Thanks for all the room compliments! We are really enjoying it (and it motivates me to keep working as the credit card bills come in!)

Ahem! That was me! :duck: ;)
Oh! Sorry! I thought it was Slate!
(still think it sounds kinda kinky, but I like it! :rotfl: )

I love it too! Is the TV working well for you? D is driving me absolutely insane messing with the color stuff all the time. :rotfl: I feel like I'm at the optometrist "Is this better? Or this?" ;)
I like it, but still need to adjust it some---Daran hasn't figured out the remotes yet---he just yells for somebody to come and fix it. The sound is kinda strange---I think it's supposed to be hooked up to speakers or something, and I still haven't got the DVD hooked up. :confused3

Here's the outfit deemed most appropriate for my SATC night with the girls...

With the RED bag. ;)
:thumbsup2 If I had your legs, I'd wear that everyday!

Screenname -- my maiden name is pronouced C.C. hence the jcc and 0621 is my birthday, yeahs it's real original::yes::
 Ah!! I understand now! Kinda thought it was random like CEs! :lmao:

I forgot to mention your new room TE!! Forgive me your supreme one! :worship:
Its really pretty..I love the country furniture! And the dog is adorable! :goodvibes

My 22 YO nephew tried to turn on my FIL new plasma t.v in the new sunroom today and screwed it up! :rotfl2: first no sound,,then just a blue screen, then a green screen,,,I think Dad called the cable Co to come fix it tomorrow! :rotfl:

Cute outfits CE!! :goodvibes

Mel!! your light is on but nobodys home!! :rotfl:

Thanks! :goodvibes

HEY! :headache: :rotfl:

Geez - I don't post on either board for a few days and there is so much drama I missed............

TE - love the furniture.

Talked to our furniture company and they said they ordered the correct chair/fabric, but the manufacturer sent them the wrong thing and had it barcoded with my stuff. They are going to look and see if they can find our chair. If they can't find it, they will have to make us a new one. Which means it will be another 6-8 weeks. DH is complaining that I should have just chosen the standard fabric. But I really like the way this fabric looks in my family room.

Friday afternoon, the tv made a loud boom and then started making this terrible sound. Now it will not turn on. We've only had this tv for 2 years and paid a lot for it. DH is ticked off. Well, we have had an issue with the tv since last Sept, where we have a shadow on the far left side of the screen. I found a forum about this tv having this issue, so I called Samsung and they said they will extend the warranty on the Light Tunnel, which is why the shadow is there. Someone told me that when the tv repair person fixes the light tunnel, it should fix the other problem of the noise and no picture. Hopefully it will all be taken care of under the warranty.

So --- we let Hamboy have a sleepover party for end of school. We let him invite 3 boys because I didn't think I could handle any more than that. They are 7, you know. So one of the boy's mom told me he was coming. I talked to her last Thursday at the class pool party. I asked her to bring her son over around 4pm. She said her other son has a baseball game on Sat and if they win, have to play Sun and doesn't know what time. She told me she would have to "play it by ear" and she would call me on Sunday. She never called and never came. The other 3 boys kept asking where he was and at 6pm I finally said, "I don't think he's coming." I was worried about the 3 of them playing together because sometimes 3 doesn't work - they tend to pair up. They played together great and it all worked out. I am ticked that the other mom did not call and I don't think we'll ever ask him over again. Is that harsh?

I just can't believe she didn't even bother to call. The last time the boys had a day off from school, I invited him to one of those jump places. She told me that was fine, but her oldest was sick and she had to take him to the dr and wanted to know if I could keep him until she got back from the dr. I offered to take his younger brother with us and keep them both the whole day. Last time I'll do that.

UGH! Sorry about that!

That stinks! What was she thinking???

Not harsh at all. You need to make plans, etc and you needed to know how may kids. I wouldn't invite him again either...but then again Jim says I'm a B&*^$.

Unbelievable:sad2:

What am I missing? What did you sign up for?

I'll PM you!

Been out of commish for the evening deal with major family drama.:furious:

Let me see here...

CE- Sounds like you got a lot of cleaning done. Are you ready for the playgroup? The clothes look very refreshing for Gay-Pari. I'd personally skip the croc flats. I would go for a few comfy sandals or ballet flats.

Mo- Beer and dawgs are for sure a more common middle America thing. Very good taste.::yes::

TE- Home makeover is going really well. It feels so refreshing to redo a room. Or in my case, just clean up all of the toys in a room.:woohoo:

Janet- You signed up. ::yes:: Yep. Hieroglyphics yet again.:bitelip:
BTW what a rockin siggy.

V- You can wear the tiara when your writers block is blocking your brain. I bet it is a great shot!

Phew...should I have missed anyone, I am sorry. Didn't mean too. Promise.:goodvibes

It's late, I'm tired but I had to tell my Fockers.....

I BOUGHT A NEW CAR TODAY!!! :woohoo:

I'm so glad to be rid of my gas guzzling mini van!! I'm so excited, but you will all have to wait until tomorrow to find out what kind. :lmao:

JUST KIDDING!!

They didn't have green, so I got midnight blue. :thumbsup2:

T: Cool Car! I am driving the 07 Pilot. I love Honda!! We are on our 7th and 8th (he drives an Odyssey)

Lessa and Janet: Love your siggies! sigh...edward.....

----------------

Well, N had a friend spend the night. Mary, I totally hear you on the mom not calling. Listen to this! The kid who spent the night last night lives down the street. His parents are WEIRD! He and N worked out that they wanted to have a sleepover during their long weekend. So, here it is, Saturday morning and we go to call this kid. His phone number is disconnected. Fine, but it's BEEN disconnected since last year when I called him (i remember this as we're calling him) Ok, so HOW do I get ahold of this kid? No one has his number. I don't think I've said more than 3 words to his mom. Never seen the dad. I finally send the boys down there with a note for her to call me and set this up!

I personally would NOT send my kids to a home for a sleepover without at LEAST speaking to the parents and visiting their home. :confused3 She had her son call me. She didn't even bother to call. I think some parents are just NUTS. :sad2: He's a nice little boy but I don't think I'll be encouraging them to spend alot of time together because I'm not comfortable at ALL with N being there!!!

So, Mary, not harsh at all. You gotta protect your babies!

----------

Today we are taking the boys (and friends) to see Prince Caspian. Then my oldest has a project to complete for Honors History. What are you guys doing? I'm not cleaning till tomorrow when eveyone is GONE again! :rotfl:

MEL:banana:

Janet

I'll second the nice addition to your siggie.::yes::

Oh.. but V is allowed to wear her's and post a picture :goodvibes
Hey.. You show your's I'll show mine :lmao: ( that really did not sound good did it?):rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Happy Tuesday! :goodvibes

After reading MizDiz and Mel's nonsense with other parents/friends, I thought I'd share our masquerade party outcome. My oldest son is friends with the girl who was turning 13. My middle is friendly with the girl who turned 10. Both girls have May birthdays, so the mom decided to combine the party this year. They get all dolled up and we go, only to have the ten year old girl not talk to my son AT ALL. :furious: She said nothing to him, all night. And the older girl only spoke to my oldest when it was time to leave. And the kicker is that the next day my children were making excuses for them..."Oh, they had so many people there that wanted their attention."

I'm livid.
