Surprise... It's Someday!! A Dec 2010 PTR!!

I LOVE THE PICTURES!!!

I seriously can't wait to see those adorable little faces in person :banana::banana:. Oh and meet you too :rotfl:.

My DD (6) wanted to paint her pumpkin with pink giltter glue! and I let her:lmao: We set it outside and the next night it rained and wouldn't you know.....No more giltter glue:confused3 Kadence was mad! LOL

Looks like you had a great weekend!

I am so glad the Sharpie stayed put. I know I would have had one disappointed little girl if her "face" had washed off. It is setting on the edge of our porch and gets the weather everyday but has yet to wash off.

It really was a great weekend. I would be one happy lady if every weekend was like that!

Ya, ya, ya... I see where I rate! :rotfl2: Lets hope they aren't in the middle of a meltdown when we see you! :lmao:

As I promised, I did get the corn maze pictures and Halloween costume pictures on photobucket. I think sometimes photobucket just plays around with me to see how much I will take! :lmao:

Here are the kids and Jon just at the enterance of the corn maze. Brenda is eager to get moving. She is always in motion...ALWAYS!!! :rotfl:

IMG_2412.jpg

Doesn't Gavin look like the Brawny paper towel guy in that shirt?!? I LOVE IT!!! It's too cute!! :rotfl2:

Then just at the entrance there was a giant painted ear of corn to stick your head in... Well, who could pass that up?! :rotfl:

IMG_2416.jpg

Finally... at last... we are off to the corn maze, to get lost, time and time again! :rotfl: I love this first picture. Brenda is convinced she knows which way we need to go!

IMG_2423.jpg

Then we come across this old rusted truck. They had some scary displays through out the corn maze. This one had a guys legs under it... But even still, Gavin was sure it was Mater!!! He was just getting a check up Gavin said. I have to admit if it had been a tow truck it really would have looked like mater in the middle of the corn maze.

IMG_2463.jpg

All in all, we found our way around to all the different areas in the corn maze. We had a great time, and got quite a bit of exercise! The kids fell asleep in the car on the way home. We all had a great time though.

**********************************************************
The other pictures I wanted to post tonight were of the kids in their Halloween costumes. Thursday night was Trick or Treat at the mall. That is where we usually take the kids. It's just a great, SAFE, time for the little kids. Brenda and Gavin got a HUGE bag of candy. I had gotten the reusable Halloween bags from the Disney store and they really were at least 1/2 way full.... and pretty heavy. By the end of the night they were both dragging their bags! :rotfl:

Here is my sweet Silvermist. I know, I am so partial but I think she is the cutest Silvermist ever!! I had curled her hair to frame her face but this was after we were at the mall for a little while...and boy was it warm inside!

IMG_2497.jpg

And, here is my handsome little man dressed at a dragon. It got warm after a while so he had to put the hood down.. but he was so cute too!

IMG_2498.jpg

Here is a picture of love of the 2 of them... It looks like they are sharing some great secret. I am sure there will be tons of secret sharing as they grow up... BOY, AM I IN TROUBLE!!!! :rotfl:

IMG_2499.jpg

So, the award for the cutest Silvermist and most handsome Dragon in this CrAzY families goes to Brenda and Gavin!!! (I know, i'm partial!)

Ya, ya, ya... I see where I rate! :rotfl2: Lets hope they aren't in the middle of a meltdown when we see you! :lmao:

It's ok if they have a breakdown when we are around. I have been known to have them in WDW too, just ask Bill :rolleyes1.

At least you are willing to admit it! :lmao: Me on the other hand... well, not so much! :rotfl2: I am sure if there are meltdowns from the kids its because they are too tired. I know its gonna be hard to not have them go, go, go... It'll be tough to slow them down before they are exhausted... or is that "it'll be tough to slow me down before we are all exhausted"??? :rotfl:

Awww they are so cute in their costumes!!! especially Silvermist, she's my fav... don't tell Gavin

I wish I knew where there was a corn maze around here cause that looks cool

Love the pictures. Looks like a fun weekend. I love the costumes too. I can't wait for Claire to go trickortreating tonight...so I can have some candy! :rolleyes1

Loved the pictures!! Your kids are just adorable.

