How tall is ToT? Well, when we got stopped on GMR, the CM there told us how tall ToT is. I couldn't remember, but ds did. So he told the CM 199 feet.

Total geek moment, but do you know why it's not taller? Of course you all do! You know everything Disney. :smooth:

Jo, how lovely your friend was able to plan her funeral. Maybe that helped her family deal with it a little better. :hug:

CE, the boys are adorable.

S'late, those cluttered rooms would give me hives. Dust I can live with, clutter, no way.

I must be turning into my mother because those cluttered rooms were giving me a stomach ache.

OMG, me too Slate! That clutter! Holy Moses, who dusts all that???? :confused3

:rotfl2: Well you could say I'm out of work or I'm jobless or if you're really chavvy (our rednecks) you say I'm on the dole, to rhyme with coal not as in dole whip :rotfl2:

Um, Jo? That was very confusing. Dole whip and Coal DO rhyme....???
:lmao:

:lmao: Well...I'm just sayin'...:rolleyes1

Ha. Less Weiner.
:rotfl2:

Forgot to multi-quote MizDiz: :goodvibes Loved your mini-tri. My favorite ride is Barnstormer so you tell your kids I said "LUCKY!!!!

The girls also have dance pics tonight. That's three costumes, not one like last night. I'll take pics again. The packages are $49 each! With two girls and 4 costumes, that's way too much! Can't I just get one 5x7 and a few wallets?! Geez! :mad:
WOW, that's expensive:eek:

Then I'm going to dinner and a movie with my SIL and MIL tonight. I wasn't going to go, but my hubby told me I should, that I deserved a little fun this week. He's right. I'm excited to get out of the house and not think about things. :cutie:

Have fun:goodvibes

The funeral was lovely, I got through a ton of tissues and made sure I took my sunglasses with me :rotfl2: Her DD (11) was incredible, so brave and strong (just like her Mum was) I don't think she cried and she even lit a candle and placed on her coffin :sad1: The lady (Jodi 38 y/o) whos funeral it was had been battling cancer for several years, she had organised her own funeral and had written a book with messages to lots of people and a Mummy Manual for her DD as she gets older, some excerts (sp?) of these were read out and OMG they were so moving, lots more tissues were required :rotfl: She was buried in a beautiful spot underneath a tree and at least she's out of pain now!

:hug:

**I'm about to update my TR again too....:rolleyes1 **[/COLOR]

Read this afternoon:thumbsup2

Hopefully a one-timer. :hug:

I hope so hje has been doing great in school and really well with bedtime:thumbsup2 We need to get through 6 or so more weeks. His last day will be June 27th.

Here's the pic of them in their uniforms for the opening parade last Friday:

They look so cute CE:goodvibes

Hey all--home from work.
got my new stuff yesterday and it looks really nice---will look better when we get the new entertainment center and tables next week.

Pics pleasepopcorn::

That is some crazy stuff. All that clutter would make me nuts Disney themed or not:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Me too!

We planned on going to see Muppets. As we were walking, we passed a CM who had some pins and I asked ds if he wanted to ask the CM to see the pins. He said no, but the CM heard me and stopped. He chatted with us and I told him how we had to walk off GMR and that ds7 wanted to ride ToT, but wouldn't do it by himself. He chatted with us some more and then told ds that he would take him on ToT if he could answer a ToT question.
How tall is ToT? Well, when we got stopped on GMR, the CM there told us how tall ToT is. I couldn't remember, but ds did. So he told the CM 199 feet. We were between Indiana Jones and Star Tours and the CM walked us all the way over to ToT and took ds through the fast pass line. It made his day.

Awesome:thumbsup2

Baby Girl likes to pin trade, so I gave her 2 pins. She wants to trade with everyone. So once she gets a pin, she usually only has it a few minutes. Two different CMs gave her pins and did not make her trade. I thought that was nice. And we were walking through the Noodle Station and there were 2 CMs talking. I don't know why, but she just stopped in front of them and looked at them like she had a question. I told the CMs I had no idea why she stopped and we didn't need anything. One of them said, "I know why you stopped." And he gave her a Tinkerbell Year of a Million Dreams pin.

