test Part 10

Afternoon all.........got my trip to Sam's behind me, now going to take it easy for the afternoon

Tony, it is AWESOME that you are feeling so much better! Going back to work sucks...LOL...but at least you are doing it as a healthy pup! Friends are wonderful to have, they sure can help us through the bumps, glad we all have each other :grouphug:

Pam, have fun with your friend...

Mac, what's for dinner?? Pizza:thumbsup2

mic, pizza sounds pretty good......
either that or take out rib dinners.

i'll flip a coin

Can't believe our extended weekend is kaput.......:sad2: it's about 362 days too short.....;)

late checkin, happy labor day!

tony - cannot believe you're going to back to work already...you are the man:thumbsup2 take it easy, please.

pam - no problem...i'm sorta sensitive; so grooooooss to even think about them, makes me itchy - yuck.

mac - i booked cruise Dec. 2, we try to stagger our trips one in late June, another early Dec. We'd just go for 2 or 3 weeks & be done with it but uncomfortable with those @ home for so long.:confused3 I thought we were safe, figuring the worst of it would be over (Sept/Oct) joke's on me. Always thought the ports bounced back within a few weeks, not this time...and a cat 5 is bearing down on central america & belize as we speak. Guess they weren't kidding when they forecast an active storm season. Hope you have sunny skies & the wind @ your back for your trip:wizard: , couple weeks?

mic - you are one of the most positive people I know, such a sunny outlook...wish i could be more like that; i tend to stew & worry about what might happen.

let me know what you guys come up with as to a meet & i'll see if it's workable for us (DH isn't normal lol, we tend to not know his work schedule "for sure" until the Thursday prior), are we thinking a weekend?

I picked up my glasses on Saturday, such a disappointment - can't see out of them. Told them then, they urged me to try them & see if i get used to them.:confused3 can barely read out of the bifocal part & everytime i turn my head even slightly left or right, the print morphs wildly & veers upward...so weird??? I plan on being on their doorstep when they open tomorrow.

keisha, take the glasses back. have them changed.
i have had to take glasses back 3 x's so far.

i used to wear biofocals then stopped wearing glasses 2 years ago.
i use the reading glasses at the drugstore to read now.

it's a long story. can't get a new script till i have some surgery and that's not gonna happen for sometime.

a no nothing day here.
i keep thinking tomorrow will be monday.
it's gonna be tuesday and then will make it only a 4 day work week.
woo hoo...

well, we shopped till we dropped:thumbsup2 i have been home for awhile but had to go out and get some groceries for the week.

sounds like we will have 5 more going with us to disney in may. My friends brother is going with us and they have 3 small kids. I told my friend that we will have to teach them NOT to doddle.:sad2: I am a commado type person when it comes to disney:upsidedow

Have a good night everyone...see you on tuesday.

I have a quick post to show you my kids first day of school pics. I took them Aug 13th, but I have been a little slower about posting them.

My parents were here and my stepfather was outside taking photos with me. I didnt get a great shot of Julie, but he got a really nice one.

OCM...I can't believe how much they have grown since I saw them last!! Can't wait to see them when you guys get here later this month !!!

Oh yeah...WAKE UP EVERYBODY.....I'M BACK!!!:cool1:

Good morning all..........blech.....where did THOSE 3 days go? Even doing nothing it flew by.....oh well, such is life

Tony, welcome back, how ya feeling?

OCM, what cuties, I LOVE those pics, they are so sweet and those smiles...glad you posted them. Samantha is growing like a weed! Weren't we just trying to figure out if she was gonna be a a she or a he?? :rotfl2:

Mac, work today?

Gant & Ed, give us what we want............:upsidedow

KS, take those glasses back, that isn't right. I have the no line bifocals and it took me awhile to adjust to them, but I could "see" out of them fine to begin with, just took awhile at learning how to hold my head just right to read and such. A guy at work goes to Belize, he always talks about how much he loves it there...hope it all works out with weather for you

Pam, how many kiddoes today?

Well, unfortunately, I'm off to work, will be back later. The office manager is still away  so one more day of solitude.

Forget coffee, i need chocolate

Tuesday, all day; spent last night with the youngest two verbally duking it out...who sez girls are the means ones:rolleyes1

ocm - you've got cutie-pies 'fer sure:thumbsup2

pam - i must of missed the Disney in May post:scared1: :cool1: if you don't commando @ WDW you're sunk imo...we hit it hard & early; back @ the pool by 1 or 2 pm;) getting ready for the evening assult.

What irritates me about the glasses (most) is that i did get the no line bifocals - set to intermediate; refused trifocals -again lol. I find what they term "reading" to be useless aka 6 inches from my face; don't know anyone who holds material that close:confused3 . Have tried both Rx reading glasses (seem to work the best) & lined & noline bifocals in the past w/o success. Yet, they talked me into them again & added in extra bonus for another astigmitism issue.popcorn:: I'm going Friday to specialist to get my eyes laser mapped as opposed to visual field test:confused: continual high pressure & eye randomly curving due to pressure on optical nerve/cervical issue. They say jump, i say how high.:hourglass

or as DH sez - blonde in one eye, can't see outta the other!

