Hey daisyyy,

I'm cleaning whenever I'm not totally sapped of energy. I think last night was one of the worst I've had in a long time. I couldn't get comfortable, was up every hour or so and didn't get any really good solid sleep. Then I got the worst leg cramp ever as I was waking up and had to have my DH help me out of bed. It was just one of those I want a do-over kind of nights.

Actually, must nights are like that now. I don't even like going to bed any more because it feels like torture. :lmao:

On a bright note, everything else is going fine healthwise, and non stress tests have been good, so that's good.

I have one today so we'll see how that goes, and I'll keep you posted!

We bought this 1999 Forester in hope that it will be our daughters soon. She now has our 2000 Legacy. The Forester may be a year older, but it's in much better shape. The waterfront property we have up for sale is under contract. Keeping our fingers crossed that it goes through. You never know until the sale papers are signed. Then with the land sale, we could buy ourselves a newer car. We REALLY need this sale to pan out especially without me working. We could also pay off some debt which would decrease our monthly bills. PLEASE SELL!

LegoMom. I have tried my mothers treadmill several times, but the dizziness never gets better. I think much of that has to do with my sinuses. I often get the dizzy-head headache.

Daisyyy, the last time we went to Disney, which was our 2nd family trip, will be 2 years ago this coming Oct. My mother, brother and family met us down there. My mother ended up staying with us. My dear friend and her baby came to stay with us for a few days too. This was my daughter's Senior year family trip. Since it was my brothers 1st trip, I made it very clear that it's most important for them to do what they want to do and not to feel like they must do what we want. I explained that since we have been once before, we know the things we want to skip which might be something they want to do. We ended up meeting up at times, but not feeling like we had to be together all the time. We have different vacation styles as well. They like to get up at the crack of dawn to get to the parks for opening then are so tired they leave early evening. We do not make the parks for opening and I like to stay to enjoy the night activities like Wishes and Spectromagic. Neither one of us were staying on property so it was not as easy to take a mid day break.

TK, good luck with your test and I hope you sleep better tonight.

Hi everyone. I'm catching up.

I'm starting out by saying I was in a mood this morning... My DH starts complaining about not being able to find a pair of shorts he had put in the laundry. Sorry if you can't find them, as it is, I do a minimum of 12 loads of laundry a week, to keep up witht he 6 of us, and in the summer it's usually more since we have beach towels and wet clothes, and kids always changing... it can be more like 14-18 loads a week!! Really.. too bad if my laundry skills are not keeping up with your needs in a timely manner! Then I came to work, and was busy in one of my projects when my boss comes dancing in trying to tell me about something that is not a priority until Sept.... I'm working on JULY right now, I don't care what happens in Sept, and I'm going on vacation is sept, so give it to someone else... I want to say that, on top of it is interfering with my disney planning.. but I can't say it. So then these 2 caprenters walk in and ask me about something that my boss questioned them on, and I basically said.. are you kidding me! why are you over thinking this.. Simple is best. UGH! Really!
Ok.. whew... that was my rant.
I needed that.

Sadie Dog.... congrats on the new car!!! I wish I had a car with 2 seats.... (instead of a minivan). I cried the day I drove the minivan off the lot, I turned 40, and had a minivan with 4 kids... How cool is that:rolleyes:. Everytime my kids see a nice car they say when we get our license, we want '" name that cool car".. and I always say I'll take anything with only 2 seats. :woohoo: :lmao: "mom... how can you say that? I tell them, wait till you have kids and drive a minivan, and you'll see how cool it is..:cool2: (sorry if I'm offending anyone that actually likes driving a minivan.. but I'm not one of them).
Tink... have fun on your TN trip with BF. kep an eye out for the super -targets on the way. I'm more of a Target gal myself, but Walmart does have some things that I can't find at Targ, so we're there too.
Lego-mom.... are you insane? running in the heat? I would use that as an excuse not to run... but then again, i'm sure if you're running you're in better shape then me, so who am I to talk.. go for it girl!... but drink lots of fluids!
Smiley-bug... Morning... (oh.. it's afternoon already!... ) :flower3:
TK. happy anniversary... I hope you had a nice dinner. are you still cleaning? I remember doing that with all my babies too, something about making everything organized before the new chaos starts. It must be some kind of human instinct or something from our prehistoric caveman days.
Mean Queen... HEY... LUCKY!!! it must be great to be able to be close enough to take a little trip like that. Have you stayed at the grand villas before? are they nice? I'm sure they are.. how could they not be fabulous? You won't miss the parks, if I ever stay at a deluxe, I would want to get my moneys worth, and enjoy the resort too... and save the parks for when I stay at places that I don't care about the resort, and just need a place to sleep. You'll still get to see the fireworks, and enjoy everything else .

