Morning Fockers! My baby's 6 today!   I get to celebrate, too, since I think it a major accomplishment that I helped get him this far! :rotfl:

Happy Birthday Leo!!! :yay:

Sorry, bedtime problems as I said last night. Hopefully that will be it. It is the first 1 don't want to go to bed in about 3 weeks. I notice the most trouble when he takes a nap at school!

Hopefully a one-timer.

It was a beautiful sight to behold. :cloud9: :rotfl:

Then I'm going to dinner and a movie with my SIL and MIL tonight. I wasn't going to go, but my hubby told me I should, that I deserved a little fun this week. He's right. I'm excited to get out of the house and not think about things. :cutie:

Tomorrow we have our last day of PE and K has taken the day off. The kids love it because it's water day and dad brings his big three-man water balloon slingshot. He's the hit of the "party"!
The boys are going to see Speed Racer tomorrow night, so they girls and I may rent a movie- maybe Nancy Drew?
We have Mom's coming over for dinner on Sat and I'm not sure what's going on on Sunday. So, have a fun weekend and Happy Mother's Day! :grouphug:

OK, you're too busy! :faint:

Have fun tonight - what are you going to see?

Have a great weekend, and Happy Mother's Day if I don't "see" you before then.

The funeral was lovely, I got through a ton of tissues and made sure I took my sunglasses with me :rotfl2: Her DD (11) was incredible, so brave and strong (just like her Mum was) I don't think she cried and she even lit a candle and placed on her coffin :sad1: The lady (Jodi 38 y/o) whos funeral it was had been battling cancer for several years, she had organised her own funeral and had written a book with messages to lots of people and a Mummy Manual for her DD as she gets older, some excerts (sp?) of these were read out and OMG they were so moving, lots more tissues were required :rotfl: She was buried in a beautiful spot underneath a tree and at least she's out of pain now!

I think it's nice in some ways that she was able to do some of the planning - I would think it would then have to be a little less sad... I would have been bawling, but the Mummy Manual is so sweet.

Happy 6th Birthday Leo!!

Anyways..have a great day everyone!!

**I'm about to update my TR again too....:rolleyes1 **

You, too, Kat!

I'll be there... popcorn::

So I forgot to babble about my day! :rotfl:

Nothing much happening, really. The boys have their make-up for the first t-ball game tonight at 6:00, so we'll just have a quiet afternoon and then an early dinner beforehand. The games are supposed to be 4 innings (with everyone batting, no counting of "outs") or 2 hours, max. I don't think we'll go 2 hours tonight, though. The games on Saturdays are of course daytime - if it stays cloudy, it will be a little dark by the time 8:00 rolls around.

It's warmish here temperature wise, but it rained this morning and still feels kind of damp, if you KWIM. This is of course after two beautiful days, since we have the game.

Here's the pic of them in their uniforms for the opening parade last Friday:

I just find them too funny. :rotfl:

Anyway... D left yesterday and isn't back until Sunday evening, so I think we'll have a quiet weekend. There's the regularly scheduled t-ball game Saturday morning, but that's all we have planned. :thumbsup2 I may try to arrange a playdate for tomorrow, but now it's short notice. :confused3

I'll probably be giving up the computer here soon, but I'll be back later!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bday:

AWW Jo, the service sounds like it wsa very touching. Your friend sounds like she was an incredible woman:hug:

 Jo the funeral sounds like it was very beautiful and moving. That little girl sounds like she is very strong.

I feel for Jess, it is hard getting higher marks than your classmates. You are condemned for being a geek or everybody tries to get you to "help" them on assignments. This kid in high school called me the walking encyclopedia, it was very embarrassing as I did not like my grades to be announced as public knowledge.

I'm glad you all like the tulip photos, they are some of my favourite flowers as well. I can't grow them at home though as I have a similar problem to Janet, squirrels will dig up the bulbs and if the squirrels don't get them then the rabbits get them in the spring when they start to push up through the ground. :headache:

CE: SOOOOO CUTE!!!

-------------

I finished cleaning out the toys in the playroom and tagging them for the garage sale. I filled 7 bags with garbage! I also cleaned out my office!
I should post a pic of the playroom with all the stuff I"ve priced so far! It's INSANE!

Feel free to drive on over to MI for my garage sale. Great stuff, cheap! :rolleyes1

I'm sweaty, dusty, tired and cramped. Time for a shower and a subway sandwich!

MEL:banana:

Hey all--home from work.
got my new stuff yesterday and it looks really nice---will look better when we get the new entertainment center and tables next week.

The TV is nice, but a little blurry up close. Dish network said I would probably want to upgrade to Hidef ($125). We'll see.

From a distance, it looks fine---gotta adjust the settings some and still don't know how to hook up my DVD and PS2. different color connections back there.

Love the tulip pics---I wanna plant some here---they wouldn't grow in TX but should do ok here.

Ce---cute kiddos!

Hope your doing ok Jo:hug: , this sounds like a very hard day to get through. What a courageous young girl her daughter is.

Jess got upset last night, they've recently done tests at school and in English she got a really good result, only her and 1 other girl got that score, well first she came in saying that I will be so proud of her and the next minute she says some other girls were being nasty and calling her a geek  I said it's because they're jealous etc and to ignore them, girls :headache: But she was right I was proud of her :rotfl2:
tell her we are all so proud of her and to ignore all the jealous kids.Kids can be so cruel.:headache:

Just a mini one that I am posting here. I already did a post for Saturday and Sunday. I'm going to post highlights from Monday and Tuesday in a few minutes.

I hate to hear Jess is getting teased for making good grades. Kids can be so mean!
