Tempura Kiku

Any reviews on this place? I don't think I've read of anyone eating here. Looking to make an adr for lunch, but not sure.... Can anyone comment on the food and the atmosphere of this restaurant? Thanks!

Yum! It's a favorite of my 16 yo DS & mine. He goes for the sushi & I go for the Tempura Veggies. We both love the soup & salad. We usually eat lunch there at least once per trip.
Last I knew, there were no ADRs for this restaurant. You can eat the same menu at Matsanoma Lounge next door. We go & take which ever comes first. Last April during Spring Break, we only waited about 10-15 minutes.

We love Tempura Kiku and ate there twice last month. We usually prefer to sit in the lounge at a table rather than in the restaurant sitting side by side. Friendly service and good tempura and sushi.

it's set up like a sushi bar, it is TINY. the sushi is good but if you love sushi, skip tempura kiku and eat at Kimonos in the Swan. their sushi is outstanding!!!! (although not sure they are open for lunch?)

I had a look at the menu and it looks good. What size are the portions? I wouldn't really know what to order.

For example, if I ordered the chicken tempura - tori - would I need to order one of the accompaniments as well? I wouldn't want to make a fool of myself .
