No worries. I am owned by 3 cats. Well, 2 1/2. Goofy isn't a normal cat, he doesn't have the 'tude most cats do. Plus, he likes to jump in the bath when the girls are in there.

Wow, that is different! Pippin did that. Once. And I stress, once...! He's really funny looking when he's all soaking wet.

That reminds me of our dog. Yesterday we caught him actually trying to walk on 2 feet and he expects a plate of food to be made for him when everyone else is serving dinner. . .

Then I guess I'm just too serious.

I'm embarrassed to have people eat with us because our furbabies think they are supposed to at the table to. Sometimes we even hold their paws while we say grace.

I'll be signing off soon myself. One of my cats has taken it upon herself to act as my hat this eveing. And my neck's starting to hurt. She's, um, hefty.

So, I'm watching a commercial right now. Paula Deen is in it. Have you guys ever watch her on the Food Network? I don't know how this woman is still alive. Her recipes call for so much sugar and fat I just can't comprehend it. Somehow, even things that are supposed to be generally healthy, the woman can turn into a 10,000 calorie-a-thon.

"Hi, I'm Paula Deen and today we're going to make fruit smoothies. Ok, so to start, lets get two sticks of butter, a cup of sugar and 3 cups of heavy cream into the blender..."

Seriously. My heart turned in its resignation the last time I watched her make a sandwich.

I know what you mean about Paula Deane. Everytime I watch her I can see her arteries harding.

Her two sons are absolutely gorgeous.

My eldest just took her last round of antibiotics for the strep throat. I am so glad to be finished with that mess. And I was a good mommy for once--she took every drop of the bottle of meds.

No, but we do serve him a plate just like everyone else in the family at mealtimes. He absolutely loves chicken, rice, and corn.

I like that.

I've told a few people that if they are afraid of dog slobber, they may not want to come to my house. That way I feel they were warned and were given a choice not to come. My mother hardly comes over anyway but now that she knows slobber is a possibility, I see her even less. It's funny how she had an italian greyhound that would go to the bathroom all over her house and she lived with that, but she doesn't want to come over to my house b/c some drool may touch her. I guess cleaning up pee all over your rugs is ok but don't ever let a little drool come near you.

Which is exactly why I don't own a dog!!!


Cats are far more like teenagers, except they can't talk back (at least in words...!).... We are here to serve them, they'll obey if they feel like it, and will sleep all day if you let them!
