Mom is holding down the fort.


I do the slide with my son a few times. Soo much fun.
Then I switch out with my husband and I check out the hot tub. I love that they have two... so if one is full of kids.... like the lower one... I go up to the top ones.

Here is my mom in the pool.

They also do pool games here. My son joins in on the fun.

We ate our packed sandwiches for lunch and my husband orders the nachos for a side snack for us to share. These nachos are better than the normal ones. They are called: Spiced Pork Nachos: Tortilla Chips topped with Spiced Pork, Beans, Herbed Crema, and Kachumbari. Man it is good!

My son got pretzel which he loves too.

My son they plays a bunch in the with the water guns and water play area.

Next we head back in and ready for our dinner at Sanaa Then head down. I love how do not need to travel far to get our restaurant



There are no views sadly from the restaurant because of the construction.
We are seated and we order our food and drinks.
Man do I love the bread service here.

I loved a lot of the dips.
My parents get this as an app too.

Our drinks come.


I order the buttered chicken cause I have too it is soo yummy.


My son decides to be adventures and try the fresh fish. I forgot love that they have it for kids. He did not like it. But I am happy he tried it. I ate some of it, it was good.

My drink was great. A wonderful dessert drink.
And let me tell you Saana recently updated their desserts.... and they look and taste like Jiko level dessert. They are amazing!! You must get them. I got the giraffe dessert and it was the best dessert I had the whole time.

My parents got the chocolate one which is perfect for sharing.


Overall. We really love Saana. It is such a good table service restaurant with great food, drinks and atmosphere. Also we could all drink cause we could just walk back to our room. A major plus!

Next we slowly... very slowly walk back to our room. We are soo full.
My son notices a cm and with a table soo he goes and check it out. He loves learning new things.





You had to match the poop with the animal. My son took this very seriously... lol and as always the cms were soo good with him.

Thursday: Thanksgiving Day!!
Good morning for AKV!
Waking up to this view is really nice and even better on Thanksgiving day.



We like doing turkey trots on Thanksgiving and we made our own.
We take a bus over to MK and we start our run at MK.

We run to Contemporary and we go inside to do our first Gingerbread stop.
This is an amazing gingerbread castle. Soo bueatiful.


Next we run back to Magic Kingdom and I notice a photographer out front. Soo picture time.



Then we take the path down to Grand Floridian and run. My son has a lot of energy and is having fun...sprinting ahead of us and then waiting for us. Lol.

We make it to GF and we go inside for the Gingerbread house. It is great coming early in the morning there are alot less people here.

My son cannot believe how big it is!

Look at the details.

The whole lobby is so pretty.



We try and see if we can get to Poly... we would normally run to it next but it is all blocked off.

So we give up and my son is tired now. So we tech the monorail back to MK.
I see the photo spot open in GF 2nd level.

This photographer was probably the best one, hilarious and really engaged my son.





We end our running trip by going on to the monorail.


We had such a great little turkey trot and it was good way to see all the cool xmas decorations in the resorts.

After running we cooled down in the pool. Man my son looves the pool.

We have my husband goes and plays with our son in the pool a bit while grandma and me get a drink after our run



My son then participates in more of the pool side games. I love these kind of activities they do for everyone.



After a while of fun in the pool we head back to the rooms to change.

We walk over to Jumbo.
Man is it a beautiful lobby and that tree!! It is amazing. I never get tired of seeing this tree.



I love that they have gingerbread animals. They look so cute and smell amazing.

My son sees another cm at a table and he goes to check it out. They reach him a game and he has fun with it.

Time to go down and check in Boma.
We check in and they take us to our seat.

We love Boma for Thanksgiving. Best buffet and u get traditional Thanksgiving food with Boma twist. Soo good.

Here is my first plate. And everything was soo good. That soup was just amazing!!

Man the desserts are soo good.
I like grab everything...lol.

We all loved it here. After wards we go check out the store.

Then we check out the popcorn up bar they have in the back of the lobby. And end with a dessert drink.

We also get a gingerbread cookie for my son.


After drinking and relaxing we slowly walk to our room.

What a great Thanksgiving dinner.

Friday!
Time for me to run again. My son wanted to join in but my mom did not.
We took a bus over to HS and started our run there. Plan is to check out more of the xmas decorations at every hotel. It was easy to get a bus and instead of heading to the park we take the path to the epcot resorts.