Thank You!

Shhh... I love Silvermist too! Although, Gavin makes a cute Dragon and had the ROARdown pat!

I corn maze was awesome! It took us maybe 2 hours to get through it... maybe a little longer. It is a pretty nice one but I have been to a HUGE one B.C. (before children) that is about 3 hours from here. It took us the better part of a whole day. At one point I had to wonder if I would ever get out, so this one was nice for the kids. We knew there was always an end somewhere! :lmao:

The kids went Trick or Treating at the Mall and then yesterday the preschool Brenda goes to went trick or treating at school. Her Preschool is in a high school. It is part of a Child development program that runs through the school. The high school students are ones that are considering early childhood education. So every year they go trick or treating through the high school and all the teachers give the little kids treats. She came home with ANOTHER HUGE bag of candy. There is no way we will ever eat all this candy! :rotfl:

Hello all my loyal readers! I wanted to stop in and wish you all a Happy Halloween! I am hoping that the Ghouls don't come and get any of you and carry you off. Who would read my PTR if that happened???? :lmao:

As far as we go here, I am so glad that we did our Trick or Treating at the mall. Gavin is having a rough day. I am hoping he perks up enough later to put him in his costume and take the kiddos to see my aunt. That is usally the only house we Trick Or Treat at. We already have enough candy here to not need to buy any for at least 6 months. The kids got tons at the mall and then Brenda's preschool trick or treated and she got another HUGE bag. I think we should be set. :rotfl:

I know I don't have to tell you all again but Gavin's surgery is next Monday. I so can't wait till its over with because it is like his is almost instantly doing better and will last for several months. Today is a rough day. He still can't shake this cold and is having some stomach issues... So bad in fact that we couldn't make it to Church this morning. Poor little guy. I just pray that this cold goes away so he can have surgery next Monday.

Poor little guy:hug: I'll be adding him to my prayers, and I hope everything goes well with his surgery.

So I just read through all 21 pages and I must say you have adorable kids. We are going to be there the same time, 2-11, and are planning on at least one of the same dismeets as you! When I was reading through, I had a few suggestions that I didn't see anyone else say.

For your first day I would also recommend an easy day at DTD. When you are at the Contemporary if you are still there at Wishes time you can head out to the observation deck (2nd floor i think) and watch.
The next day when you have your appointments I would bring some extra clothes for the kids to change into in case their costumes get itchy or in the way. I know I am all about comfort when doing that much walking!
On day 4 I would skip the parade at Animal Kingdom if you are just going for the parade. You could have up to 2 hours of travel time getting there and back which can be very draining. Starting at Epcot and ending at MK is a great idea. We are doing the same thing that day.
My last suggestion would be to bring clothspins to hold the curtains closed on the days you want to sleep in.

So far you have a great plan and I know you will have a wonderful time! Good luck with the surgery. I'll be praying for him.

Thanks for all the info. I am actually thinking about taking more time that day in AK. I just realized I don't have much time there over the whole course of the trip. Maybe I am thinking I will like this park the least! :rotfl:

Thanks too for the clothespin advice. I just added that to my multitude of lists I am making!

Great maze and halloween pictures. The kids look adorable.
Thanks! I think they are keepers too! :rotfl2:

Thanks Carey. We'll take all the prayers we can get!

My oh my, did I get a big surprise from Jon tonight. As he was walking out the door he looks back and says "You know, 4 weeks from this very minute we will be leaving for Disney!" He was so excited!!! Wow! Ok, I know to all my readers that doesn't sound to surprising. It is indeed 4 weeks from this very time that we are planning on leaving. I guess it would help to explain Jon's personality to you...

