Disneyland Resort Calendar 2025

Is that normal? The delayed park opening thing?
I think a delayed opening is normal and should be expected on the date of CHOC Walk in August. This is only the second year it's been in the summer. In the old days it was in fall and park hours were different.

Adding in the first and last days of entertainment. Is the following correct?
Halloween Screams begins on August 22 which means that the last day of Wondrous Journeys is on August 21.
World of Color Season of Light begins on November 14 which means that the last day of World of Color Happiness! is on November 13.
Christmas Fantasy Parade begins on November 14. We don't know if PTN will pause on August 22 or on Nov 14. Is that correct?
Believe... In Holiday Magic fireworks is not listed as returning on Nov 14. Are we under the assumption that Wondrous Journeys will return on Nov 1?

Thanks, that makes sense. One of our local school districts does a senior day at Disneyland instead of Grad Nites. Not sure why they do it that way. Maybe it is so kids and chaperones can use their MK.

Over the Holiday weekend, I noticed numerous large groups of graduating high school seniors throughout the park that weren’t part of the Grand Night program. We exited the park around 12:30am on Saturday night (early Sunday) and presumably a teacher was giving an emotional speech to a group of 100+ students.

In my local school district, the students at one school voted for Universal over Disney. I presume this is because many of them have MK and don’t want to pay for an extra ticket. The other schools went with Disney, probably because it’s no cost to them (covered by fundraising).

I booked Dec 6-10, will Candlelight Processional close the parks early or anything? Never been at DL for that
Nope...it'll just be really crowded, with people grabbing spots as soon as they come in the gate, if it's anything like previous years.

I went last year without knowing

Crowds were normal for the time besides main street being a mess but one thing to note was the Train was not back up until after 9 PM and was down from like 5-9 PM sometime thing like that

I know many wont care but we missed riding it at night and seeing small world from behind with all the lights

We have no interest in the actual event so this should be fine for us and might actually help us if everyone is on main st maybe the rides and QS will be empty

Looking at days that MK reservations are filling up:
June 17 for Disneyland - likely because June 16 & 18 are Pride Nites so Disneyland closes early
June 19 for both parks. Is this because of VidCon or is something else going on?
July 9 for Disneyland - Why?
August 4 both parks - first day back for Enchant
August 22 - beginning of HalloweenTime

We did a staycation this past week and the people at the hotel said that one of their busiest weeks was during the Natural Products Expo. Has anyone been to it or heard of it?
Yes my husband has been a both a presenter and attendee there. It is a massive expo! It has everything from food ingredients to finished food products and it is a world-wide expo. Presenters and attendees will be there from all over the world, and hotel rates are just crazy around that area for that week. I tagged along one year and went to Disneyland of course. :) That year my husband was an attendee and logged more steps getting around the show than I did at the parks!

Next year is March 3-6, 2026.

Thanks! I'll add it to the calendar as an event that will likely impact crowds in the parks.
