I don't know WTH (the H is "heck"....).....anyway, can't figure out totally what's going on....but I post some on both and have no problems. I'm not getting a lot of online time lately anyway, but I like to keep up with my friends.

So Murph (for those that don't realize Murph is my Mom) just called from Cancun. She had a really scary start to her trip. About 15 minutes after taking off the captain announced they had to turn around as there was a problem with the cabin pressure. As they approached the runway Murph counted at least 12 fire trucks lined up around the runway

They landed pretty rough and as it turned out when they shut the door before takeoff it didn't seal properly (you would think there would be a warning light, heck even my car has that) Anyhow, the landing was so rough on the brakes they couldn't take off for another hour because they had to wait for the brakes to cool.

Thankfully they got to Mexico safely and she is having a blast.

Glad she's ok, Mo. I can't believe how much Murph travels! Good for her!

Murph's flight does sound frightening, glad everything turned out okay. I had a scary plane experience once but we didn't even know about it until after the fact when we saw a bunch of ambulances and fire trucks waiting for us. It turns out that one of the tires/wheels on the plane blew or was damaged somehow when they lowered the landing gear. They said nothing to us until they had already managed to successfully land the plane. I guess it is a good thing they didn't tell us there may be a problem landing, there would a plane full of panicked people.

Hi all. The Great clothing exchange of 2008 is complete and was success. I have so many summer clothes for Jimmy that I think I could dress him in a different outfit everyday and not have to do laundry.

I missed slot it seems but here is what I remember.

You know what, when I read my post, it sounded rude. Sorry Mel, I hope you could read between the lines there. I didn't mean to point you out in particular.

Has anyone seen "Cloverfield"?? We watched it last night - I actually liked it! Except at the end, I did scream at the TV "NO WAY!!!!" I did have a little headache with all the camera panning and jumping around. Going to watch Juno today. I'm being open minded, as I have read a lot of negative stuff about it. Oh we also saw "The Golden Compass" on Friday - scared the crap outta my kids! They went upstairs about 15 mins in to it!

I did read between the lines. We're cool, Dude! No problemo.

I saw Cloverfield and I liked it too. I also YELLED at the TV when it was over. I didn't enjoy the bouncy camera work. I had to look away every once and a while to get my tummy settled.

I'm looking forward to hearing if you liked Juno. I thought it looked good. I was going to rent Golden Compass for my kids. They are older though, so maybe it won't scare them?
