I just got a deal on airfar for August - $300 R/T!!! :woohoo:  :yay: :cheer2:
:dance3: Great news!
They are predicting a big snow storm here for tomorrow morning. Between 5 and 8 inches of snow!
It's about 70 here.
Welcome back!
You were asking opinions on the resort stay a while back. If GF is where you've always wanted to stay, I would stay there. BUT if you are torn, I might would choose Yacht & Beach club because it is walking distance to Epcot - your fave park!:thumbsup2
Also has a great pool if you are going to swim.
got to see both my kids, all my reading class, and my future DIL. :rotfl:

It cracks me up, though. She came running up, gave me a big hug, snuggled up to me, etc. My own children wouldn't speak to me. :lmao: They were all really cute, though.

My mom & dad called this morning and so I opened my presents from them whilst they were on the phone. I got a new windbreaker to replace my "perfect" one (the right weight, amount of pockets, hooded, etc.) that I bought to go to Mardi Gras 1994, which is now really falling apart. ;) Also, a hot glue gun and some money! Woohoo! My SIL gave me a box set of Friends (season 3) and that's nice, too.

:lmao: on the future DIL.You got some nice gifts. Money is dh's favorite gift. He says it is the perfect gift for him because it is his favorite color and it always fits.:rotfl2:

Sounds like you are having a nice day!

So yesterday I told KC that next Feb for our 5 year anniv we are going to WDW to relive our honeymoon. We are going to stay at POFQ and spend only a few days in the parks and more time relaxing. I told him just to say yes for now, that he has a year to argue with me. :rotfl: :confused3 I need a trip to plan, ya know.

I like the way you think!:yay:

Hi all. Sicker than I was this morning:sick: . I think I have a fever now:sad2: . Getting ready to go home and sleep (hopefully). I will try to check back later.
Oh dear, I hope you feel better soon, Janet!
BTW, I put you and Andy on my What are you celebrating? thingie through the DVC website. I went with "Reunion" as my theme and it had an area to add two more names that aren't part of my traveling party, so I threw you in there. It didn't want anything else for you, so it'll probably amount to nothing, but worth a shot, lol!
What? No Reunion Mickey Ears? ;)

I did all my laundry this morning and picked up the house. I just got home from the grocery store (which was a mob scene because of the storm coming) and put all the food away. Let it snow!
Good girl, Mel. BTW, my Blueberry coffee cake came out YUCK! :headache: Andy said it tasted like corn bread with blueberries in it. :scared: :lmao: No more baking for me. I think it was the whole grain flour that did it.
Hi Jo! :wave2:

I got to see my new nephew, he's such a good boy, literally ate, smiled, slept, ate, smiled slept :rotfl: He's so good!
No pooping?

Not so good is my Nanny who is 89 tomorrow, she has decided that she doesn't want to wash anymore or change her clothes so she stinks of wee, gross, it literally was eye watering but she won't do anything :( Anyway it's making my Mum even more annoyed than normal so made for a fun trip :rotfl:
Poor Nanny - my grandmother got like that eventually. We told her we were going to put her in a home if she didn't take a shower. It worked for awhile.
:confused3

So, it's been a really nice day. :cloud9: The only downside is that it's cold, is 25, but is SUPER windy, so that the wind chill is 12. Brrr! But, aside from walking in parking lots, I've not had to be out much, so it's no big deal.

I'll likely be back later. I think I'm going to veg/read a little, then we'll go to Target once the kids get back, then it will probably be dinner and movie time. I hope you all have a great end of the week afternoon. :grouphug:

Did you get my text? If not:

:cake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY CE!!!
:cake:

I was so thrilled to hear that lovely sweet voice. :goodvibes Thank you, Jo, it really meant a lot.
You're welcome

It cracks me up, though. She came running up, gave me a big hug, snuggled up to me, etc. My own children wouldn't speak to me. :lmao: They were all really cute, though.
Awww so sweet, so who's GF is she Buzz or Woody? :rotfl2: Glad you're having a nice birthday!

AAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Why, why, why do people wait until Friday flipping afternoon to interject their ideas on a project due by 5pm when they've had all week to do so???!!!!

Not happy.
Oh no

I've booked the GF, even though I was torn I knew that I'd never spend the amount of $ needed at the GF whereas BC is cheaper so I could do that another time, also I think I want to save BC for a summer trip one year so we can get the most from the pool. Thanks for your opinions :goodvibes

David got back from Glasgow in one piece :rotfl:

Bummer! I have a great recipe for blueberry cake if you want it. It DOES NOT taste like corn bread with blueberries....LOL. Unless you've totally given up on the baking....

