I have only my digital camera that I got myself to wrap. On Sun. if the weather is not to bad, I'll go out and get a memory card and wrap that.

Are you supposed to get the same storm on Sunday that is all the buzz around here?! Nobody will go out on a limb yet and say exactly what's happening, but they keep referring to a "major snow event"!

Morning all! Can you all send some of that cold down here? I'd really like to turn my A/C off otherwise we'll be way off on our electric bills. We budget for high Summer bills and very low Winter bills. But I have the A/C set at 79 and it keeps kicking on during the day. I'm sure it sounds nice to those stuck in freezing temps, but I want a break from the heat! Plus, I have some nice sweaters I'd like to wear.

I can stand the cold (kind of) but what I really miss is SUNSHINE!!!
We haven't seen the sun much this week.

Anywho ... hello all! I haven't started wrapping yet 'cause I haven't bought any presents. I'm a last minute Christmas shopper.

We're in the middle of a whopper of a snowstorm; I expect near 8" before it ends later tonight. THEN!....we get a big ol' fashioned Nor'easter
on Sunday! ( <---- sarcastic smilie...) Oh how I wish we had that wood stove hooked up... Nothing quite so cozy as curling up by the fire with a hot drink and watching the snow come down.

I've been power-scrapping this afternoon - I suddenly realized yesterday that the pile of photos and paper and tools isn't just my latest project waiting for me to return to it - it's MIL's Christmas gift that I need to get finished!! Yikes. I made some good progress before I had to stop and make dinner. I'll get another two or three pages done this evening, and hopefully wrap it up this weekend.

Later on I think I might start wrapping some gifts! Y'all have me inspired. Even if I haven't cleaned out the closet yet....

Boy, I guess you'll be very surprised when you move to FL. It's the polar opposite of what you live in. We're all excited in our house because we have a high of 65 expected Sunday. The result of your Nor'easter probably. But then it goes up again.

We have put some presents under the tree and surprisingly the baby hasn't tried to get them... yet. I have lots more wrapping to do, but most of my presents are bought.

Yeppers. We had sleet/rain/freezing rain today. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as they called for last night. School first had a 2 hr. delay and then cancelled. Noone really knows if we're going to get more snow or more rain on Sat. night/Sun. morning. It all depends on how that coastal low is positioned.

I'm awake! I already ran to Starbucks for a non-fat, iced black and white peppermint mocha. After dropping DD at school. I have to go in to work today for a little bit. But I'll be back to Dis more this afternoon.

Oh! I'm all excited. I have a date tonight with my DH. We got a sitter and we're heading to the Melting Pot. I love fondue. I better eat light all day so I can stuff myself until I explode on cheese, meat and chocolate.

Hey, I didn't mean to scare everyone off! Whats everyone up to this weekend? I finally finished Christmas shopping today. Managed to get everything at Super Target. Nope, didn't even have to go to the mall.

Well, TGIF! I picked up some Chick-Fil-A...I wasn't feeling up to cooking tonight.

You didn't scare me off but all this talk from you Florida people of Starbucks and fun restaurants really bums me out! It's cold and snowy here and 40 minutes to any meaningful shopping....

Not much planned for the weekend. Grocery shopping tomorrow morning, a visit to my mom's in the afternoon, then hunkering down for the storm on Sunday (and a great Patriot's game!....Woo-hoo!).

Will probably take the boys to McDonald's tomorrow while we're out - we just saw that they have Bionicle toys in the Happy Meals!

Didn't scare me off either! My plan for the weekend is to finish up decorating and the Christmas cards. There is talk of a "wintery mix" here for tomorrow afternoon/evening so we'll see. I sort of finished my shopping - only maybe an extra gift or two (in case we get visitors over the holidays). I always like to have an extra gift or two on hand - just in case.

Well, I finally got to sending out the Christmas cards. It was even harder to send them all out then to get a decent picture of teenager twins and a baby, which is quite unbelievably hard.

I'm as round as Pooh. Although, when I went to my Dr. appt. on Wed. the nurse said I lost 8 lbs. since July. And I didn't even try too.

If I wasn't so tall, I'd be pretty Pooh-like myself. Congrats on the weight loss! It's always nice to lose weight without even trying. Maybe it was all the dancing banana moves?

HI SMILEY! Nice to see you stopping in for a bit. I am most definitely staying warm. Though we have a high of 58 predicted for Monday. Yeah, I'll believe it when I feel it. At least our quick trip to see the Osborne lights again tomorrow night will actually feel wintery.
