so I think it may be safest to try to keep him in the bed. I also tried to get those door knob covers for our front door (since I can't reverse that one)...as he's also learned how to unlock the bolt and stroll on out! Luckily I was in the next room and saw him leave, so I quickly got him and now can't leave him alone in the front of the house 
This kid is way to curious/industrious for his own good!
