We are going back to WDW to get use out of our annual passes this fall.... When would be the best time to go.. Sept, Oct (Ive heard this isnt a good time) or Nov.. our goal is the least crowds....

Please tell me your experiences if youve been there at that time of the year....

Thanks!!

I would vote for September. The kids here in FL go back to school around the 3rd week in August, and the Northerners usually go back Labor Day week. It's still warm in September, but not unbearably so and the crowds are pretty much down.

We went this past November the week before Thanksgiving and it was perfect!! The weather was wonderful, the crowds were light and we got to do everything we wanted (when the 3 year old was behaving and my morning sickness was behaving!!! hehe)

We left on Nov. 15 and returned on Nov. 23 and the next time I go it will be during that same week. By that saturday before thanksgiving the crowds were picking up, but it was not really that bad even then!!

The weather was nice too, I had a hard time being able to buy myself a sweat shirt because it was so warm!

Hope you find a date that works for you!!

For low crowds I would suggest mid-Sept. We went in 2002 and walked onto mostly everything. Only drawback was it was JUNGLE HOT and HUMID.

For fantastic weather I would highly recommend Nov. we have been several times and have found it to be extemely comfortable. Lines are not bad at all, but you will have waits. Just try to plan around NJ teachers week/Soap Weekend and Thanksgiving week it will be crowded these weeks.

Have a great trip!

My mom went over Columbus Day and said she would never go that week again. We went Halloween week and weather was beautiful, crowds very manageable, not bad at all. We've also gone the first week in November, similar to last week of October, and the week before Thansgiving. We hit pretty cool weather but you couldn't beat the lack of crowds. We liked it. We have friends that go in September that say lack of crowds is great but it is HOT!

I have never been in Oct and Nov, but we love September. The crowds are low (especially toward the middle-end), it's still warm (I love heat and humidity) and we've never had much rain in the three years we've been at this time of year.

The one draw back is that Spectro usually only runs on Saturday and the parks close early. However, the crowds are so low, there's no need to be in the parks from 7 a.m to midnight. We enjoy our evenings by going to Epcot, renting a bike on the Boardwalk, a later dinner at DTD, Disneyquest, and even miniature golf (they are usually open till 11).

Have fun!

If your passes will last, I would suggest the week after Thanksgiving. The crowds are really, really low then.

I've been there late Oct/early Nov & really liked the crowds & weather. I HATE humidity and usually go in the summer, since I work in a school, but I don't like the weather then. However, since I'm used to Disneyland's late hours, it's hard to get used to the short park hours in Oct & Nov.