My son again has fun running ahead of me and then waiting for me to catch up... ohh to be young again.

First tree at Boardwalk.



Then we check out the cool gingerbread house.



I also have my son sit in the chair... lol. Like a good mom does.


Next we do a quick look in Cake Bake shop... that place is pretty but wow those prices.

Next we continue our run around the Epcot resorts at stop at Beach club for their cute carousel. My son could not believe it was moving.




Next we check out Yacht club and they have a who village and train. My son had fun checking out the whole thing.




And of course a pic infront of their xmas tree.

Then we end where we started and headed back to the Hollywood studies busses.

If u need a place to run, the Epoct resort boardwalk is really a great running spot and soo fun stopping and looking at all the decorations.

Next we go change and relax at little in our room.
We have reservations for brunch at Boma...it took a while for them to seat us. Not sure why.... but the good news it was not crowded since we were the very last people seated I think.
Man do we love Boma... breakfast is just as good as dinner. Also we noticed some things rolled over from last night dinner... lol.




We had fun with the drinks.
My mom went with a bloody Mary.

I went with a mimosas flight... this thing is huge! Such a good value.



So much good and classic breakfast food here.


And their desserts are great too... these stickers buns are heavenly.


If u worry about going late will they rush u out nope... also they refilled everything. We really like coming here for a brunch.

We are soo full.... AGAIN!!

Also don't ask me which is better dinner or breakfast... we can't choose hence why we do both!

Next we head back to our room and we do an afternoon nap... becuase tonight we have tickets to Mickeys Very Merry Christmas party!! So I want to make sure everyone can last. Those tickets are expensive!

We noticed it has been raining while we napped and is still sprinkling... bah... we pack rain gear. Rain can put a real damper on a party.

So we leave and hop on a bus to MK.
We get around 4:25... this is one of our blocked out days but the party ticket gets us in at 4pm. We decide to get to MK around 4:30 to let the crowds die down so we can walk in. This was the line to get in.

Score! We got to walk in and not wait in those big lines.
They give u a wrist band and then have u follow the signs.

They have a dj playing.


Then we get our free ornament. I love how it is included in the ticket.



We get some pics with the cute pictures in the background.





We go and get a das pass for Jack and Sally.
U have to go to them in person and ask for it. It is not through the app like a normal one.
It is nice that they have some characters out before the party starts.


Next we find find a nice table with an umbrella to sit at.

I now go back to Gingerbread men to wait in line. While the rest of the family sits at the table. I call up my husband when we get close to the Gingerbread men.
I loove that they have parade characters to meet here.




Next I get in line for one the cute photo xmas frames and then wave up my husband and son when I get close.



We chill a bit longer at the table... I go to a cart and get the xmas mickey light up necklace for my son.

Then the DAS pass is up and we head down mainstreet for Jack and Sally. Man is it crowded. My son is clinging to me a bit here... the time period of when u have the party people and day time guest together is really, really crowded just fyi.

Once we get inside my son was happy. Alot less crowded and we were able to get in the das line. Jack looved my son shirt. He thought it was perfect mix of scary and xmas. They spent time really talking to my son. My son loved meeting them.


We really think meeting them before the party starts is a great use of time.

My son wants to do some shooting. So we get a das pass for Buzzlightyear. We wait some seats near Jack and Sally out of the way of the crowds and head down when it is time.







We all have fun on the ride even though we had serious faces in the pics... lol.

Next we head for a spot to watch Frozens Holiday show. They are starting to check for wrist bands to get in the middle area. We get a spot behind one of the fences. So we will not be blocked and to keep my son from feeling to crowded.
We highly suggest watching the show now before the party starts to save party time for other things. It is a really cute show.





Do I still miss the dream lights... yep but this is cute and my son loves Frozen.

We next start heading to get in line to meet the Elsa and Anna and I notice a photographer with no line infront of the Castle. So we get some cute castle pics with the winter projections on it.




Yep my son made that face... lol. He made a lot of intersting faces this event.

