Just jumped on to look at wait times and crikey the times are crazy long already. It'll only get worse over the next 3 weeks:

Safaris @ 120 minutes
Dinosaur @ 80 minutes
Everest @ 65 minutes

RnR @ 90 min.
Star Tours @ 50 min
TofT @ 80 min.
Toy Story @ 90 min.

MK
7DMT - 110 min.
BTMRR - 55 min.
HM - 50 min.
IASW - 30 min.
PP - 70 min.
Pirates - 60 min.
Space - 105 min.
Splash - 75 min.

Epcot isn't horrible, but I think a lot of people might be avoiding since Soarin' is closed
Journey 30 min.
TT - Closed but was 70 min.
SSE - 20 min.

Yeah I looked on MDE today too and was shocked at wait times.
Isn't it early for spring break?

I still don't understand the mentality that GETS lines this long.

For a line to get 120 minutes long, a lot of people (more people than are getting off the ride) have to get in a line when it is already 90-110 minutes long.

Who makes the decision "I want to spend 1/6 of my time today in this park (approximately 2 of my 12 hours) waiting in line for ONE ride?"

I wonder how much Fast Pass plays into this ..

Do people get into a line that says "30 minute wait" .. but a FLOOD of people show up in the FP line ... (since FPs have an open window and many windows can overlap, potentially a lot of people COULD show up at the exact same time) .. but the FP people make them wait longer than that 30 minutes because they have priority?

So even though the Standby line is short (number of people in it) .. the actual wait time is long because the FP line is clogged?

This happens to us all the time at Splash. The wait ends up being considerably longer than posted and the FP line seems to be flowing with people.

I know those wait times are long, but I don't feel like they are shockingly so. We travel during spring break almost yearly so we feel like this is the norm. It is mid-day, afterall, and everyone talks about how RD is the only way to go.....

Here in the midwest, most of our schools are out this week along with a major university. Our school goes out next week. So not early at all.

It is March break in Ontario, Canada. That is why we went a few weeks ago before the bigger crowds! :)

There are also a ton of high school music groups there right now. On Saturday I saw at least 6 different band/orchestra groups just in MK (not including the 3 bands who actually performed). That, plus several cheer groups, and many senior (both hs and college) trips happening.

If the music program doesn't go full force for the next three weeks, then that should at least help stabilize the times

It's also why we're going the first 2 weeks of May (driving down with 4 kids under 8). Sandwiched between the March Break and Memorial Day crowds.

This is exactly what I always wonder myself. Lol

Definitely adding March to list of months to never visit WDW

Is March worse than June?
Or same?

We've done both, and March was definitely more crowded than June. It was even more crowded than when we went right before Christmas. Not saying I'd never go again in March, but definitely know what you are getting into and plan accordingly.

At Disney now and the crowds have definitely arrived. Thursday- Saturday weren't bad but yesterday and today the crowds have been noticeably larger.

We walked past Jungle Cruise today around 1245 and the wait was 110 minutes. That's when we decided it was time to head back to our resort for swimming and relaxing.

This is correct. We live in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex and almost all the schools are out this week. Our hometown ones definitely are.

Woohoo! Hoping for a low-crowd first week in April. Looks like we have covered the Canadians and the Texans and the band and cheer groups and the Easter vacationers.

Maybe everyone will have already been to Disney by the end of March? :bitelip:
