How do you pay your DVC dues with gift cards?
Thanks
Call Member Services and tell them you want to pay with Disney gift cards.
How do you pay your DVC dues with gift cards?
Thanks
We got $1000 worth of Disney GC, mostly in $25 increments. But now I feel wierd taking them to Disney. Wouldn't it look wierd if you hand Disney like almost 40 gift cards. Anyone else feeling this? Or you think Disney is used to this?
near the front of the store they had a display of gift cards with disney being one of them
the barcode above the DGC said $25 however the rack was stocked with $50
I questioned the manager and he just said an employee stocked them wrong
(this happened a few months ago-not with gift cards though something was stocked in the wrong place--when I questioned it before a manger could come over stockers were busy as bees changing things around)
I said maybe your employees should be more careful with their stocking-I told him how this was not the first time this has happened at this store
he just walked away with the gc in his hands I bought my 5 in order to get 5 $10 target gc which I used to get one "free"
when I went back to get the last one there were $25 stocked there--
now I sure didnt expect to get $50 gc for $25 but the manger could have been more customer friendly!!!
happy though I got $300 gc for 250 safely tucked away for our cruise in aug![]()

Man, I wish I had known that yesterday. I would have bought another $1500 worth of gift certificatesCall Member Services and tell them you want to pay with Disney gift cards.
Totally missed this. Boo I guess I have to come to the budget boards more often!!
I think we're all keeping our fingers crossed! Now that I know I can use the Disney Gift Cards to pay my DVC dues, I am ready to buy moreLast year they ran this 2 weekends in a row. We can only hope!
You can use the gift cards to pay for your room or package in advance so you don't have to bring them with you. Just make sure to keep the cards in a safe place in case you have to cancel your trip.I wouldn't feel safe or comfortable carrying around $1500 worth of gift cards, but that is just me. To me they are just like cash and you are screwed if you lose them/get robbed.
But...I do like the idea that someone mentioned of buying a gift card or two a month leading up to a trip to help cover the cost of souveniers. (Or food, but we always have the free DDP and I don't think you could leave gratuity with a gift card...).
So in a few years when we go again...![]()

As I understand it, I can now take my $200 worth of Target gift cards and buy a $200 prepaid Visa card. I may do that or my DD really wants an iPad and we couldn't afford with our upcoming trip and all, but now with my $200 windfall she might get one.
ThanksRobin, did you see that target has a free $50 gift card with purchase of any ipad(except mini)? It started yesterday. Plus you can save 5% with a redcard.
That is what I did. I used my gc's to pay off my resort room, by phone. The operator was very patient while I read off all those card numbers.
I was considering doing that, but I'm paranoid about having "proof" that I paid, since I'm dealing with a large amount of money ($1,800 balance on our room only ressie at the GC). I'd love to NOT have to bring all those cards with me on the trip...
Thanks. Unfortunately, my DD wants the mini and it's sold out at Target and just about everywhere else *sigh*. I think I am going to hope for a second week of coupons and 'churn' the Target gift cards into more Disney gift cards.
