I like that.

I've told a few people that if they are afraid of dog slobber, they may not want to come to my house. That way I feel they were warned and were given a choice not to come. My mother hardly comes over anyway but now that she knows slobber is a possibility, I see her even less. It's funny how she had an italian greyhound that would go to the bathroom all over her house and she lived with that, but she doesn't want to come over to my house b/c some drool may touch her. I guess cleaning up pee all over your rugs is ok but don't ever let a little drool come near you. :rotfl2:

I used to have to do that.... During thunderstorms. We had an old dog once, and he was the greatest thing in every way except he was terrified of storms. Now, that's not such an uncommon thing with dogs, but this dog couldn't just sit and cower or hide under something. No, he had to wander ALL over the house, and he leaked pee as he went... So, there's me with the disinfectant spray and roll of paper towels, following him around until the storm was over....

.

Which is exactly why I don't own a dog!!!:rotfl2:

Cats are far more like teenagers, except they can't talk back (at least in words...!)....:lmao: We are here to serve them, they'll obey if they feel like it, and will sleep all day if you let them!

I'll take toddlers over teenagers any day!! :rotfl:

Poor guy was scared. My brother has an elderly dog that leaks pee when she sleeps or when she slips. Things like that I completely understand. My mothers dog just didn't feel like going outside so would sneek off in the other room to pee. She did this all the time for YEARS. She was VERY stubborn. She would poop in the house if it was raining. She didn't like getting her feet wet. She was friendly; I'll give her that. My mother now has 2 other small dogs.

It's so hard when they get old.

He really is beautiful. Where did you find him?

He came from a small breeder in southern NH. I actually ended up with him by chance. I had responded to an ad for a part-Scottish fold that had straight ears. There ended up being a mix up with someone else who had also replied re: that kitten, so the lady offered me this guy instead! I didn't pay a thing for him. I have no papers on him or anything, but he's obviously that breeding. He turned out to be such a neat little cat!

If I ever own another cat it will be a male. I don't think females are as friendly.

I have 2 cats, male and female. Both are friendly, but the male is my special guy. He acts more like a dog and is very attatched to me. I am partial to male cats. I admit it.

:thumbsup2 I agree. I've got a toddler, I don't need a perpetual one (other than DH.) Plus, with our frequent trips to Disney, we'd spend a fortune for dog sitters. With the cats, we throw out a few bowls of food and water, clean their boxes, and head out (after making sure they can't pee on my bed if they get mad.)

That's great. It's wonderful when you end up with an awsome cat. I've had typical cats but only a few really awsome ones. Come to think of it, all my special ones have been male. I should add that my female I have now is very loving and affectionate, but she has really taken to my husband. My male cat acts like my dogs, like I am the greatest thing on earth. My son says its sickening and that he is obsessed with me. :rotfl:

I agree, cats are without a doubt, much easier than dogs. A lot less expensive too.

I come here in search of a tag, and I get all this cat talk? :rotfl2:

I could use a new tag, anywho. AND MAKE IT GREEN OR ELSE I'LL MAKE YOUR FACE GREEN.

Oh wait, no...

... made no sense. Sorry. :hyper:

Cat talk?!?!!....that's nothing - you should have been last night for the in-depth pee discussion!:rotfl2:

Like I say to all new-comers on this thread, we're an odd lot, but we have fun and you are more than welcome to join in!!

I see you are like us now, tagged but wanting more! My latest quest is for a scrolling/animated tag.... Greedy, I know, but I can't help it.;)

Yeah, what pee said, I mean she said.

I'm on a campaign to get a whole zoo scrolling with my "a whole zoo" tag. Wouldn't it look cute to see a bunch of animals just rolling through?

Oh lord.

I'm not new, I lurk here a lot. I've actually been here a few times. But you guys are too fast for me. I stay in the safe sanctuary of the TBdom.

But yeah, I want a smiley tag next :D