We then head to Anna and Elsa. They have the xmas outfits on and it is the first time to meet them in these outfits soo we heard the line gets long. The party starts at 7pm. The idea is to pick something that is going to be a long line and wait before the party starts in it. We have about 20 mins before the party starts. The cms already have a line forming for Anna and Elsa. If u want to wait for the other princess meet and great it is a way shorter line. My son waits with the family outside the line for as much as possible so he can be free to move around. But as they move the line inside I call them over to get in line. The other line actually opens to meet the other processes before the party starts. Ours opens a few mins before party starts so not bad.


We wait about 10 mins after the line opens up to see the Anna and Elsa. Not bad.

Our turn.
Man my son loved talking to them.


He is soo cute with them.

We go in for our pics and Elsa had to fix her cape... check me out checking her cape. I soo told her I love her cape. These outfits are my favorite outfits of all times!!
And ohh the detail of that cape!!


We left and it is offically party time!!

We head to our first cookie stop at Gaston Tavern. With ginger bread cookies and egg nog.
Our plan is to ask for two cookies at every stop and if they can't no big deal. We were able to grab a table too!




We all loved this gingerbread cookie. It was soft and really tasty.

We go to the bathroom to while we are here.

What a great start to the party. I go in and grab another cookie they are soo good.

Then we head on off to our next stop.

Next plan is to go to the Xmas Circus area.
If they are short lines for any characters our plan is to stop. A long line for them soo we pass them.


Next I see the photographer I really want us to get. It is a special effect. There is a little bit of wait but nothing crazy long.
They take a light and walk around u with it to create this effect.



My sons faces were interesting again... lol.

Then next we see the polar bears.
The line was reasonable so we go into it.
The polar bear names is snowball I
think. He gave great bear hugs!


The xmas circus area is soo cute.
My son had fun talking to the man on stilts.




I was hoping to see snoap in the area but apparently no snoap tonight since it rained and soap plus wet walkways is very slippery.
But the area was lit up soo cute. Felt very xmas back here.

We head to Santa meet and great not for Santa but for mini mnms I heard they were giving out over here. My son looves mini mnms. The cms were giving them out to anyone who danced. So of couse we did a little dance.

Next we head the back way to Tommorowland. This is such a good way to do it to stay away from the crowds.
We get our next set of cookies.
These are the suger cookies. A little boring but my son looves them. And it inlcuded apple juice with them.



We get seats at a table which is amazing but it is more crowded over here.


We got a das pass for Space mountain and we go into it.
This ride is soo cool with the xmas overlay. My son was alittle worried since unlike Disneyland he cannot sit next to one of us. So I had my hand stretched back so he can hold me and my husband holding his shoulder. Lol. What we do for our kids. My son looved it. He said is was better with the xmas overlay but still likes the seats better in Disneyland.



Then next we do the dance party.
My son had soo much fun dancing and I love that they had characters out with them.




They had fog coming out of the machines too.

More dancing!

Next we head to Tommorowland speed way for their overlay... it starts sprinkling again..

We put on our jackets.
And then it starts pouring right we get in... lol.
This was a very wet ride... lol. Not the most fun... lol.
My son loves this ride and is driving my husband.
The overlay is really nice though. Just hard to appreciate with the downpour.
This selfie my mom took feels shows our wet feeling...





We are really wet now... and it is still pouring rain.

We go in to star traders store which had the party merch to dry off and buy our merch.

I did not take pics of all the merch... I blame being cold and wet. Lol. Also it was really crowded in there.

We could not decide between the two pins
.. so we buy both.

I also bought the passholder toy soldiers shirt. I loove the toy soldiers but wish it was not on a Grey shirt. But the Grey shirt was really soft... so that is what sold me over.

Next we move next door to get cookies and hot chocolate. It is soo crowded in here because of the downpour. We look for a while to find table and chairs and I see a guy at a table all alone and ask if we could share. He said yes. Score! He was such a nice guy.



We sit here and eat and drink and most importantly dry off. I am soo thankful for a indoor spot right now.
After we eat and dry off... my son decides it is time to dance. I loved the Disney Junior Jingle Jam. The music is all the classic disney songs so we had fun singing to them and dancing to it. They had characters join in too.







We had soo much fun. It really helped save the party for us. My mom for a while thought she might be leaving after that downpour. But getting a nice dry spot with entertainment really was great!
We noticed that it stopped raining so we head out. Ready for more fun.
