So we have been home 5 days and I have started planning next years trip. Jim says I need psychological help DO I fockers, do I need to call for medical attention

We are looking at pretty much the same time next year (August 18th - 28th). We are thinking of staying at All Star Movies instead of Pop for a change. Who has stayed there, what is the transportation like? The buses are what scare me the most because all 3 resorts share one bus, no? Help me Fockers!

We're staying one night at ASMovies in October and I'll let you know what I think, Janet. But, we'll have a car and might not even go to a park from that resort, so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to share.

Just got back from picking up the little one and stopping by the grocery. And I'm tired. Guess the waking up at 4:45 this morning is catching up to me. So, I'm going to go lie down a bit. Be back later to catch up on everyone's TRs. Don't get too chatty without me!

I was convinced by a friend to join Facebook... but I'm lost there! Any Facebook users here? What's the protocol - do you just try adding friends willy-nilly, or do you need to have a IRL relationship first?? See, there are a bunch of people I used to know well on there, but I can't see pics, etc. unless they're "friends." But, not having talked to them for 20ish years, it seems a bit awkward to just send a request to be my "friend."

I say go ahead and request them as a friend, that is one of the primary functions of Facebook, to connect with old friends.

I passed it for the first time this trip, and H seems to want to go there too (shes 9). It looked ok. I think at night they looked CREEPY sticking out of the shurbs and trees. Eek.

I am new to facebook as well. It is kinda annoying that u cant see others profile's until u are friends. I say just add them as a friend and see what happens. I found a bunch of old high school friends there and just added them, if they or you want you can send a msg without being friend-ed. It's pretty neat actually once u get into it. If u need help lemme know!

I want to ask everyone a question. I am having a serious problem with getting excited to go to Bill's parents new vacation house. I keep counting the days to Disney, I am feeling like this trip interferes with my DISing, Enchanting, and redoing all my ADR's before we leave . What can I do to put Disney in the back of my mind and just enjoy next week? HELP!!

I had the same problem - a pesky family trip before the WDW one. I honestly just tried not to think of Disney too much whilst I was there - but then I had a bunch of stuff to do in a hurry when I got back. Good luck!

So, I have a few hours of work this afternoon. But, this morning I am going to go get my hair cut and "highlighted"...(READ covering up the premature grey).

I had joined My Space back a year or so ago, but I find Facebook MUCH easier to navigate.

I stayed at ASMo in 2000, with Dr. Belle, no kids.

We liked it a lot - got the Toy Story section. Of course, I hadn't been ANYWHERE else then. But I don't remember the bus being any worse than AKL.

If the weather stays nice I'm gonna go play tennis with the boyfriend.

OOOOH, did someone say "tennis"??? Have fun!

and I guess a shower would be good too .

Hi Girls! Popped in for a few before I need to head out and p/u my ds from his 2nd day of 1st grade.

Dance class was AWESOME! My little TINK was a superstar! She ran right in, hugged her dance teacher and told her she was ready to learn to tap, tap, tap. So darn cute! She currently only has 4 girls in her class, which is great! It seems like private lessons. The instructor did warn that we may get a few more as the fall continues.

I went and got a car wash and the blowers broke a piece off of my car. At least I was at the dealer, so they replaced the part right there.

Tonight I am doing another taste test study. I will make $40 for it. I love making MY OWN CASH!

Jodi- I missed that you were having issues with an ovarian cyst! That sucks! I have had a large golf ball sized one on my left side. OUCHIE! Take it easy. I was lucky (or not) that mine slowly leaked away...but the leak hurt!! You should get some rest and take it easy!

Jo can't go next year. I'm not sure what T's up to - I thought she was doing Oct. but it may have changed. But Janet usually has to go in Aug. because her DH is a teacher, so that's their long vacation. But she might do a long weekend in Oct.

I think there may be a few fests, in the long run!

I'm waiting home because they are supposed to be coming to do my annual boiler check and tune up, but it was just "morning" - no specific time.

The first week of college, thinking I would be an interior decorator, I was told to go downtown and draw a building. I can't draw, at all! Apparently I was in interior design, so I changed schools.

I am trying to learn how to keep up with everyone, wish me luck!!

This is a quick post.

Things went all to H E Double Hockey Sticks today.

SD called me from school at 11 am. He said he "couldn't sit in the desk." I don't know! I asked him if he was panicking and he said a little could I just hurry up and get him? OMG. So, I drove over there and on the way he called again. He said that if I talked to the admin. he could just leave and I wouldn't have to go inside. So she got on the phone, poor lady. I cried. I told her I didn't know what to do, it was early days for us in this yet. We don't have an IEP or anything like it. What do we do? ! ? I can't have him coming home every day, he'll flunk out of 10th grade!

She sent him outside and then told me that they have around 200 kids in the building with similar and not so similar issues!!!! That I should call back when he's busy or in another room or go outside and talk to the counsellors and the social worker there and they will make sure all his teachers know, that he has a "safe spot" to go to relax if he has issues and that he will be able to stay on campus but still get the help he needs as their goal is to make sure he SUCCEEDS! THANK GOD. That made me feel way better but now I have alot to do. And I have a call in to his Psychologist so we can decide what to do, if anything.

He's fine now. I want to take him back but he says, NO. Tomorrow.

I loved POR. We stayed at the back and had to walk a bit to get to the dining area, but it was manageable. Plus, the bus stop was so close and not crowded at all.

If the weather stays nice I'm gonna go play tennis with the boyfriend.
