My swimsuit has a full, attached skirt. Will I need a coverup, and if so, would an oversized t-shirt be ok instead?

Thanks for your answers PizzieDuster & PrincessShmoo. No, it's not for the MDR. I thought I had read threads that said that a coverup is needed for walking from the room to the pool.
Just FYI... I bought a great cover-up on board. It's white terry cloth with pockets and a hood that's black and white with printed mickey heads. It zips up (with a mickey zipper pull), and has the embroidered cruise line emblem in black. I love it! It was $40.

Thank you for the responses.
As for feeling out of place, I anticipate feeling out of place the entire cruise.![]()

We have a very tight budget right now (the cruise is through Make A Wish, there is no way we could afford it on our own). I have checked our local stores (we live in a tiny rural area, so any stores are 30 miles away, and not much of a selection) & I have only been able to find 2 coverup options in my size. One was $30, and the other is shorter than my swimsuit, and just ties around the neck, so I really don't see a point to it since it doesn't even cover my swimsuit.
Being cold is definitely a concern though.
