I just did a short addition to my PTR.. I am just over a month till Disney and I am not even CLOSE TO READY...

BTW.. how many corkscrews are there on the "Aerosmith" Rocking Roller Coaster?? Scott wants to ride it.. I am afraid of dying
JUst how bad are the corkscrews ? Are they closer to LOOPS ?? I do not do LOOPS

We just got back and you are upside down 3 times 1 time right out of the gate. It is a bit intense.imo

S'late is right, it's a smooth ride, BUT...

As I said, I LOVE it. I do. But I like coasters. If you are really deathly afraid, I wouldn't do it. If you like some other coasters and are really just a "little" chicken, I say go for it, because it's really fun.

Well Fockers, I got some sad news when I got home from work this morning. My dad called to let us know that our grandpa passed away last night. He has been very sick for a long time so it was not unexpected but it is still very sad. He lived a nice long life though, he was 89 years old. I wish I had known him better but with us always living so far away we rarely got to visit.

Went to the city again yesterday for a short time. Met up with Nicole786 again (KC & I). We went to the West Village area this time. I love the vibe down there. Of course you know I had my camera....

My pretty city...

This is where we ate....yummy...

Then we walked to The Magnolia Bakery. I even had a lime green frosted cupcake!

Then we walked to the Chelsea Market, Where the Food TV studios are.

I even found a hidden Mickey!!

And a Wine store...with a free wine tasting!!!

It was a lot of fun! No food tv people sighting but we saw an anchor man from the NY1 channel.

Tonight we are going to Times Square to Dave & Busters for a birthday party. Hopefully it'll be a early night because I'm still tired!!!

okay--- forget who was talking about the year long vacation and no you know what. hey all, just a quick post. i have to work at 8pm tonight. maybe i'll be in triage and we'll be... the oposite of busy!!! then , i can get online. we never say the q word that rhymes with riot. in the ER if you say the q word, it just gets caRAZY!!!! i'm not superstitious, but it is soo true. anyway, will be busy with the kids this weekend. i work every other weekend, so have to take advantage of the ones off. probably just hang around the house. my husband is going to work on the bathroom. we remodeled last year. dh did the work himself, well now the ceramic tile is cracked is several places from the kids getting water all over the floor during bath time. dh didn't use the water resistent sub flooring., so now he has to tear the ceramic tile out and do it over. and he wonders why i'm hesitent about him ceramic tiling the kitchen? . i told him when h e does the kitchen, i will just take the kids to my parents for a long weekend. (he tends to get a little frustrated with projects, and the curse words fly!!!!!) he better have it done when i get back. okay maybe i shouldnt' be so mean . but anyway, i'm rambling again. happy mother's day to all!!!! maybe i'll be able to chat this evening.

I Like Rollercoasters... but I am not a fan if they loop. I have ridden two looping coasters in my life. The last one.. well.. There should have been a "B" -CUP restriction on that one. I was so mashed they came out my back .

That's strange. Last year it was just someone using my credit card number...I think that was it anyway...

Showed them though...the card number they stole was maxed out (and then some) at WDW a couple of months prior!!!

DH is asst coach on ds's soccer team. Some of the boys put their hands down their pants. Don't know why. The last game, the coach yells to her son who has his hands down his pants, "Go get the ball" because it went off the field. DH looked at her and said, "Oh, you mean that ball."
