Someone's got my correct name, home address and work phone number and is sending inquiries and applying for credit under those with a DOB and SSN that aren't mine. I've notified every agency in the free world, so that should stop any further action, but oy! Like I need another project to tackle, right?

Someone used my info to open a Paypal account and the account was in the hole. I found out because I got a letter from a collection agency. I had to file a police report. Luckily there is nothing on my credit report and the only acct they did this that I know of. It has now been a year. It was scary for me because Paypal told me they used a mastercard to secure the account and the bank where the mastercard was verified the address and name on the account. I don't even have a mastercard and told them that.


And paypal told me that if they verify 2 pieces of info on an account as matching, they send it to collection because that is enough proof to them that it is actually your account. So my name and address matched. I tried to say - you know anyone can find a name and address out of a phone book. But the police report makes it so they can't do anything.

We bailed on plans tonight and stayed home and relaxed and watched some shows on the DVR. KC got his new phone today so he's been playing with it all night long. It's a T Mobile Wing. I'm off to finish "From Dead to Worse" by Charlaine Harris.

I will probably just lurk a little this weekend as Mother's Day weekend is still hard for me (its only been 2 years since losing mom).

Then Ab has a beauty pageant this evening so hair appt, etc. It is her Miss High School pageant so it's a big one for her. She can't win cause you have to be a senior but it's a big thing to get nominated to be in it. She's wearing the same dress as prom that she borrowed.

Well Fockers, I got some sad news when I got home from work this morning. My dad called to let us know that our grandpa passed away last night. He has been very sick for a long time so it was not unexpected but it is still very sad. He lived a nice long life though, he was 89 years old. I wish I had known him better but with us always living so far away we rarely got to visit.

Things are ok. He actually lost his job shortly after the we came back from the cruise , but is working at his father's auto body shop and is on the dole. Otherwise everything's fine, just been busy doing some stuff I've been neglecting.

Actually funny story, can you remember Michelle sent us some goodies well in it was a calender which I have hung on the fridge, well yesterday David says is it Mothers Day on Sunday all panicky I reassured him he was OK for this year and had already done Mothers Day

Oh we saw Iron Man the other day and Happy(5 will be 6 in June) LOVED it.Bashful(2) had no use for it. P and I thought it was good. I have to say Robert Downey Jr was looking pretty good and I love Gweneth Paltrow so I thought she was good too.

I really enjoyed it and yes RDJ looked hot

I thought it was 2 too, but guess I'm wrong. Here's my advice about RnR. Keep your head back and try not to wear big earrings. The first time I rode it I had dangly earrings on and my head kept bumping the seat harness thingy and the back of the earring would pinch me. The corkscrews aren't too bad and they go by quickly.

The party last night was fun, I didn't buy anything though, cheapskate but Jess bought a lipbalm. We didn't get home till about 10pm. After the golf run I've been clearing out all the winter clothes and being ruthless chucking things in the charity bag that I haven't won for ages. It's really hot here again today, got to the mid 80's so I've been melting. David also decided he'd like a BBQ tonight so I had to brave the supermarket, OMG I hate that place on a Saturday it's packed but we now have some food to stick on the barbie!

The girls have their first communion tomorrow (they have the rehersal in 30 mins) Ellie is also getting her singing award and Jess is doing some dance, all followed by a little party, so a busy morning. David is off to Wembley to watch Soccer tomorrow too!

I've been elbows deep in STUFF for the garage sale! I convinced my DH to to give up his entire morning cleaning with me. He was thrilled!
We filled 7 LARGE black trash bags with garbage and have tons of stuff for the sale. Our spare room (which is 14x22) is FILLED! OMG. Seriously. There were boxes of things that we haven't opened since we got married.
