We got a bit rained on while shopping but manged to spend a good amount of $$ anyway. We both got new pillows, a new toilet seat(very exciting I know), Some misc household carp from the drug store, cat food and I got to go to Lane Bryant. I bought 2 new bras (buy 1 get one 1/2 off) and I got 5 new pairs on undies for the trip. I even had a coupon to get $25 off of $75 or more, so the whole thing cost me $54. Then when I was on the line they had discount undies for 5 for $15 (out of season colors) so I HAD to do that too (one's even lime green- TMI, I know!). Then since KC felt left out he bought some used game at the video game store. We got some lunch and are now watching "Fame"- remember that movie! Great stuff.

Kids and I had General Tso's, sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice and fortune cookies. I even made a pot of tea and got out my little tea cups. The lady at the Chinese place even gave us placemats with the Zodiac on them for our table!

It was fun! Thanks for the idea Kate. DVR'ing the Olympics. Bob is HOME!!!!! YAY!!!!!!

I'm home. The short version is: It didn't matter too much about the drop mess up. The pressure is still 25 even on the new drop. He added ANOTHER drop and told me to have fun in Disney. I go back on Aug. 28th. I am sure I'm only on the drops till then so he could postpone the surgery.

Don't despair though, Fockers. All your prayers and wishes did do some good. I am totally at peace with this. I'm sure that's all because of you guys! Thanks.....it's amazing what the love and support of 2 dozen wonderful women will do for you. I'll deal with it when I get home from FF. Until then, I'm going to live my life.

Well, I had my quotes all set to go and lost it all.

No clue, now. I opened some wine earlier, and it (the quotes, not the wine ) is all gone now...

And that's all I've got.

I got a large bit of cleaning done earlier, but I'm not done. The office and guest room and dining room are done, though, as well as the toilets. I still need to do counters and floors, but it's not so bad.

I'm only laughing because it isn't me.

I'm glad to entertain you. If it wasn't so foul, I probably would have laughed a bit too.

Jon and I napped together this afternoon. He is beginning to feel a bit better. But...he has roid rage. Steroids make him VERY moody and emotional. So, we've had crying and attitude...and I had to threaten him within an inch of his life. My sweet boy always does this on steroids. And...this is the kicker...I feel like shnike. I am getting sick. WTH does a woman have to do around here to just be healthy and happy???

We're settling down until the illness leaves our household. I'm making fajitas tonight and my brother, sister-in-law, and my nieces are coming over to watch the opening ceremonies tonight. I warned them we're sick...but they like the offer of free food too much.

Feel better and have fun tonight.

Today my "Baby Baby" turned 10. So it's busy. We had dinner at "Outback" as she gets to pick a restaurant for a birthday meal.

Her Big Gift was an i-pod. I have spent the last 3 days slipping into my office to download some songs into it so she could use it immediately.
I think it is now Permanently Attached to her.

I THINK I did a Miracle today... I made her Cry.. Not in any of the USUAL WAYS us Mom's can accomplish this.. but by writing her a Poem.. much like the poems my Mom used to write to and and about me.

Kat- I forgot to answer you earlier about SYTYCD...
I was happy with the results. I liked all four of them. I thought Katie was the best dancer technically, but I loved Twitch's & Joshua's personalities. It's really amazing what they were able to do being untrained.

I loved watching the best routines over again. I can't wait until the tour now!!!

K's home now and he's playing legos with C & A, so I'm chilling out. I'm thinking about taking a nice hot bath and reading for a while.
I'm recording the Opening Ceremonies since B is gone tonight. I wish we had a decent place for Chinese food. It's all nasty here.

I would like a trophy, please, Katt. I got the house cleaned, got groceries, did school with the kids, and served the kids a hot lunch made at home. now we can chill the rest of the day (after I take B to the party) and go to visit mom whenever we want tomorrow. I'm glad it's all done.

I just started the 4th book in the Dead End Dating Series by kimberly Raye "Just One Bite". A cute series. When I get home I'm goign to read the Queen Betsy series!

I have already worked with the designer (someone from the DIS) at length. Now what am I supposed to do??? He is in major freak out mode on me. Major! Yet it is okay for him to spend what ever HE wants to spend, WHEN ever HE wants too.

Just a drive-by post. I'm trying to keep up, but we've been pretty busy the past few days. I'm going to an adult slumber party tonight (the ladies from our adult Sunday school class). Can't wait to get away from the kids for the night and have some fun with good friends!

I've got an extension lead and a bucket

Jon and I napped together this afternoon. He is beginning to feel a bit better. But...he has roid rage. Steroids make him VERY moody and emotional. Why can't I sleep? It's 4 days of waking for a baby, it's mucked up my sleep pattern!!!!!!!

Flat Rosie has been travelling, she went back to her Birth County of Suffolk

She checked out my Dad's pool first, it was a hot drive up there

She got into a bit of trouble and had to be rescued

The cheeky thing then pinched Jessica's bikini top!

The next day she went to the beach, she got buried in the sand, then relaxed on a towel!

A few days later she went to the most Easterly point of England It was very windy (that easterly wind is strong) so she had to be held down, she didn't want a dip in the North Sea

And finally she saw the largest wind turbine in the UK, I don't know how she contained her excitement

She's back in Kent now, waiting to go to WDW in a few days time, she is slightly worse for wear and a little covered in sand and had to have her shoulders cut off

Good Morning all. I got a phone call from my mom last night. My dad is back in the hospital. No idea what is going on, but if I could get some Focker prayers it would be greatly appreciated. All I know is he went in with chest pains. I hate being so far away
