I hope everyone is having a nice Father's Day and treating the good dads right.

PAMom - Ahh, the sounds of a divorced dad trying to buy his daughter's love. Sorry you're going through this.

Happy Fathers Day ya'll. :goodvibes

:goodvibes My hubby has to do the grilling. Does that mean I am treating him bad? :rotfl:

OOPS!!!....

It's a nice one, too. You can slide the phone and it has a full size qwerty keyboard. You can slide it back and make a call. It also has a camera........................................................yeah.

I hope you are feeling better about the situation.

That phone sounds like the one my daughter has. Not sure about your daughter's phone, but my daughter cannot go online with hers. You should see the phone now. It is falling apart and all taped up. :rotfl2:

Ah, don't worry about the phone... I;m sure your DD is smart enough to realize it's not all about the gift.. it's about what you do everyday. Books aren't crappy by the way. My DD loves getting books. Mean Queen hit it on the head about buying her love, she'll be excited about it for a while and then it will pass. Happy b'day to your DD! How's it having a teenager? chronologically, we're not quite there yet,,,we still have almost a year before we officially hit teenagedom but If I weren't there at her birth, I'd swear she skipped a few years... sometimes I'm like, whoa, where's that coming from, or did I just hear what I think I heard, and attitudes are flying, And people always tell me SOMEDAY you'll miss this, but they're not living my reality show... Anyway... hope she had a nice birthday, and don't worry about the phone.
OMG.... It's Monday, and what am I doing up at 2:15 am??? I have to get up in 4 hours to go to work, and wake up the kids for their last day of school.

PaMom, I almost forgot........to your daughter...........

Happy Birthday

creativeamanda, I just recalled that I read something about you coming home from Disney only to find your cat was gone. Sorry to hear that. Was he your only cat?

I have lost cats to the woods before too. The cats I have now have been with me about 5 years. The cat on siezure meds sticks around the house now. The meds make her lazy.

Wow, lots of chatter here already for a Monday morning! How's everyone? I've only been up for an hour but so far that hour has not gone well.....:headache: DH is in a mood over work. I can't blame him for how he feels but I can and do blame him for how he handles things. For crying out loud sometimes it's like having a 4th "boy". And he can act badly all he wants in front of me -- go ahead, vent away, we all need that -- but when he pitches his little fit in front of one of the kids.....Yeah, way to go, great example you're setting. Realizing of course that none of us are perfect, but this is a long-time, on-going thing. UGH!

Ok, sorry for MY vent! Can't post this stuff on FB, since DH is on there as well as several local work-related people.

Anywho, hope the rest of you have a great day!:thumbsup2

 I know exactly what you mean. Hopefully it is out of his system now and the day will get better.

To say I'm unbelievably pissed off is an understatement.

I'm sorry you're frustrated, hon. I hope she had a nice birthday. :goodvibes

Thanks! And to your DH as well! :goodvibes

I hope everyone is having a nice Father's Day and treating the good dads right.

Well, if treating DH right means wishing him well as he heads off to work, then I did a stellar job! :lmao:

Unfortunately, he had work Sunday, but I took the opportunity to bake him some Happy Father's Day brownies while he was gone. Which I can see he enjoyed last night as there's a whole row missing. :thumbsup2

Happy Fathers Day ya'll. :goodvibes

:goodvibes My hubby has to do the grilling. Does that mean I am treating him bad? :rotfl:

Men love to grill! I see no shame. ;)

OMG.... It's Monday, and what am I doing up at 2:15 am??? I have to get up in 4 hours to go to work, and wake up the kids for their last day of school.

I got up at 430 and had a really hard time going back to sleep! I ended up eating a yogurt and reading a little bit. Of course, once I ate the yogurt, the baby thought it was party time and was all over the place. :lmao:

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

I hope its the best of mondays for ya. :thumbsup2

Mornin', Smiley!

No problem on the vent, my dear. I hear a lot of work complaints from my DH as well.

I remember the week my mom was in the hospital and DH had a particularly bad day at work, came home, and vented about it, and all I could think was, "I don't care." :lmao: And I meant it in the nicest possible way, but I didn't say it, I just listened. Losing someone that close to you really reshuffles the priorities. My work stuff doesn't phase me anymore, but I can understand why his does.

Morning, folks!

Finally cleaned out the drawers in the bathroom. It's amazing how much we accumulate that we don't use. :lmao:

Yes, that was my cat and Mickey was our only one. I really don't want to get another because Ihate for this to happen to them all.

 I hate this--and why does it feel like sometimes we have extra children to rear?

Again, if you are so inclined and finish your apartment, you are welcome to come to my place and clean.

Mornin' nanners!

Mornin' nanners!

If I manage to finish before the baby arrives, I'll be happy to move on to your place. All this cleaning energy has to go somewhere! :lmao:

Hey nanners. Been MIA for a bit. But I'm back...for now at least. We're driving down to visit BF's family in TN next week and I'm not sure if I'll have access to the DIS.

Happy Monday!
