Ok..I still need one more dinner option anywhere in "the world" for our first night in Disney. (Now that we have added a night) Here's our PS's so far. All are for Dinner:

Chef Mickeys
Crystal Palace
Hollywood and Vine
Sci Fi

Our first night will prob be spent either in Epcot (mainly to see illuminations..that's one firework show we've never seen before) or Animal Kingdom. We don't mind travel to a resort if someone knows a good dinner idea there too. Our travel party consists of me (who will eat pretty close to anything) my DH (who is pretty picky) and my DS (age 2 1/2- who will eat anything his Daddy eats)

You guys are the best!

I Epcot I would say Chefs de fRance. Or eat around the world we love the counter service place at Epcot.

The AK usually closes early but if you happen to be there at dinner time the Flame Tree is a CS (counter service) with very good BBQ food (ribs, chicken etc). If your over in Epcot you may want to try Teppanyaki (in Japan). It is a habatchi style meal usually with chicken, steak or seafood. So the food is pretty normal (no wierd stuff that your kids wouldn't eat) and your kids would get a kick out of the "show" that the chef puts on (Benihana style)!! :cutie:

If you go to AK go to AKL for dinner, either at Boma or Jiko.

If you go to Epcot, go to Le Cellier, and I also really like San Angel Inn.

Here's my 2 cents:

Chef Mickeys -- Worst meal I ever had on property. I'd go back for breakfast, but not again for dinner.
Crystal Palace -- This is a great place to dine. Food & service are great!
Sci Fi -- Was quite disappointed here the last 2 times I dined. I would strongly recommend dining at the 50's Primetime, as the food and the service are excellent!!

I would also recommend getting a ps around 7:30pm at the Rose & Crown in EPCOT if you can. This is a great place to dine and view Illuminations. If you can't get a PS, then I'd recommend Le Cellier for an early dinner, then head over either towards the entrance to Future World or over by Morocco or the American Adventure. Even better is over by Italy.

Anywhere in the World...hmmm?

I'm going to say 'Ohana. The atmosphere is lovely and the view of the fireworks is excellent.

Have a wonderful trip.

Terk1- Thanks for you suggestions! I heard alot of bad stuff about Chef Mickey's last october..but decided to try it anyway. Honestly it was one of the highlights of our trip. The character interaction was great and we really liked the food. I've heard some of the same stuff about Sci-Fi...be we are still going to try it..hopefully we will have the same result as with CM.

I have heard so many great things about Le Cellier, that I think I am leaning towards it for dinner. I'm really excited about seeing illuminations. Thanks for your suggestions on where best to view it. It's the only firework show we haven't seen in WDW and we heard it rivals Fantasmic. (which is my all time favorite.)

All you you guys are AWESOME!!! Keep the ideas coming!
