Marathon Weekend 2026

They did actually drop a sneaky hint of what it *might* be, but we won't know for sure until race week most likely. They posted a merch reveal vid on social media and for some peculiar reason, at one point they open a cabinet to show the Stitch sneaker, right behind it you could catch a glimpse of a Chip n Dale plush. Does it mean anything? Who knows!

W&D shoes were posted on the day before the usual race shirt reveal, expecting the same this time. So... Monday for shoes, Tuesday for shirts?

I have seen the speculation that it could be Chip n Dale related, but I’m not sure what that would look like on a shoe. Brown? I did find a brown brooks shoe, so maybe??? It just doesn’t seem as exciting to me, but maybe it would appeal to others.

They have not, but this *may* depend on what sort of xray technology your airport has.

This have *have* gotten my carry-on flagged include a bag of liquid IV (it was seriously the zip bag it comes in), medals, and a wine key/bottle opener (whoops!)

Thinking of bringing my massage gun with me. Anyone have any issues packing these on their carry-ons?

I have traveled with a regular size one without issues, but they have stupid heavy and actually have to be in your carry-on due to the lithium battery in it. On one of the Prime Days a couple of years ago, I bought a crazy cheap mini that works just as well and is about a quarter of the size/weight.

Our airport has the upgraded technology (I'm not sure what committee our Congressman is on, but we always get the new toys first) and have had my bag flagged for more random stuff than ever. Twice it was for freezing applesauce packets to use as ice packs (yes, they had just come out of the freezer and they were solid), some baked goods, and - here's my favorite - a brass bell that I was taking to someone as a gift. The bell was the craziest thing because they knew exactly what they were looking for (the inspector told me) and it was clear as day on the screen that it was a bell. Why they flagged it was beyond me.

Sorry to ask a similar question to one I've posted before. I'm still stuck on photos for this weekend.

If I buy Memory Maker, will I be able to link to a bunch of runner's bibs? Is there a different photo package worth considering? I can't get over the price, but we have a bunch of people running and I've decided not to get an annual pass with the photo add on (the math doesn't work for me no matter how hard I squint).
