If you bring the Bounce "color-catcher" sheets you can do whites and colors in the same load

I pack for the whole time and on top of that take two changes of clothes for both my husband and myself. I'm on vacation and I'm not cooking or washing! I do enough of that at home!

I usually pack enough undies for two days more than my stay is but will max out at 7 pairs. Other than that I pack for about 4 or 5 days of clothes...enough so that I only need to do laundry once.

Personally I don't mind doing loads if we are in a 1-2 bedroom.
DW does 95% of the wash at home, so it is not a problem for me do do this on vacation. Have not yet used Washer/Dryers will in a studio. Upcoming trip is 6 nights in a studio at BW, so I may get the chance

We also do laundry while their. Even in the studio DH is an early riser so he would do a load before everyone got up and going. In the 1 & 2 bedrooms it is even more convenient.

We are going to HH in a 1 BR for a few days and I plan on doing at least one load of beach towels while there.

We pack for 2 days and wash. The 4 of us can travel in one checked bag and 2 carry ons.

Hubby and kids think I am nuts but I allow only 3 shorts, underwear, socks, t-shirts, tank tops etc. Everyday before we leave we throw a load in and change it to the dryer when we come back for a break. Everyone always has clean clothes and with 5 of us we don't have to bring down too many suitcases.

I found that when I let them pack what they wanted they ended up wearing their favorites anyway. Plus if you are limited in what you bring with you it is the perfect excuse to purchase more Disney clothes!!
