I've heard of the disastrous gas-----tronomic consequences of some of Dj and Jordan's adventures.... :scared1: and yet, I'd love to adventure with them someday.

Where in the HECK is Marv?? I haven't seen him in like a week!! Hopefully, he didn't get too carried away with cooking small children!

I totally cracked up at that shot when I saw it!! Too funny!!

Ham sannies sound as boring as my leftover stuffing I had for breakfast.

:lmao::lmao::lmao: guuud one! I needed that this morning! I miss the funny stuff every morning I used to get!

I knew you'd (of all my readers) especially appreciate my plate o' kraut!! Nothing like getting yerself all loaded up!
Dang skippy. Believe me, if I had eaten all that kraut, there wouldn't have been a tree left with a witch still in it.

Hi! I just found this TR and have been reading furiously trying to keep up. I haven't read any of your PTRs or older TRs. It is sort of like starting to watch the Return of the King halfway through the middle and trying to figure out who all the characters are and what they are doing and even though you don't quite understand it all, you can tell something grand is going on.

Going back now to read some more.:)

Another pirate!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Welcome PirateKate!! :welcome: We're so glad you found us here and hope you'll come back often to "hang out" and make merry!!!

I know that feeling EXACTLY!! My poor kids had to stop LoTR about 10 million times the first time I watched it with them- just didn't get it at all. BUT! it's become one of my favorite flicks of ALL time, and likewise, I hope you really enjoy this wild ride we're on.

I'm sure Tate will keep you entertained in due time, and there's no lack of krautmania until then. Glad to have you here!

So many things to comment on, will try to write more tomorrow, please remind me of it! I can tell you about the fountain and the bay windows! :goodvibes

I had no idea that there were witches decorating the Hexenhäusle!! You must think we Germans love themed decorating between the Hotel Elch and this restaurant, but the truth is, it is very uncommon!!! :scared1: There should not have been any liver in the sausage (but then there should not be any sausage inside a dumpling, what a strange dish!!). And I think you had the Sauerbraten? That's a dish which is on the menu at Biergarten in Epcot - I wonder wether you got to compare that. Actually you meal might not be as fatty as you think, the meat for Sauerbraten is rather lean beef and the dumplings are just potatoes, nothing more... :goodvibes

Did you bring some food back for us to try? Looked good! :thumbsup2

And those witches were a bit freaky looking. I think *I* would have been scared to go to the restroom. :rolleyes1

Mark, you nut! :lmao: Your a lot of fun to read, with people like you and Great Biscuit, Liesa, and Jordy there is no way I'll ever be brave enough to write a TR, I just don't think have enough funny in me, maybe other things , but not enough funny to make it an interesting read.

Thanks Millie! I suspect your TR would be far more interesting than you think! Who says it has to be funny? It just has to be better than a Sham-wow infomercial. :thumbsup2

I mean the world only has so many barf bags.

Yes, and half of them are on Mission: Space.

someone can tell me what this architectural form is called, I’d be very grateful:

DSCN8400.jpg

I vote Gothic! Mostly because when I get asked about architecture, I find "Gothic" is a good default answer that sounds like you know what you're talking about.

I had to crack up at how it turned out like I was posing like a Spiegel’s catalogue- I have no idea what attracted my attention.

:lmao::lmao:

we left, Anara needed to use the potty, and since I have taken Cruel Parenting 101...

Hey! Maybe we were in the same class! I'll have to check my yearbook.

Yes, I will try to remind you about bays and that ummm... odd fountain. I mean chains around a naked woman. That's just odd.

I think we hit all the odd and weird that Nuremberg had to offer. :lmao: I'm sure you'll have quite the something to say when I post the breast feeding gone wild fountain too. I think the sausage stuffed thingys were ok, not great, but not wonderful either. I think I remember you mentioning that too, when we talked that you were confused as to what it even was. :confused3

I might have been sauerbraten. Whatever it was, it was fantastic! :thumbsup2 I've had it many times at various German places- the last one being the Linderhofer in Knoxville, KY. Super yum for all my Vols fans. :thumbsup2 Make a trip there sometime- you won't be unsatisfied.

I know it probably was not fattening in caloric value alone, but given the quantity on those plates--- well, let's just say, it wouldn't take too many of them to add a dress size. Or two. :lmao:

Wish I could have!! But, the leftovers were left- behind. For the hotel staff to toss.

I think maybe there were there for those who forgot there cash to pay a tip- which I totally forgot about in my storytelling.... I should tell that tale, as embarrassing as it was.

:lmao::lmao: And to think.. our family had never used one!! :rotfl2:

Know it all. When I hear that word, I think of all the frankly weird people I see here in PTown with sharpened claws, spiked dog collars, and black leather.

Hey! Maybe we were in the same class! I'll have to check my yearbook.

Yes, yes, I think we were!!! I remember you. I think you minored in bribery. Yetis was it??

Once again I am guilty of just reading the update. :badpc:

I love the pictures and the one of Anara with her claw face is to funny... well not as funny as you posing picture! :lmao:

I'm not sure if I would of been able to eat in that restaurant. I would of been scared I would never of been heard from again! Those witches looked very scary!!!!!!! :scared1::scared1:

The food does look good though. Speaking of food, I think I need a snack right now. popcorn::

I hope your remedy for the kids works and they can enjoy a little of Germany. :goodvibes

BTW you forgot to add... Until next time, Have a Magical Day! :lmao::lmao:

After all that vomiting... I'm sure you were wishing you were in WDW already!!!!! :lmao::lmao:

(and have a magical evening!) ;)

:rotfl2::rotfl2: I have tentative (VERY!!!) permission to hit up the World next Sept. 30th. WE'll see.....

Hot dang, that's a good smilie!! I just ate me a mean steak with homemade cranberry sauce, Ceasar salad, wild rice and brocolli made the only way it becomes edible- with fake cheese sauce. Oh yea, and now I"m going to top it off with some peppermint ice cream. Boy howdy!! with a meal like that I could take on that bronc. One way or another.