How cute:goodvibes

Another food change at MK - Casey's corner changed their hot dogs to the regular size ones. Mr Diz was not happy to hear this because he loved those foot long hot dogs at Casey's.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I cycled back, I wouldn't be abale to get their bikes in the back of the car :rotfl2: It was the choir masters birthday and as a treat he bought all the kids a choc ice (ice-cream bar covered in chocolate) so we ended up getting home much later than normal as they couldn't cycle and eat ice-cream at the same time :rotfl2:

Very nice of the teacher to buy the ice cream on his birthday:thumbsup2

I'm really just looking for Croc deals and these juicy threads keep finding me. :rolleyes:

Um, sure...I'll buy that:rolleyes1

OK...First...great on all of the pixie dust!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Second...Casey's did WHAT??? That was our meal. We shared a hot dog and some fries and a diet coke (very balanced). That was our THING. WTHeck did they go and do that for? Did they drop the price because you're getting less wiener?
Yep! My family could get 2 of those hotdogs. Mr Diz would eat 1 and the 3 of us would eat the other. Now it is about $5.89 for the regular size hotdog and you get fries or apple slices with it. We took the apple slices.
Total geek moment, but do you know why it's not taller? Of course you all do! You know everything Disney. :smooth:
Yes, but only because the CM told us. He also told us that EE is 199 1/2 feet.

OMG, me too Slate! That clutter! Holy Moses, who dusts all that???? :confused3

Forgot to multi-quote MizDiz: :goodvibes Loved your mini-tri. My favorite ride is Barnstormer so you tell your kids I said "LUCKY!!!!

MEL:banana:

On the clutter - yes, Me TOO! And people were commenting on how cool some of those rooms were that were just clutter. I should post some photos from my house.

Goofy's Barnstormer was fun. The first 3 times we rode it, we didn't even have to get out. There was no line so they just let us stay on. You don't get service like that at Universal. When we were there over Spring Break, we rode one of the kids rollercoasters and when the ride was over, there was no line. They told us we had to walk around.

Another Universal one - Mr Diz asked one of the employees where the restroom was. They told him he could look on the guidemap.

:rotfl2: Well you could say I'm out of work or I'm jobless or if you're really chavvy (our rednecks) you say I'm on the dole, to rhyme with coal not as in dole whip :rotfl2:

But coal and dole do rhyme. :confused3

So you might be a chavvy if you are on the dole?

How'd your presentation go T...It was today, no?
--------------------------------------------------------

Mo - HOw is the new job going?

/
Do I need to fly out to Kent and get ghetto on some chicks? :mad:
Tell Jess, I think that's fantastic!:thumbsup2

Oh hell no! Don't make my inner chavvy come out!

Jo, I have two responses for Jess:

1. Don't be hatin'
or
2. She could just tell them they are just envious of her superior intellect.

It went pretty good - it started out scary, though. The school computer wasn't picking up my flash drive! :eek: This computer geek fixed it though. But my sound card wouldn't work, dangnabit! But at least I spelled all my words correctly. (NOF stupid people in my class ;)) :lmao: I think I walked away with an A by comparison. We have our final on Monday, then our last modular starts on Tuesday... then it's 4 weeks until I'm finished!!! :woohoo:

Yup, June 7th, Waldo turns 73?:eek:

kat-- that sucks that your mil is that way. it would be hard for me to bite my lip and not say anything. my mil drives me crazy too. she's nice tome, but my dh has 2 brothers. they are in trouble all the time, jail, prison. mostly substance abuse problems. but my inlaws continue to give , give, give and enable them. i mean like taking out a loan on her retirement to buy a house for one of them. now , he lost his job bc got dui, his girlfriend lost her job and now my mil is like :scared1: but dh put himself through college and grad school, but if we ask for even small favors, it's always thrown back in our faces. i don't understand it. okay, sorry, once i get started, have trouble stopping . could go on for hours. but i feel much better :rotfl:

ce-- not going to jinx you. i was jinxed last week , so my dh gets nothing for a month!!!:rotfl2:

