evening all!

I just got home for the day. I dropped the family off and ran out to dave's mom and dads to stash so things away

We picked up a pink nintendo ds for aubrey and a bratz game and for Noah we picked up a huge remote control truck. I got my bil a shop vac which was on his list so now the only thing i have left is a few more stocking stuffers, a few things that i have to get online, and something for dave from the kids.

I think one of these nights I am going to take everything out to dave's parents house and have a wrapping party with myself...that way i can get it all done in one night. I really don't know how I am going to wrap trent's weight bench though that thing is HEAVY!!!!

Mic--he is a cutie sounds like you had a productive day. I was going to come home and get busy but seems I went in a different direction. I guess if it doesn't get done I can always try to get it done this week.

You are the shopping/wrapping queen amongst us Pam...I did some online shopping, but most of it was for ME.... Maybe you could buy one of those big plastic Christmas wrapping bags they have Pam and the bench would fit in it...just a thought

I'm off to watch some DVD's for a bit, my long weekend thing is to try and watch some of the many DVD's I have and never have time to watch.

It is very chilly here, so I'm off to get under the covers.

Just spoke to my Mom, she is sounding somewhat better, but she has a long way to go. They are making her sit up in a chair and tomorrow plan to get her a walker so she can walk around a bit. She does sound a little better each day though when I speak with her. She has been through a lot. Her friend was visiting her when I called, so that made me feel good that she had a little company.

everyone said the dinner was the best ever - they were enamoured with DSs Wii...they stayed late (nice - usually eat & run crowd)

shopped till i dropped yesterday & today (managed to sneak in some online gifts too, bought compute stereo set from buy dot com @ 3:00 pm yesterday, standard shipping aka free - Fed Ex was pulling up in a van while i was unloading the suv's goodies @ 11:30 am today ).

Trent has a bb game today at 3 and noah has the week off. I think some friends are going to come over and watch trent play and then we are going out to dinner with them.

Congrats KS on the young guy making the 9th grade team...I remember those days...always tough til they heard after try-outs if they made it or not.

Ok, this is my week for curling iron ills...I hit my ear the other day...tonight I clipped my thumb and wrist...not a bad burn, but just enough to be red and know that I did it.......

i'm clumsy, prone to burns since i was a child curling iron burns are wicked

i'm still mad @ middle DS for doing the stupid "branding" thing that was a rage w/his jock buds...thankfully, just went with a 1/2 inch one on bicep. It irritates me so, still...would rather see a tatoo that he happened to ask for as a Xmas present

I can make my adr's tomorrow so I need to get with my friend and see if we agree with each other. She seems to want to take her time and just do walk in's...i told her she can do what she wants but I am doing adr's!!

no such animal as a walk in, even for lunch anymore @ WDW

we considered ourselves lucky to snag an 11:30 am lunch @ liberty tree last june (24 hours prior) when we found ourselves with extra credits; every thing else in the MK was booked solid - all day long! as was Chef Mickey & Ohana

whether the new versions of the DP (no appetizers or tips) will lessen the appeal to guests remains to be seen.

I am glad she finally decided to listen to me and we figured it out. I called this morning and got: Boatwrights, (we decided to stay at POR) Chef Mickeys, Coral Reef, Whispering Canyons,Sci-Fi,and Le Cellier. We have one more to book but not sure where to book it. We have Mem. Day open which we are thinking about going off-site to eat as they are going to rent a car, or that last day of our trip...not sure where to put it.

KS--have you started packing yet? You'll have to let me know how your cruise goes. My mom is on me about finding more information for her on 2009. I keep telling her we have time


I get one kid better and another one falls Trent stayed home this morning because he said his ear and throat hurt. Dave is taking him to the dr. here shortly. Hope it's not strep. If he can go to school he will go when he gets done at the dr. His first basketball game is tomorrow.

Ok, I typed out a post this morning before leaving for work.....wth is it?? Now I forgot what I said...and I know it was important...

Let's see, I told Pam good luck on ressies, and I see she got them

Told KS that ds also did the ritual when he made high school baseball with 'pink belly'....I don't get the whole thing, but whatever

I also told you I was going for tests today...bone density and the 'girl squishy' one which I know you gals know of what I speak...so I've been and back and was treated to an extra test as the radiologist wanted a better look, so I had a sonagram of one side...then after the nurse did that, the radiologist decided SHE wanted to watch so I had to have it again...seems nothing to do about nothing, but they are suggesting to my doctor I have another 'gram in about 6 months. Always fun for sure

I will check out that song KS, as we share an 'ear'

I watched a good chick flick this weekend...watch it if you girls get a chance...it was called "Holiday" with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jack Black and Jude Law. It was funny and a cute romantical movie..it is several years old, it was on one of the movie channels we get

DWTS's is about over, and I'm hoping for a Helio/Julienne win She is such a cutie. Her brother is cute also, too bad he got booted last week.

Oh yes, get packing KS....yippee

had mine in june and do repeats on those.
same with the squishy tests.........

Thanks teacher for my gold star......I deserve one for all the tests I've had since the 1st of October...I've never been to the doctor and imaging place this much in years......heck, the last time I saw a doctor on a regular basis was when I was pregnant My insurance has been pretty good covering this stuff, so I hope this last stuff is ok. Actually, all the female stuff is supposedly 100%, considered wellness checks I guess. I wanted to fit in as much as I could though as I had met our deductable.

Not much happening...gonna watch a little TV...been raining all afternoon, very dank and it was dark when I left work...it felt like the middle of the night

pam - great choices, never have seen POR ; did you select the New Orleans mansion area (trundle bed?) or the Bayou (both look great)! Believe you can catch a boat to DTD from there? embarrassed to admit we've never eaten @ WC - it's always a rollicking place when we walk by . Coral reef (figure out an "occasion" and call & ask for a dive banner - DS luved it) and you get a window seat. It has edged out LeCellier in our book, both are top notch!

mic - yikes, tests groan; you've had your share lately. Mams never bothered me much before (before things started to head south ) now i'm sore for days. I get the sonograms too, now they've come out with yet another method they're using in our area (CAT scan-like method? ) guess it's all dependent on the dr/insurance company.

mac - no packing yet, drug down the suitcases from attic, did get all the inside decs including the Xmas tree up. Left the bottom third of tree bare; bad poochie ate the lights & many fav. ornaments last year. can't wait to see what mayhem is in store this year. I'm banishing her to kitchen & den when we're gone, not about to ask for trouble.

My oldest dog ate several dozen raisin filled and m & m cookies that were left out on buffet overnight on Thanksgiving. He looked mighty green the next day, has bounced back...such a hog. Getting to the point where my animals are more trouble than my kids...lol; least they don't give me lip.
