I like the spa idea. You'll have to let us know what he thinks of the gift! My DH wouldn't go for that type of gift, but he is the same way - so hard to buy for - I know he likes tools, but I don't know the difference from one tool to another.

He liked it.

I'm watching SNL's the best of Will Farrell and I just saw one of my favorite skits ever. "I need more cowbell!" "When I'm done here, you're going to be wearing gold plated diapers baby." Now back to my spiked egg nog and SNL.

I watched that last night, too. That skit is hilarious! Egg Nog sounds yummy.

Hey before we know it this is going to be the Mean Queen & LegoMom thread! I've actually been wondering the same thing myself... Is everyone else that busy or do we really have no life?!

Anyway, while I'm here I'll let you know that my dad called yesterday and let me know that he picked up FIVE bags of Mint M&M's at Target, and they are on their way north!

Are you all having problems with the board moving slow? Sometimes I don't post because it takes ten minutes after I hit "Submit Reply" for my message to go through.

Glad to hear someone else has no life. I do have lag sometimes. But it doesn't happen as much since I started a spyware scan every time I turn on my computer. It's amazing how much junk can attach itself to your computer.

It's been slow for me, too. Do any of you get e-mail notification for new messages? I do, but suddenly I don't anymore! Not sure why, since I didn't change any settings.

ETA: Ok, just discovered that Yahoo started dumping my DIS e-mails into the junk folder!! What the?!?!.... One day I get them, the next day they're spam.... Go figure (it also dumped an e-mail from my DH's cousin).

We got to try it out and she loved it. So now I have somewhere to take her next year to start socializing with other kids.

Is it good or bad that you didn't get DH's cousins e-mail? Just checking in to say "HI!" I took my little one to the park today and happened upon a tumbling class for her age. We got to try it out and she loved it. So now I have somewhere to take her next year to start socializing with other kids.

Well, the cousin usually just forwards stuff to us, so it was indifferent. Actually this one was pretty cute, as far as they go!

A park... *sigh* How nice it would be to go to a park right now....

Hey, I'm here? Really? Still waiting on the house. We are supposed to be closing on Dec. 21st. I have been packing and cleaning and redecorating this house for our oldest son. (he's moving in) We also got a new furbaby on our anniv. Nov. 27th. Two days after bringing her home she came down with kennel cough. And the other two have caught it as well. We have been up to our eye balls in coughing puppies.

Ugh, that stinks! Hope they all get better soon. We brought home a new cat last week. Our cat hates him. I'll give them time but so help me they'd better work it out! The new cat we took in from someone who'd been taking care of it after it showed up on their doorstep earlier in the fall. He's a total lovebug and doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but our other cat suddenly has issues with sharing his home!! He's only been alone for a few months but I guess that was enough. I posted pics of the new guy somewhere on this thread, so you can see him if you back up a bit.

You're lucky you live in the South with that closing date! We closed on this house 5 years ago on December 20th.... and about a day after we moved in, got the first of several huge snow storms!

Let's discuss Christmas. Specifically - What one thing are you excited about GIVING for Christmas ... AND ... What do you WANT for Christmas?

WDW and beyond. spending time w/ my family and creating fun memories, that's what i want. it won't hurt to do Disney shopping either

Well for one thing, I know I want some peace and quiet... The one I'm most excited to give (which would be something I'm also recieving) is the renewal of our Disney APs. Another year of fun!

Wow! We had a small flurry of activity last night and I missed it. Has anyone done any wrapping yet? I've been trying to do DH's as I get his shopping done, that way we can do our last minute "wrapping party" for the girls together. Last year, we had to do it in separate rooms because we hadn't wrapped each others stuff yet.

I'm still trying to get my cards out the door! I do have plenty to wrap at this point, but haven't started. First thing I need to do is clean out the bottom of my closet so I have a place to store the stuff! It tends to be a catch-all for misc. clothing, off-season purses, back packs, etc. But I know there's a floor in there somewhere!

Now back to your regularly scheduled house cleaning...

Hey everyone!! We had to go back to Miami for DD to have eye surgery, but we're back now. Unfortunately, our hotel room didn't have the Travel Channel. Go figure. Luckily I remembered to tape it. Oh yeah, and DD and I saw Enchanted! It was awesome!

I haven't sent my cards out yet, I just ordered them Monday. I hope they get here in time for me to send. I made one with the panoramic picture of the castle and the tree at MK with a picture of us from Epcot looking at Tinkerbell cut out (from my Photopass CD.)

Legomom - how nice that you actually clean the closet before throwing more stuff on top (like I do.) I've got all my presents piled on top of junk.

Leah - hope DD's surgery went well!
