I actually had a really nice evening. I wasn't looking forward to it, becuase the park the Lee plays at is in a terrible neighborhood. He had the 7pm game, which means we got out of there a little before 9pm.

The nice part was, the extra mom that normally plays wasn't there. She normally plays and leaves her 6 and 2yo out in the bleachers by themselves. It's aweful because if I wasn't there, what would she do???

Oh I did find a razor and a bullet shell right in front of the bealchers that I had to kick under the concrete so that none of my children would get it. Truly, I wouldn't leave my kids unattended there at all.

However my kids were attended to and we played racing to the end of the bleachers and back. I had Sammie flying as I was running. They were all laughing so hard. It was a blast.

Anyway, what made it such a nice evening is that they won!!! Dh is sooo much nicer to everyone when things go his way. He actaully kissed Julie and Nico goodnight. And he said goodnight to Sammie.

It was sooo cool to see.

Hi, I am Meshmar's sister. I just want to say that I read the remarks yall posted to him when he tried to join in what he thought might be a group of friends. You can go back and edit all you want, but I saw them before that happened. I didn't write at the time because I knew I would be too harsh.

My brother is a great guy. He was very proud to get his first tag. The idea that someone would ask someone to delete their tag from the tag fairy, especially their first, is unbelievable. He was very hurt by the tone of your remarks, as anyone would be. I hope that you got a good feeling by running someone off the board who was just looking for a place to belong.

How offensive could he have been ? I believe his first post was "I failed...

Don't bother to put me on ignore, as I certainly would not want to communicate on this board again. It is my opinion that this thread should have been shut down as it violates DIS board policy.

Ok, you know I mean this with lots of love and kidding....cause you know I tease you about your typing and spelling (and mine is just as bad sometimes...LOL)...but this cracked me up........

Did I ever tell you guys about MY cousin Dan???

He is one of those people that can't let things go. Everytime you talk to him, he drags up about how his mom did this or that. The funny thing is, he is a grown man.

Dan goes on and on whinning about this and that. I am sooo glad I don't live a life like that. I like to say, I can only take him in doses. When i'm in a room with him too long, I just want to turn to him and say, "enough is enough. Let the past go and move on with your life. Be happy. Life is too short."

But, he is family and I can't say that. So, I just move away quickly and try to avoid him at all times.

Speaking of - what a wasted day I had. Spent paying the stack of bills on my desk & running around looking for tennis racket for DS. Must be a bad time of year to buy, no one had in the right size...finally found the "right one" hours later. The tennis lessons are burning a hole in the day too. How do people get this stuff done if they work full-time? Think my organizational skills need work.
