WellI spent4 hours of a 6 hour shift at an Immediate care facility!!I guess my definiton of immediate is a little quickerbut with driving and paperwork that was ALL I did !!! Iam now off for 2 whole days other than popping in to fix the money at ork as I forgot to get it all out and they did some "Rob Peter to pay Paul"

Jess just slept in until 9am that's the longest she has ever slept in and she soooooo needed it!

Not many plans today other than laundry, answering questions, cleaning the house and letting the girls chill and get over too little sleep!

I'm home and survived 5 days with 2 11 y/o's and 2 13 y/o girls There was lots of screaming though, the excited time and they spent so many hours in Dad's pool I'm surprised they haven't all shrunk

Well last night was interesting. Pretty much all of SE Ontario including where we live was under a tornado and severe storm watch. At least 5 tornadoes touched down in the Toronto area, thankfully none that I know of came anywhere near us. The electrical storms did come and boy were they violent. I swear I could feel the house shaking ever time the thunder boomed and you should have seen the night sky all lit up from the lightening, it was nuts! My poor Hobbes was so scared that his tail got all puffed up!

Glad you guys are safe. I saw a video on The Weather Channel yesterday of a tornado that had touched down. Never really happens there, huh?

its a very bad day in this house. things went from great to horrible yesterday. suddenly KC wanted to talk again. apparently his night out was spent trying make decisions about staying with me or not. he came up with no. we are sort of just dealing in the now, trying to hash everything out, but he says his feelings have changed and thats pretty much that. I don't know if thats true of if theres something underneath all the hurt and stuff. we did make an appointment to go to therapy on Monday evening so I'm hoping that will help. if not I may be moving to Florida because i don't have anyone else here to stay with and my friend Laura already told me should could put me up.

I'm sort of in a state of denial and hope, i guess to survive. i really feel like there is something left for us and I'm hoping we can reach it again. we are getting along oddly well tho because we are being brutally honest.

we are going to go to the diner and get some food in a few and continue the talking that has been going on since yesterday.

just need some support and pixie dust from you guys.

Just went to the mall. Crazy crowded in the Macys shoe dept! But at least i got some cute short boots. I was looking for something in forever 21, but it was such a mess in there i couldnt stand it. This is why i like to do my shopping online, in my home, in quiet, no harsh lighting, discounts, relaxed.... Now im going to go look up the crap i was trying to find in the store.

That's why I like shopping online as well. Plus, we have nothing but crappy stores around us. All the good ones I like to shop at are an hour away. I'll stick with paying for shipping...much cheaper.

Not much planned for us today. Just trying to get the house cleaned up and do some laundry. I keep putting off my math homework as well and I might put it off for one more day. The kids will be going with my brother and uncle to a Pirates game tomorrow so I may wait until then to get homework done and do a really good deep clean to the house.

Quiet Day !!! It is the girls 14th birthday Right now they are at a Go Kart place !!Their choiceIf they decide to go out for supper I will join them !!

Judy is tring to work in out with SIL ! I hope it doesn't work !!!I didn't exactly keep silent about my views !!!But she is my daughter and I have no choice but to live with her decision!!

I am enjoying a whole day off and catchingup on my Dissing and coupons !

I don't think he's thinking that but I'm really hanging onto that things can change and work out. I am most worried that if it doesn't I really have no where to go. I can go to Florida but I'm not too keen on that. It's all too much to think about really. We have spent the last few days talking and getting along very well but he still maintains that the relationship part of it is not there. I beg to differ. I am just going day by day, waiting for therapy and hoping. Tonight we have some friends over so that is serving as a great distraction- plus there are drinks which never hurt. LOL.

Not much from me. Been working a lot and having to deal with the new supervisor who's a freaking retard. Technically she works for our department, but we're split into 2 areas and until recently she worked for the other area only but now overseas the night shifts for both departments and of course she wants to make changes!

Anyway, was gonna go to Vero Beach, but my cousin bailed out on me. Oh well, another time. Maybe then I can stay at Disney's Vero Beach resort. It looks beautiful.

Trying to plan a trip with my friends to Key West and another to Disney. Let's see how that works out.......

Well, just back from ICU---Papa Joe is feeling better which is a relief. It was touch and go last nite--the doctor pulled mom and me into another room and wanted to know how far we wanted to go to keep him alive...vent, etc. It really shook mom up. I'm glad I was able to be there. He is breathing better today tho but still really sick. They said his lungs are shot. RA is a bad disease.