Jon and I are POLAR OPPOSITES when it comes to vacations. All the planning, for any trip, is left up to me. Its not really his thing to get excited before the trip get here... especially not 4 weeks ahead. Me, on the other hand, I am totally into the whole planning thing. On the smaller trips we have taken I tend to plan almost to the minute what we were doing. When I try to discuss these plans with Jon he just kind of looks at me like "Whatever". For me, planning is half the excitement of going on vacation... no matter where you are going! Once the vacation is over, I tend to hit a wall and come smacking back to reality. Jon, well he tends to be excited and ride the wave after a vacation. Telling people all about it and is completely rejuvenated. So that is why his being excited tonight and reminding me that we were leaving in exactly 4 weeks was a HUGE thing! And, well, as far as my smacking back to reality this time... I am already starting to think of the TR! :rotfl: I really do think this Disney trip has us all mixed up!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: It was so cute to see him so excited for the trip...even if he was headed off to work! He has really been into helping with the planning too... well, as much as he can be. He actually has been having input!!! :woohoo:

The only problem with his excitement tonight is it puts me in a little bit of a panic!
I only have 4 weeks to get EVERYTHING done!!!!!!!!!!!! :scared1:

lol that is great that Jon is excited.... I get excited too!!!

Have you started making lists? Packing lists, things you need to do before you leave lists?

Only 4 weeks, you better get movin' :lmao: NO I hear you I will hit that in January and be freaking out. I am a list maker too, so the lists will start flowing.

I hear you on the excitement from Jon. Luckily my husband, Dan is into it quite a bit, not near as much as me. But he's done with the excitement or talking about it til it's paid off, then he'll get back into it.

I am so sorry Gavin isn't feeling well, sweet little guy I hope he feels better very soon.

That is so great about Jon getting excited already. Bill and I are like you and Jon, I do the planning with Bill just being laid back. This trip is different for him to, he mentions the castle suite every single day.

I am a little panicked with being at the 4 week mark, but we will both make it :thumbsup2.

I had to show you what I got in the mail today:

If you don't know what they are.....

:banana: THEY ARE YOUR MVMCP TICKETS!!:banana:

I was jumping around after I got them out of the mailbox. So now we need to PM as to how you want me to get them to you. I am so happy you get to go to the party!!

I love that Jon is giving me some input this trip. I may make him do it on every trip from now on! :lmao:

I am list maker extraordinaire!! I make lists of lists! In fact, I usually make multiple lists so that I can compare them. Yes, I am one CrAzY woman! :rotfl:

I know! I have to get my rear in gear!! I don't think it would be so bad if it weren't for Gavin's surgery next week (if that can still happen :sad2: ), Thanksgiving and wanting to be decorated for Christmas before we go. Not to mention all the things I need to get done for Church with the holiday on us. I am ion the steering committee for our MOPS group at Church and they will have 2 meets while I am gone so I have tons of things to get done and pass along so that it is there for their meeting... even if I am not!

I do think Jon has set himself up for having input on ALL future trips. We never do anything really big like DIsney but he can help now when we do what used to be our normal vacations! He'll love me so much when the next trip comes up! :rotfl:

I think Bill and Jon have a lot in common.. Not real help planning, till you use the D word. :lmao: I was also looking through an older TR of yours and see that you all went to Star Wars weekend. Jon is a big fan too! I am actually using that to get him to plan a trip for my 40th b-day... 5 years from now. My birthday will fall, most likely, around Star Wars weekend! Gotta love those June birthdays!!!!! Hopefully it will work. 5 years in not long to wait... Just think of all the planning I can do! :rotfl: Seriously, though, I know a lot has to work out in 5 years for that to happen... So I will take this trip and remember how very lucky I am!

Ok, next to my babies those might be the happiest sites I have seen yet!!! :rotfl: I was sitting here when the picture showed before I read and I KNEW that had to be them!! I started giggling and jumping in my chair... and scared Jon half to death! :rotfl2: I told him I just saw an awesome site and he had to come see. I had to explain that they were our tickets. Can't wait till our mail goes today to see if we get the kid's tickets.

I ended up having to take Gavin to the drs today. That cough is getting worse and worse and I knew that something would have to be done. So, I was able to get him in this afternoon. Gavin has a severe sinus infection on top of everything else. The dr put him on the heaviest dosage of amox that his little body can stand. IF it doesn't greatly improve by next Monday he will not be able to have his surgery. The next time he can get in is AFTER CHRISTMAS. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Hopefully we will see some improvement and we can keep on the plan. This would really throw wrench into the works. My heart skipped a beat when the pediatrician told me that. He will most likely have to be on the amox the rest of the month into December. When Gavin gets sick it tends to be worse than your average child. My poor little guy!
