And my boys have BEAUTIFUL manners....

MEL:thumbsup2

Because you'r a Good Mom and Second.. since they are your kids.. YOU MIGHT THRASH THEM IF THEY ARE BAD.

Here's for the Phone Consult today :hug:

I'm behind too Mel... I figure IF it's something I HAVE TO KNOW.. It will still be rolling around and I'll catch a "quote" somewhere.

WHEN I CAN GET TO IT.. I am busier than a 1 armed mom with septuplets.
:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Good morning Fockers! We are off for the 2nd day of first grade, then Tink has her first Dance class at her new dance studio and I am hopeful to get Costco in and vacuuming of the first level of my house. Tomorrow is Tinks first day of school and I get to work in my DS's class whilst she is there.
Fun! Dance class!! :dance3: We start dance this week too, but C was sad that her class is on Mondays and they had a holiday this week. :rolleyes:

Good Luck today Dawn and K! :hug:
Thanks! :goodvibes

That's what I call my Pap smear. But I guess you really mean boiler.
:rotfl2: I can always count on you for a good laugh! Thank you!!! :goodvibes

I'm just stopping in before heading to my chiro appointment at 9:45. Dropped off DD4 at preschool and she was never so happy to go to school!

I'll be back after chiro, vet and DMV (sounds like a great morning, huh?). My house is a disaster and I figure as long as I'm feeling good, I should probably clean it up. Garbage pick up is tomorrow, so it's a good time to go through stuff and clean it up. It's like I'm nesting.....but definitely not pregnant -- although my DH did call my cyst "Junior" over the weekend! :rotfl:
Don't overdo it, Jodi! :hug:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, we're doing school this morning. Then my plan is to leave by 11:30ish for lunch. We're going to get lunch and haircuts. I need to go to the library and to pick up my Rx too. I may do a playdate with my buddy to waste more time too.
K's going to get home a bit after me so the kids won't see him and want to stay here. Then he promised he'd get the plates and a description down and ask for i.d. and call the police and let them handle it if anything happens.
We also have registration for C's drama class. I'm excited about that since none of my kids have ever done drama before. :yay:
I'll check in before I leave and after I get back tonight. have a fun day, but not too much with out me! ;)
Since we have "Ventured" down "THAT" Road.
Mamogram Exercises
Many women are afraid of their first mammogram, and even if they have had them before, there is fear, but there is no need to worry. By taking a few minutes each day for a week preceding the exam and doing the following practice exercises, you will be totally prepared for the test, and best of all, you can do these simple practice exercises right in your home.
EXERCISE 1:
Open your refrigerator door, and insert one breast between the door and the main box.
Have one of your strongest friends slam the door shut as hard as possible and lean on the door for good measure.
Hold that position for five seconds.
Repeat in case the first time wasn't effective.. or IF YOU have... Larger than a "C" Cup, an ddid not get it all in the FIRST Time.
EXERCISE 2:
Visit your garage at 3 a.m. when the temperature of the cement floor is just perfect.
Take off all your clothes and lie comfortably on the floor sideways with one breast wedged under the rear tire of the car.
Ask a friend to slowly back the car up until your breast is sufficiently flattened and chilled.
Switch sides, and repeat for the other breast.
EXERCISE 3:
Freeze two metal bookends overnight.
Strip to the waist.
Invite a stranger into the room Have the stranger press the bookends against either side of one of your breasts and smash the bookends together as hard as he/she can.
Set an appointment with the stranger to meet next year to do it again.
You are now properly prepared!
:rotfl: I assume this is the one time having National Geographic b00bs is going to be a plus. :rotfl2:
I won $50 on a scratch ticket at work! :banana: it was a $10 ticket. I`ve never bought a $10 ticket before...I left Steve the $10 and am going to put the 40 away for the Trip in October..