I'm just the opposite. I can't shop online because I still believe that I am a size 8. I have to try on a size 8 in the store then say "oh, these must run small"

Then I try on a size 10 and say "these must run really small"

Then I try on a size 12 and eventually a 14 until I find something that fits. If I shopped online I would lose a lot of money in shipping charges because of all the returns.

Well, just back from ICU---Papa Joe is feeling better which is a relief. It was touch and go last nite--the doctor pulled mom and me into another room and wanted to know how far we wanted to go to keep him alive...vent, etc. It really shook mom up. I'm glad I was able to be there. He is breathing better today tho but still really sick. They said his lungs are shot. RA is a bad disease.

My dad was on a ventilator for the last year of his life. We had to talk about those very issues and it was tough on my mom, siblings, and me.

Had our jamboree games today. Delta and Alpha both won their games And chi looked awesome doing her dance I ran into about 10 of my cousins whom I haven't seen in years and the boy who was my neighbor from birth until I turned 16. Sometimes I love living in a small town.

The kids enjoyed GoKarts especially kylewho is a natural !!He was the first across the finish line and his Dad couldn't get past him even!! We then allwent to Applebys for supper !! We all got the 2 Entrees plua an appie for $20 , that is a great deal !! So it was a good day !! Almost forgot I picked up the girlslast set of birthday/schoolclothes from layaway an they went to Aero with their birthday money and a there was a sale again they did very well !!

Jo I would put money on the announcement being made for our plantsite when I am at WDW. My other BFF is a supervisor there so she will get the message to me before anyone else. I'll just have to keep a constant eye on my cell.

Right now I am loving being in a small town. This is where i grew up. All my siblings live here. All my aunts and uncles live here. And about 90% of my cousins live here. I lived away from home from 1992 until 2005 and it is good to be back home

So Murph is definately coming for Turkey day and I just realized my 90 day is this Friday. I am trying to put a plan together so I can make ADR's as i see they extended free dining

I'm stuck for Turkey day as I need to make the plan around where we will have dinner. I wouldn't care so much, but I think Murph will want a nice sit down, though she doesn't need the traditional meal. Problem is she is away (my 75 yo Mom is at a Jimmy Buffett concert in Atlantic City, gotta love her) and I can't really talk to her about what she wouldn't like. This week is crazy but I will have to get her on the phone. But without that info, it's hard to plan the other days.

I am tossing around, Jiko, Brown Derby, Artist Point for our dinner that night. Of course it will depend on what's left since others who have been calling with the 90+10 will have already made ressies. We check in on Turkey day.

Oh well, at least we will be in Disney.

So I ended up with poison ivy for the first time I have no idea where I got it and gawd does it itch! It's been a week now, enough already.

So I am down to 20 days until I leave for Universal/WDW, I'm ready.

park at DHS and nice lunch at BD and look around at Decorations in park, boat over to Epcot resorts and tour all of them to see the decorations. back to DHS for Osborne Lights


Friday - lazy morning after a long day on Thurs.
Epcot - WS all afternoon for the Christmas storytellers, CP dinner package and stay for Illuminations

Sat - lazy morning again, Wilderness Lodge, AKL, AK (I hear that Camp Minnie Mickey is a must see this time of year) and back to Epcot for Tree lighting and some more storytellers, dinner somewhere in WS

Sun - Murph will want to go to Mass, then DTD for lunch and shopping, rest at SSR and tour the Monorail resorts before going to MVMCP, maybe LTT for dinner before the party, as I would like to be in the MK for the castle lighting which I understand is around 5:45


I think this plan hits all the major Holiday happenings, depending on timing may or may not see Holiday parades in DHS and AK, we aren't big parade people so this is ok if we don't see these.

Did I miss anything big, I made sure to make time for all the Deluxe resorts. I am toying with the idea of ICE at Gaylord Palms on Sat or Sun morn too. Not sure though, if that is too much.

I've been Miss Fix-it again, my laptop has been over heating for a while and just shutting down. Well I had enough today and was going to buy a new one but instead thought I'd look at the fan. I opened up the back, even the bit it told you not too, but I was going to dump it anyway so had nothing to lose. Anyway the fan was clogged with this huge disgusting lump of dust, I cleaned it and voila absolutely perfect Saved me about $700 too

i've been distracted and procrastinating all weekend. I spent all day yesterday catching up on our anime series bleach. i watched over 20 episodes.

Now i have to make a run to target for cat food. Then i need to get my butt in gear. I have an outline and paper to research for. I think im writing about the evolution of climbing performance in marsupials. should be fun but its hard to get started because the task seems so daunting. then i have a midterm for organic chemistry to start studying for. eek!