one of my co-workers just came in to tell me that they are going to be in disney the same week I'm going.. AND... they booked themselves on the same flights!!! Oh... man...
Well.. she's a nice girl, and it's just her and her DH.. and she kinda said, we probably wont even see each other at all except for at the airport.. I don't like being hijacked. How do you all feel about going with extended family or friends in a big group? last year we made the mistake of telling friends that we were going, and they met us there.. they live in Fla, and go more frequently.. but it's our once a year trip, so we wanted to do certain things.. and they kept telling us what they wanted to do. I hate that. Don't do it on my vacation.. do it on yours... and they crewed up a few ADRs too, becuase they couldn't add on, they said, oh, we;ll just show up, and they'll seat us.. well.. they did .. eventually.. we had to wait for over an hour each time.. I was mad!! I am a very social person, but when it comes to Disney.. watch out..,:scared1: I find it hard enough to get all six of us to want to do the same things at the same time, and who wants to what.. eat now, or later, and who has to go potty... ALL the time.. Man, it just bugs me. I love my friends and family, but it's like drinking and driving.. it doesn't mix. I like to do my disney trips without them. We havn't told them we're going again in Sept. I wont post it on FB, and will send them a different christmas card.. :rotfl:

We're staying local for the 4th.. basically because DH has to work, and I don't mind having a little breather before all heck breaks loose in July. We may or may not go see local fireworks.. but they are never as good as Disney.. a friend of ours is having a bday party, so we'll stop in there, and lay low for the rest of the weekend.

Ok.. enough of my rambling;) Enjoy your wednesday... I hope it's better than mine.

Umm....hon?.....by any chance did you have a few energy drinks for breakfast today?......:confused3

:rotfl2::lmao:

Seriously, how cool is this post?!! I had a blast reading it! It just kept going and going, from one thing to the next, and it was FUN!!:thumbsup2

Yes, I run in the heat, and yes, I ran again today! I got to my point of absolute disgust this past winter with my weight and lack of fitness, so I put my foot down and did something about it. I joined the DIS W.I.S.H. forum so I had some accountability each week, and started making smarter food choices. The weight started coming off, I built up my stamina with running (I started off walking 2 miles and slowly increased the pace until I could run the whole thing....now I'm running about 2.5!). It's become a habit and if I don't exercise, I feel blah. I've also come to the sad realization that my "thirty-fourteen" yr. old body is VERY quick to reclaim the weight if I don't make the effort to keep it off!:headache:

I'm also not a minivan person. I've had one, but no more. I currently drive a big ol' full size Ford Club Wagon van. LOVE it. But alas, it's days are numbered....:sad2: I'm trying to keep it going until next winter and (hopefully) tax time. It also has to pass inspection next month!:scared: I want my next vehicle to be either a Ford Expedition or a Chevy Suburban. MUST have the 3rd row seat. I've got three boys and long trips -- heck ANY trip! -- needs to have "breathing" room. To seat them 3-across in a single back seat is simply asking to lose your mind. Oh, and the Expedition or Suburban is exactly what I would drive anyway, even with no kids to tote around.

SadieDog - here's hoping on the land sale!!!!! :wizard: Boy that timing couldn't be better, huh? Let us know what happens.:grouphug:

.

SadieDog - yeah on the 2nd car!

Daisyyy - We travel with 2 other families a lot. It's a total of 13 of us and we've stayed in many DVC Grand Villas. We just haven't done the Bay Lake 3 bedroom yet. It is hard to travel with a group, because with so many people, come so many ideas on what to do. We generally manage to work it out, mostly because I just take charge and plan something. If we don't have some game plan, we'll stand around for an hour trying to decide on something. With that group, we definitely need to plan far ahead for sit down meals. But we usually just plan and eat in the room.

I'm not a minivan person, but there have been plenty of times I would have liked to use one. Like when there is 1 designated driver for a group of people. Sure would come in handy in that case. :rotfl2:

Good morning Babba-nanna-ers!
