Checked into the Swan today. Room is gorgeous, my king no view was upgraded to balcony. I can see the boat dock from my room. They gave me a robe too.

Sounds like you got a room in the Core section between the west wing, and the east wing. We love that area looking out at the Friendship boat dock, and the Dolphin. If you look off your balcony the next room on either side should be a 2 Queen room without a balcony.

It also makes it easy to take both sets of elevators, West / East. We often only take the West wing elevators for walking from the Swan, and the East Wing when going out the front lobby for non-friendship transportation.

Amex Travel gave me $150 resort credit that got put to good use at Bourbon Steak. Everything I had was phenomenal. NY strip the best steak I’ve had on property. Jalapeño creamed corn was amazing. Mocktail refreshing and not too sweet. Service was a cut above too.

Overheard btw they are taking DVC discounts but not AP at this time.

Always so happy to hear your reports! And we have dinner reservations at Bourbon Steak in 1 1/2 weeks so I'm super glad to hear you enjoyed it! You are always right on in your reviews for how my mind thinks

Sky opened up when I was at AK, around 11a or so. It stopped long before I left the park but it looks like it’ll start up again any time now. Thankfully I have rain gear but it’s nice to know they’ve got you covered in a pinch!

Yes a Family room (Alcove) room at the Swan would have a similar configuration to the Suite King Bed One Bedroom (Swan Reserve).

There is an updated anchor page: https://swandolphin.com/accommodations/ that shows all 3 resorts, and the room names sort of all mixed in but again it is still very confusing to navigate.

The (2) room types that @MagicallyEmilyLouise was asking about are at the Swan Reserve. And yes they still have crazy room names even at the Swan Reserve. I guess they just wanted to keep us confused.