Thanks to everyone for the boy compliments. :goodvibes

Miz, sounds like a great pixie dust trip! :hug:

Hi, Jen! :goodvibes Sorry about the short wieners. :rotfl:

Jo, it was nice of your choir guy to buy ice cream.

Janet, hopefully bed went smoother! :goodvibes
T, woohoo on 4 weeks! :cool1:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, the t-ball game was possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen. :lmao:
I don't know that I had ever attended one before - we didn't have t-ball when I was little, we just started softball or Little League in 2nd grade, and we live too far from nieces or nephews or whatnot.
Janet, hopefully bed went smoother! :goodvibes
Quieter, anyway. It took him forever to fall asleep, but no tantrum:thumbsup2
I love watching T-Ball games. They are so funny. The best are usually the outfielders who are picking flowers or grass, watching the birds fly, etc.:lmao:
Shoot. I started multi-quoting, but now I've gotta run to a meeting. So I'll jsut leave this:
Morning Fockers! My baby's 6 today! I get to celebrate, too, since I think it a major accomplishment that I helped get him this far!
a belated happy birthday. i'm always a little behind. 6 is such a cute age!!
Sorry, bedtime problems as I said last night. Hopefully that will be it. It is the first 1 don't want to go to bed in about 3 weeks. I notice the most trouble when he takes a nap at school!
Will Turner in High Def
it's nice that she was able to say good-bye, but it doens't make it any easier. sounds like a rough day . it makes me appreciate my life a lot more. makes the small stuff seem even less important :hug:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1174385
wow, all i can think of is having to clean all that stuff!!!
I finished cleaning out the toys in the playroom and tagging them for the garage sale. I filled 7 bags with garbage! I also cleaned out my office!
I should post a pic of the playroom with all the stuff I"ve priced so far! It's INSANE!
Feel free to drive on over to MI for my garage sale. Great stuff, cheap!
I'm sweaty, dusty, tired and cramped. Time for a shower and a subway sandwich!
MEL
i hate getting ready for garage sales. :headache:
That is some crazy stuff. All that clutter would make me nuts Disney themed or not
i have to agree, definately not a clutter person!!
No, I'm still out work. (is that the proper English response?)
:rotfl2: hilarious
Goofyluver said "getting less weiner"... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Morning Fockers!! Just wanted to say hi and hope you all have a great day!!!
Im so happy i finally found this thread, you all are so darn funny and seem so nice...what the heck took me so long????
Also watching tee ball..or any sport that involves that age children, is the funniest thing ever!!!
Hi Jo
I had a post yesterday but with had a power outage so lost it all.Never got around to re-doing it.
In Short.. My Mom planned her funeral.. dictated the scripture, WROTE things to be said.. and SANG at her Funeral... Now I admit that was different and weird.. casket is open.. Mom is laying there... and her accordian starts playing and she begins to sing.
She also wrote a poem that ended something like this..." so ring the bells for me as I leave this world.. and as their tones rise..let their melodious song carry me upward and onward away from this world to my Heavenly Home. Where they will ring the bells to welcome me home."
At that point, Sarabeth ( age 4) Joshua (age 8) and myself began to ring bells
then the church bells began to ring... then those in attendance that were asked to bring a handbell also began to ring theirs. All directed by Mom's wishes. Sara was cute... she started it.. walked up front.. faced the crowd and began to ring. ( that was not planned... she just did it.)
It was so cute and innocent.There is a LOT of Mom in her.. THANK GOODNESS.. but there is also a LOT of ME:scared1: .
