Hey guys! Just got back from the hospital.

DMIL was looking much better to me. Now when she starts to feel uncomfortable, she doesn't hesitate. She pushes the nurse call button and says "I'm ready for some more morphine now." She's very direct, that one.

Anyway, I got her some flowers and they were so fresh and pretty and smell so good. I hate hospital rooms. Yuck, yuck, yuck. I got released 24 hours after the births of both Holly and Ella. Can't stand to be there. She hasn't seen the main doctor, the one who did the surgery yet. Wish he'd get his patootie in there already. I'm not going to be very good at this hospital business. As the parents are getting older and we seem to be making more frequent trips for one or the other one, I don't see my getting any more patient. If anything I'm getting worse.

Danauk guess what we are doing? We are adding a water "feature" to our patio. Isn't that what you call it? I love to hear you talk gardening talk. I am all about the landscaping.

Anyway we bought a kidney shape pond, very small, maybe 4' x 3' (sorry no metric conversion) and it is dug into the ground. We are going to get another one that fits in 1/2 of a cedar type whiskey barrel, do you know what I mean? It will dump into the one that is in the ground. I'm so excited! Can't wait to get it done.

Is there a QOTD: re Disney job you want to do? I've said mine before, but here there are: work in Tinker Bell's store behind the castle; work in the landscaping dept., only not physically, I just want to point; sometimes I see Disney people who appear to be just walking around, I want to do that.

llebrekniT your water feature sounds great, you'll have to post a picture when it is done. I'm still waiting for the garden centre to phone to say that my replacement pump is in. They said it would be 2-3 weeks and that was 2 weeks ago so hopefully it will be in by this weekend so I can get the flower bed finished (I can buy the Japanease maples at the same time to go in the blue pots next to it.) Then all I need to do is put the cobbles in place and it is done. DH cleaned the pump out in the pond as it was bunged up again (it always does this when we turn it on again after the winter) so the pond is starting to look better. We just need to wait for the lillies to flower now the water is clearing.
I'm glad to hear your MIL is doing better. She sounds like one tough cookie.

Ooh I've just thought of another job I would love to have at WDW. I would love to be Tinkerbelle and get to fly down the zip wire from the castle at the start of the fireworks ::yes:: princess:

Uh, Danauk, I hate to burst your bubble, but that is a clothes line where Cinderella hangs g=her was to dry. The birds are well trained and when it is dry, brint to her...

Just thought you hould know the truth!!!

We don't belong to DVC.

We are open to any suggestions. We know that RRBB should a big say because of her restrictions---We are flexible-no more religous restrictions for us until the next big holy day of obligation in August. I am a big fan of Japanese food, but I can always find something on any menu-regular or kiddie. It does not have to be fancy---no V&A though (we don't want to dress up on vacation).

Danauk, define "bunged up" please.:D

and to both you and Ohanafamily, I go through this every trip to WDW with Daniel. There is NO wire! You are seeing things! TinkerBell does not need a wire, pixie dust makes her fly!

Shame on you both.;)

OK llebrekniT I want to be given some pixie dust to be magically transformed into Tinkerbelle so I can fly out of the castle and over the park at dusk princess: Is that OK?::yes::

Bunged up means clogged up, full of junk so it will not work, congested, full of debris, blocked (I can't think of any more words-do you understand now?) I keep forgetting some English expressions are not used in America.

That gives me an idea, can any of you guys guess what these words mean? (some are easier than others)
1) snicket
2) pavement
3) tap
4) cobbler (not to do with shoes)
5) pantomime

Actually, there isn't a wire, it is a Clothes line. When we were on the Keys to the kingdom tour, we were assured that TinkBell is quite capable of unassisted flight, but Cinderella refuses to use a automatic washing macine or dryer.

How dows that sound?

I could cheat and ask my friend from Sandwhich, but I figured I'd venture a guess...

I heard one on a cruise from a Brit Couple...
Doggie Bollaks... What are those???
It sounded like a rude expression, but the couple insisted it was an exclamation like Oh Darn!

Hey there gang. Boy has it been a busy one here. It's almost 5pm and it seems I've only just begun. Had a huge team meeting this morning to discuss a new service we're going to offer the underpriveledged neighborhoods in NYC. Gonna be a busy summer!

Also had to interview a couple of college folks for an internship position I'm trying to fill (to help ME).

Now I have to give rousing talks at Citigroup and NY Life tomorrow and Thursday.

AND there's a small music trivia contest fund raiser this Friday.

No rest for the wicked!

I'll pop my big head in from time to time to say howdyho!

Hope you all are doing good.

And check out how many posts I have!

A good effort ohanafamily (oh boy I sound like I'm a work marking the kids books!) 2 and 3 are correct, 5 is kind of right but there is a bit more to it. A good guess though. A clue for number 4 - you eat it.

The dogs b's comment I would not use as I don't particularly like the phrase but where I'm from it means something is really good.

OK, Monty Python had the Pantomime Horse, so I would guess no talking?
Cobbler maybe a baker-who makes peach cobblers,
I have no clue as to #1.

Oh, and I heard the Doggie B' meant really bad... See what happens when you believe people from Essex?...
