Suggestions Needed Nov.26-Dec.3

We are just starting to plan a trip to Florida since our Cancun trip was cancelled due to the Hurricanes. We just decide to go to Florida from Nov.26 - Dec.3. My wife and I have a 2 year old son and we have never been to Disney before.

Can anyone offer any suggestions as far as what would be the best things to see and do at Disney with a 2 year old and how many days for Disney you think we would need. Also any other suggestions to do in the area with our 2 year old (we are staying at a resort about 4 miles away from Disney).

Also, I read about the Cristmas Party and that sounds great. DO we need a park ticket plus a party ticket or if we use the day ticket that day the party is included?

We would appreciate and comments and suggestions.

If you go to the MK on a day of a MVMCP, the park will "close" for you at 6. Your day's admission does not include the party. However, if you only have a MVMCP ticket for the day, you can arrive around 4PM and stay for the party. There is a time between 6 and 7 when you will be asked to stay in a particular area while the day guests leave and the get ready for the party.

PS. We've changed our vacation plans because of the huricane damage in Mexico as well. I hope that area recovers soon.