David got back from Glasgow in one piece :rotfl:
Thank goodness! Many pieces of David would be far less fun than ONE piece.....LOL.

She says she wants to go in a home  she doesn't like the cost though about $800 a week :faint: :rotfl2:

Sorry about your nanny. Holy Cow! That's alot of money. Showering would be cheaper. ;)

**************
Planning on ordering pizza for dinner and watching a movie with Bob and the boys. Nice, calm evening here. I am so happy! :lovestruc

MEL:banana:

Welcome back Jo! Glad you had a good time visiting your family and your little nephew.

I understand about your grandmother, mine is getting to that point. She is 85 now and just does not feel motivated to go about the daily business of life anymore, she has been getting worse ever since grandpa died in May. She just got out of the hospital (she was put in as she was not eating enough and was very weak) and my dad has moved her in with him as she can no longer live on her own. She wasn't really on her own before as my aunt lived right next door to her but she now needs constant supervision and they did not want to put her in a nursing home.

:cake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY CE!!!!:cake:

I'm glad you had fun; can't wait to hear about your trip especially the hotel portion. Oh and I know at least 9000 kids are out of school in our county. I'm curious about the crowd levels for the last week of Feb and 1st week of March.

:teeth: Soon
I think I may have seen 4000 of those kids....maybe more.
I'll let you know. I have a friend going this weekend and another going the 1st weekend of March.

Yes, but it really, really sucks, in my opinion, to therefore then be in school until June 24th. I'd rather have the one week and be done before Father's Day.

True. They should change it. :rolleyes1

So hand over the biggest idiot award, I royally screwed up last night.

 Don't knock yourself out over it. They know it wasn't done on purpose, so if they're not mad, you shouldn't worry yourself about it either. I like the doing something nice for the other people idea though.

Meh - I've never been real thrilled with Kona. I like the crab cakes and salad and that's about it. I am all over Ohana, though. Leo's still enthused by the dinner activities, so I want to milk that as long as I can! :goodvibes

I'm thinking maybe a meal at EP?

 But the prime rib is sooooo yummy! I do like O'hana though too.

mine.....it's becoming a ho house

:rotfl2:

I'll be working tomorrow night until Monday.
I have to get my chest smashed tomorrow afternoon.

Ouch, what does that mean? Hope Doug's appt goes well. :wizard:

Nothing exciting this weekend, work as usual. :sad1:

I don't know how long I am going to last here becasue I apparently I have caught the Focker germs:headache:

  Feel better soon Janet!

The assistant is from Orlando and a huge Disney fan. She loved it. When the doctor came in the room she said, "I understand I have a pirate princess in here." And Baby Girl said, "Yep, that's me." :rotfl2:

 Cute story.

Welcome home Jo. :goodvibes

AAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Why, why, why do people wait until Friday flipping afternoon to interject their ideas on a project due by 5pm when they've had all week to do so???!!!!

Not happy.

My eternal answer to much: Because they're stupid.

Hi to everyone else I missed :wave2:

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Well nothing new. Was gonna to the mini TR, but I spent too much time catching up. :guilty: I did load pics though!

Gotta get ready for work now.

So is it too early to start taking bets to see if we close up this thread by the end of the weekend? popcorn::

Be good!

Well, school was fun. I did my reading, then quick ran to the store to pick up a few things. I went back to the Fitness Fundraiser and got to see both my kids, all my reading class, and my future DIL. :rotfl:

It cracks me up, though. She came running up, gave me a big hug, snuggled up to me, etc. My own children wouldn't speak to me. :lmao: They were all really cute, though.

Woohoo! My SIL gave me a box set of Friends (season 3) and that's nice, too.

Jo called next :goodvibes and then D (but as he's two hours behind, I don't mind that he wasn't earlier...) Then I went to school. I meant to go to Target after volunteering, but I forgot until I was nearly pulling into the driveway, and it was way out of the way by then, and I was hungry. I think I'll just take the boys before we get a pizza - they'll be happy to get to go, anyway. :thumbsup2

So, it's been a really nice day. :cloud9: The only downside is that it's cold, is 25, but is SUPER windy, so that the wind chill is 12. Brrr! But, aside from walking in parking lots, I've not had to be out much, so it's no big deal.

Happy birthday!
Hello everyone!

Here's some    for all the sickies and unhappies.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope it's a great one!

We had a nice calm morning. We had breakfast together (cereal and coffee) and are relaxing watching some DVR-ed shows. KC goes into work at 2 and I am going to head to the city around 5 to use the rest of my Barnes and Noble gift card before going to keep KC company at work (he's covering until midnight).

Anyways I'm off to shower...have a great Friday!
Sounds good to me. :) Glad you liked Rent.
