quite a few are going to waukegan which is the town 5 miles from my place.
i read that texas can not accomodate anymore as they are full in their shelters.


i will have to find out where in wkgn they will go and take clothes there.

Good morning friends, good-bye summer..........while officially it is not fall according to the calendar, it is the end of summer for most of us....I love fall so I'm not sorry to see it go bye-bye. I flipped my calendar page over to September this morning and I swear, it seems like I just flipped it to August, where did the time go? I can't believe in a month we will be on our trip..

Well, I MUST finish my cleaning today and get my suitcase out and lay out some clothes to pack, cause the rest of this week will be a rush for sure. Friday will be here and I won't be ready to leave..........panic mode will kick in for sure by Thursday for me...LOL

I took care of him mac, but thanks for offering a cat attack....oh he just made me so stickin' mad it wasn't funny..........but I didn't let it ruin my day, I walked away from him and went to sit someplace else....I'm not a nice person when I'm fired up .......... just ask my loving roommate..

I know it is labor day and all but i think i am going to try to catch up on my house cleaning. I am going to try to go through the basement toys and mark them trash, garage sale, or keep so i can declutter. I am getting sick have having sooooo many things i can't even walk.

It's Labor Day here too Pam, I've been cleaning up and doing a little de-cluttering too....not doing much more, I've been on the go all weekend and I want to relax this afternoon..............off to watch the baseball game....see ya......

went shoe shopping today and came back with no shoes. imelda i ain't......

the shoe place will call the other stores in their chain and see if they can get my shoes for me, hoping to hear from him tomorrow afternoon.

if he can't get them, i am screwed big time.

rockport discontinued my style of shoe and i don't know what to do.......

I actually got 2 pairs I ordered online and was going to return one pair, then tried on again the ones today I was going to keep, and decided I wasn't so keen on them, so both go back now........all I'm out is a trip to the post office...so hopefully the other couple pair I ordered will make me Queen Imelda...

Gotta run, supper time........I got the house cleaned up and the suitcase out and a some shorts layed out to pack...its a start......then my friend called to see if we could watch the 2 littles for a few hours Wed. or Thurs.....which of course we will do, but why can't they ask when I'm NOT busy....LOL....that would make too much sense now wouldn't it...........

LOL mac, I think I will hit the post office that is near where I'm working, run over there on my lunch break...........so I'll be fine........

Fixed dinner, cleaned up, got trash together for trash day tomorrow and now I'm going to finally settle down I think...something I wanted to do earlier today, but you know how that goes..............the week starts tomorrow all over again, but a short one for me....

has anyone ever heard of at home america? is how i would explain it is it is a cross between home interiors and pampered chef. I talked to someone at the state fair yesterday and it kind of intrested me so if she calls me i might just sell that stuff. there was a ton of stuff i would love to have! you can look at the stuff at athome.com--they have cool stuff!!!

Enjoy the day my friends and play nice.....today will seem like Monday all day to me...I will be all out of sync this week..........but Friday is moving closer by the minute........I've had "guilt" remorse all weekend....I feel bad for leaving the boys here..........but then maybe they are glad to see me go for a few days..........