WAHOO:banana: :banana:
I think after he gets a new job he should just go to the bathroom over and over one day and just annoyed the "carp" out of them. :rotfl2:
REally what will they do...fire him:rotfl2:
Going to bed! Good night..I have a cat crying somewhere and I cant figure out where she is! Its mine,,,shes 17 a little white thing (Sally)...shes gone deaf in the last year. But we forget and call her all the time! :rotfl2: gotta go find the old bat!!
Poor Kitty, hope you found her:goodvibes
Been for a nice walk this morning, then I vacuumed and dusted downstairs, the girls have gone back to school so I can finally get this house a bit cleaner! Got a pile of ironing to do this afternoon!
What, no golf?:confused3 ;)
Katt if you don't go to my TR soon well I'm gonna, errrrr, I'm gonna phone you, yes that's right I'm going to phone you at 9am every morning till you read it, that's my 9am not yours, bwahaaahaaahaaaaa :rotfl:
Ooohhhhhhhhhhh, Katt's been threatened by the Brit!;)
Good Morning Fockers!
Dropped Linds off at Kindy about 45 minutes ago. DR has preschool this afternoon and I have about 2 hours to myself. I've already gotten the dishwasher loaded, a load of clothes in the washer and dryer and cleaned the family room. I'm torn on what I want to do with my afternoon though...relax in the 2 hours and play online or go to the grocery store by myself. I'm thinking the grocery store because we deseperately need a good stocking up! LOL
Anyways, have a good day and I'll be back on later! :)
Hi Lori :wave2:
In other news, Leo wants to go to Dinosaur World. Badly. He asks every time we pass it on I-4 between home and WDW. :headache: I think he has undeliverable expectations of the place - he seems to think it'll be a lot like Jurassic Park. In the movie. :eek:
This, form the child who won't set foot on the Dinosaur! ride at AK. :rolleyes:
Let me know if you do this and let me know how it is. SOunds like something Jimmy would like.
You laugh but Jimmy LOVED Dinosaur at AK, but didn't want to ride BTMRR again becasue of the bats:confused:
That's what I call my Pap smear. But I guess you really mean boiler.
Good Morning Fockers!!
:lmao:
The TOTAL Yearly Package Thingie....
"That's Having your "Tires" Rotated and "Check under the Hood";)
:rotfl:
Later on, Bob says, "Wow, she's got the manners of a construction worker." Nice. Yep.
The thing is nnow that I have met him I can so picture this coming out of his mouth:lmao:
Since we have "Ventured" down "THAT" Road.
Good Morning FOckers. Have been up and on the go since 7. Had to take JIm's car in service and then drive him to work, got back here about 9. Jimmy and his friend Matt are playing. We then have to pick his car up, come home and I have to go to the party store to get the last minute stuff for Jimmy's Party, Where's Ed, I need a drink :faint:
Man, I'm tired just reading all of that! :faint:
Go a lot on my mind and my leg is still sore... forgot myself and ran across the street this morning to do something for Sarabeth as the bus was coming.. and stretched that muscle again.:scared:
Oh, no! Feel better soon. :hug:
DD4's first day of preschool.
I hope she has a good day! :thumbsup2
I'm thinking the grocery store because we deseperately need a good stocking up! LOL
I hate going to the grocery store. :headache: I love eating, but not shopping! :rolleyes:
So I started doing some sketches for my Studio Art class...
NOT good. :guilty:
Really, I suck. Which doesn't surprise me - there's a reason why I'm an Art History major and not a Fine Arts major! :rotfl:
The first week of college, thinking I would be an interior decorator, I was told to go downtown and draw a building. :scared1: I can't draw, at all! Apparently I was in interior design, so I changed schools. :rolleyes:
This, form the child who won't set foot on the Dinosaur! ride at AK. :rolleyes:
:drinking1 What time should I be over? I wouldn't want you to drink alone. :thumbsup2
The news is trying to scare people by saying that tropical storm Hanna might turn towards us, even though the cone doesn't really show it hitting Miami :headache:. I hate the news during Hurricane season. :mad:
Ike is looking skeery though and right behind that is Josephine... :scared:
