Our gas is about $2.26. I think I'll fill up tomorrow, just in case.

I'm so happy! Rainy season has started. We're getting our afternoon thunderstorms, which means we're getting some relief from the drought. Though the thunder scares my 3 year old. She hides in our bed with us until it ends. I personally love the sound.

Clearing is a lot of work, but it's the kind of work we enjoy. That usually comes with plenty of burning and we like that too.

Gas is $2.34 here.

I need to bring my son to the orthodontist soon. Then he is finally getting a haircut. His bangs are to the tip of his nose and you can't see his eyes.

OMG, my daughter graduates 1 month from today!

It started to rain as soon as I left the house....

I forgot my umbrella today. Of course it rains. I had to literally go to the store at lunch and buy new clothes to finish out the day. I am not joking.

I had my first Disney trip nightmare last night. I dreamed I only packed underwear and socks for the children. Is it my subconscious telling me to start packing already? I might need an intervebtion. . .

I had my first Disney trip nightmare last night. I dreamed I only packed underwear and socks for the children. Is it my subconscious telling me to start packing already? I might need an intervebtion. . .

For my DD that would be a dream cause it'd mean a total Disney wardrobe.

I have a doctor's appointment and about 4 hours of Lost to catch up on. Though I am considering putting off Lost to check out the new Ikea store in Tampa.

This weekend is my daughter's final dance show. Next weekend is Prom. June 6, my son's 14th b-day. June 12th Senior Class Night where they give out all the scholarships instead of doing it at Graduation. June 14th Graduation. June 19th, my best friend and her family from Memphis stay at my house for the night before getting their rental for the week. June 20th, my daughter;s graduation party. June 22, 8th Grade Celebration Awards Night. July 1st my daughters 18th b-day. PHEW, I think that's it. So much painting and repair work to do in this house before her party, it makes me sick to think about it. I guess I better stop wasting time thinking about it and get moving on it SOON.

Well, I took out a restraining order today. Remember the kid who threw furniture at me in January? Well, his family has been contacting me indirectly to get me to get the Solicitor to drop charges. I filed a protective order to request that they not contact me anymore. I further told the solicitor that I agreed that the charges should stick to get that kid some help. I understand he's 11, but he threw a table and 2 chairs at me, kicked me, head butted me, and cursed at me! The kid needs help and the family refuses to take him to counseling because they were offended that the counselor wanted family/group counseling. Maybe a judge can order it.

We're heading to a pool party both days this weekend, if the weather holds out for us. Other than that, not much planned.

Good news, we just renewed our Disney passes! We went for the seasonal passes again. If we end up needing to go over the Summer during black out times, we can upgrade then. I have family that may visit Disney this Summer, so that will be a factor in upgrading.

You are doing what's right for the child. Is he autistic? It sounds like his parents aren't getting him the help he needs to function in regular society.

He's not autistic. I assessed him myself. There is a problem though, that indicates maybe a mental disorder. Childhood schizophrenia is a possibility, but as I'm not a psychiatrist, I can't make that call. I just know he needs help. Severe ADHD is definitely there, I can say.

So many parents don't want to admit there is something wrong with their child. But by not doing anything, they are making life harder on their child. My DD used to have violent outbursts when she was younger. But thanks to therapy and medicine, she's able to handle her emotions much better. She still has issues and always will, but as parents, we need to do as much as we can to help her function in normal society (where throwing chairs isn't accepted - my dd did that too, not at anyone though.)

Come to think of it, my daughter threw a chair at me once. Since she has been taking medication for mild depression, nothing like that has happened again.