LOL...never thought of it that way, but I'm gonna say I must be blonde in one, blind in the other also...:lmao: Hope you get the specs figured out, nothing worse than not being able to see correctly. I wear contacts for distance, so when wearing those, I just use the Wal-Mart reading glasses for close up stuff, and wear "real" glasses at home most of the time. It's heck to not be able to see without glasses...I'd try the surgery, but really can't afford it, so there.....LOL

Chocolate, did someone mentioin chocolate????? ;) A friend I met out in California on my soap weekend, well, she sent me a pound of chocolates from a candy place out there called Sees.......oh my stinkin gosh, that stuff is some good stuff.....yep, dined on almost the whole thing by myself....now this week it's back to rabbit food and fruit  :upsidedow

morning all!:surfweb:

mic--i have 9 kids here today. Thursday will be my big day...not sure how many i am going to have yet BUT i know i have atleast 2 drop ins.

ks--i don't know if i posted anything about may yet. Wasn't sure it was going to be in may...not totally sure yet either i guess. Trent has an opportunity to go to Boston for his class trip but with it costing over $1200 for 3 days not sure he is going to do it. I was thinking about going along but it would cost me over $1400 for 3 days. I told Trent that i would go to the meeting and make a decision there. The thing is...the days they go to Boston are the days we want to leave to go to FL....it's always something. My kids were fighting last night too....i just sent them to bed:rolleyes:

ocm--the kids are getting big! too cute!!!

tony--glad your back!

mac--when does mr. mac come back?

I guess i have to go and get something done:sad2:

"all i want for christmas is my two front teeth"
is the song i started singing when i saw sweets son's picture.

all of them are cuties.

pam, mr mac comes back from canada on saturday.
that leaves me plenty of time to clean the house before he comes back....

skipped work again today.
it's just not in the cards.

tony, when is sweets coming down to florida?
i had wanted to contact you and see you when i go there this month. 20 days from now.

maybe i'll get lucky and get to see all of you.

skipped work again today.
it's just not in the cards.

.

Who's your reader?;)

Madame Leota (from the HM) sez she see's a trip to the motherland in your future:banana:

I'm not seeing anything right now; but red. Dr. wasn't in today:rolleyes1 ; have to trek back out tomorrow:mad: . They say they don't to remake them until he re-checks his original findings.

pam - that's a pricey class trip.:scared: my youngest is hoping his German teacher will restart the overseas program...don't even want to think about it based on your quote.

mic - i've heard great things about Sees chocolate...course i'm happy with a reeses cup.

pricey??? I KNOW!! 3 days??? OUCH!!! LOL

i can't believe there hasn't been anyone here since this a.m.!!:confused3 I am disappointed.

where is ed????:sad1:

Mic - I have had that chocolate before..YUM!! I say if you have to eat..pick the chocolate and skip dinner. That way, you are saving calories:thumbsup2

Pam - I have not been able to get back on the phone. I will try to call you this weekend, on Sunday, since Sat we start soccer games and Julie's bday. Sunday the Redskins are on, but I will try to call once the kids are in bed.

Ed - we miss you. Don't forget if you have any picks, the NFL starts Thursday!!

Mac - I can't blame you for skipping work. I would like to do that too.

Keisha - I would be mad too about the Dr not being in. You should have asked what golf course he was on and followed him from one hole to the next until he checked you out.

Gant - Are you in any football pools this year? The Saints play tomorrow night.

TVT - hope you are able to get some sleep.

I am going to try to get back here more often. Samantha had a bad allergic reaction to fire ants that she was bitten by last night and Julie had a fever of 103 when she went to bed last night. Poor Julie was suppose to have the cupcakes at her school today for her bday and she was suppose to have her first soccer practice tonight. All she wants to do is lay on the couch and sleep. Poor thing.

first time i have been able to connect to the dis......

i received my birthday gift certificate in the mail today.
thank you all very much. i appreciate your kindness.

i recieved the disney gc which will really help me out when i go there later this month.
everytime i use it, i'll think of you all and the kindness you have given me.

hopefully, i might take one son to the drive in tonight.
i try to get him out of the house once a week.
i'll be back later.
hopefully won't have any problems in trying to post

ocm--i won't be home this weekend...we are going to kansas city to the yankee/royal game:cool1: Not sure when we will get home on sunday...i will probably be around in the evening.

sticks to have sick kids:sad1: noah is home sick today too. Well, they are out now because of wacky wednesday so he didn't miss to much today.

mac--you are welcome! Hope you enjoy it....have fun at the movies tonight.

Hi all....I couldn't get on the board earlier today, and this is the first chance I've had to even try......blame in on the Dis:goodvibes

Oh my yes Momma, I would rather have a dinner of several good chocolates than other stuff :thumbsup2 The pound of sweets is gone though, so don't have to worry 'bout disposing of them

Almost time to go home...and it has been a day for sure......I needed to leave this joint about 3 hrs. ago

Mac, enjoy your gc.......buy something nice just for you, it's an "all about me gc".....those are the bestest