DD8 just pointed out to me that Ike is Josephine's husband. I gave her a funny look and she said, "you know, from Lemony Snicket." How ironic is that?
Well, I can report that getting my plates renewed at the DMV only took me 3 minutes! YAY!!!! :cool1:
So, I'm home now until I have to pick DD4 up at 1pm. Don't worry, Dawn, I won't overdo it, but I do need to pick up my house a bit.
Don't get too chatty on me ladies! Be back later!
BTW, Katt, I loved the mammogram prep guide. I had one of those in May and luckily, it wasn't too bad.
BUT.. NOW that you are FREE you see NO NEED to go ANYWHERE:rotfl2:
::yes:: I'm feeling lazy today. :rotfl:
That's what I call my Pap smear. But I guess you really mean boiler.
Yep. I call what you're talking about the "Poke and Prod." ;)
Sometimes it's just good to get things in order before you will be away/gone/recovering. :hug:
Anytime, CE! Don't feel bad. I know excactly what you mean. That's why we pretty much avoid doing things with people that don't have the same "schedule dedication" that we do. It's too frustrating!
This is really one of my best friends - I should have just said, "Yes, we would love to come, but we need to leave by 5:00," right from the start. But I didn't, and then what do you do? :confused: ;)
Your brother is CUTE, CE! He's got that Geek Chic thing goin' on!
Thanks, but it's D's brother. I'm really fond of him. :goodvibes
I'm just grasping at annoyances but omg.
I'm sorry. :hug: I do this with my MILs. They irritate me in general, so even the little things just start to pile up...
So, we're doing school this morning. Then my plan is to leave by 11:30ish for lunch. We're going to get lunch and haircuts. I need to go to the library and to pick up my Rx too. I may do a playdate with my buddy to waste more time too.
Wow, busy day - and definitely let us know what goes down! popcorn::
Good Morning Fockers!!
I am trying to learn how to keep up with everyone, wish me luck!!
I have been working on our door today. Bill, my significant other, has Cerebral Palsy and is in a power wheelchair. We have a contraption attached to the door, he has a button on his wheelchair so he can get in and out of the apartment.
See, I think he shouldn't be allowed outside without me, but for some reason he prefers to be independent :lmao:. Well the door decided to have a nervous breakdown in two places last week, so I got to get out screwdrivers and wrenches to work on it :yay:!! One part fixed most of the problem. The other, not so much. I think his dad is going to have to do surgery on the door frame, not my area of expertise. I will discuss it when we meet them in the Smokey Mountains next week.
I want to ask everyone a question. I am having a serious problem with getting excited to go to Bill's parents new vacation house. I keep counting the days to Disney, I am feeling like this trip interferes with my DISing, Enchanting, and redoing all my ADR's before we leave :rotfl:. What can I do to put Disney in the back of my mind and just enjoy next week? HELP!!
So, I have a few hours of work this afternoon. But, this morning I am going to go get my hair cut and "highlighted"...(READ covering up the premature grey).
I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL day.
Glad to see you over here Tracy! :wave: It sounds like Bill's doing well too.
That's what I'm doing tomorrow. I'm thinking more red and shorter. Not that I have a style in mind but I've been wearing my hair up a lot so I guess that means it needs to be shorter. :thumbsup2
Booooo. My stylist called and flipped me till tomorrow. I guess my grey will have to wait another day. :sad2:
I need HELP!!!
I was convinced by a friend to join Facebook... but I'm lost there! Any Facebook users here? What's the protocol - do you just try adding friends willy-nilly, or do you need to have a IRL relationship first?? See, there are a bunch of people I used to know well on there, but I can't see pics, etc. unless they're "friends." But, not having talked to them for 20ish years, it seems a bit awkward to just send a request to be my "friend."
How does it all work? Am I letting my fear of rejection ruin my Facebook career?! :rotfl:
