Is it really just pictures of villains on tv? I thought there were character appearances. That would be really disappointing.
No, no characters.

So they've found a way to charge around $60 (with tax) per person for 1 cocktail and a few appetizers so we can view the fireworks. I guess people weren't spending enough in the lounge. I seriously thought there was more to it than that. I've avoided it because forced character interactions make me uncomfortable. Silly me!There is absolutely no villains theming. Just a slideshow of still images of villains from Disney movies on TVs around the lounge. Other than that it is tastefully decorated in the Contemporary/BLT style. They used to have props from live action movies like Jafar's walking stick and Cruella's coat, but they have been removed for a while now.

It actually costs nothing to go up there and watch the fireworks. As with everything else WDW or otherwise nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything ….So they've found a way to charge around $60 (with tax) per person for 1 cocktail and a few appetizers so we can view the fireworks. Testing out just how far they can push that envelope.
They should at least include a character.
It’s in the loungeI am pretty sure the WWD experience is in a separate room in the lounge. Having the Queen of Hearts for example available during the experience could enhance it for sure.
It’s in the lounge
Would be cool if the character caravan that goes around to the resorts by day, did an extended evening visit up there. (But dues might increase. (Worth it?).
The lounge is “carved out” from the DVC condo association as a commercial area, just like restaurants and shops elsewhere are. Because of that, BLT owners neither pay for lounge operations in their dues nor share in any profit or loss from those operations. It’s completely separate and independent from BLT.Would be cool if the character caravan that goes around to the resorts by day, did an extended evening visit up there. (But dues might increase. If we are talking about the same lounge yes … you can go in without WWD but if your table is reserved you have to leave They had a bar set up outside for those not with WWD the night we were there so still able to watch the fireworks but not use the inside bar or special viewing areaSo WWD is intermixed with everyone else in the lounge? It used to be in a separate room off to one side. I haven't paid attention in recent visits to notice if they had changed that or not.

I know nothing about the wicked wind down. Haven’t been up there. Was just a comment reference the character comments.I have never seen or heard of it being in a separate space…didn’t even know there was one.
I went for the first time within the first month it began and it was in the main lounge area.
The dessert party closed to the lounge to anyone but those who paid for that so could you be thinking of that?
