**spoilers*** Lost Season Five **spoilers**

It was a little confusing but what I mean is that the events do actually happen to everyone involved in the past, its just that the memory of the event does not occur in the non time travelers mind until the point in the future that the time traveler actually goes back in time and makes it happen. So if I am alive in 1990 and still alive in 2005 I will not have a memory of an encounter with a time traveler who I encountered in 1990 until the time travel in 2005. So from 1990 till 2005 I have no memory but suddenly in 2005 the memory pops into my head.

Fantastic! That makes perfect sense!

I'm new here, by the way! I was searching the Internet for info on Lost and found this thread, which is awesome since I also love Disney! :woohoo:

I have a question...How can Charolette die if Daniel is right there? Couldn't he be her constant?

The current jumping is different from when they needed constants. Charlotte died because, for some reason, the jumping sickness comes on due to how long you have been on the island, according to Daniel. She was on the island the longest, having grown up there before leaving.

Welcome!

Try Lostepedia and the Tail Section--they are 2 of my favorite sites, with completely rabid fans with tons more info and juicy bits than you'll find here...if you want that kind of thing. This is a great thread too!

I've been to Lostepedia many times; it's an awesome source of information. I've not yet been to the Tail Section, though. I'll have to go check that out! Thanks!

I'm going to Disneyland the first week of April (my daughter's band is performing!). I already found the Disneyland board. I cannot believe all the info over there. It's better than the official Disneyland site! :goodvibes

I couldn't remember if that was the only time he saw her or not, too many story lines to keep them all straight. :rotfl:
I came in here to ask the same question about Eloise :thumbsup2

By the way....it seems to me and may have already been talked about on the thread that the ones that left the Island are shown 3 years later....after they left....and what is happening to them at that time....yet back on the Island it is only like 1 or 2 weeks later after they left.....

so why is there such a difference in time...as in years? Seems to me that they are caught in slow motion compared to the ones that got off.

After reading this thread I am more LOST than ever :rotfl2:

Well, we don't know where the last time jump (when Locke 'fixed' the wheel) has placed the 'losties'. They could have moved into the future and the Oceanic 6 may be returing any day now! :lmao:

We'll know more in about 48 hours! :thumbsup2

I bet you I know why the time is different.

We know that the Island will locke (EPIC PUN intended) in the 70's. I bet the window that Eloise will show them will allow them to go back to the island, but it will be back in the 70's as that is its "current" time.

Thus the O6 are traveling back in time only about 3 weeks after they left, but the all timetraveled back to the hipping 70's.

I am loving this!!!

I loved the scene just now with the captain. He looks much younger without the beard! No more looking like Kenny Rogers.

So how did they get Kate to go? Where is Aaron? Why doesn't she want to talk about it?

Why would Sun leave her daughter? :confused3 Possibly forever with no parent?

Why is Ben going back when he told Locke he could never return? Who beat him up?

How did they get Hurley to go back? And Sayid (sp?)....looks like he's iin handcuffs.

What about Desmond? She said the island wasn't done with him.

I'm surprised they are all going back so soon.

I love this show!!!!! :thumbsup2

"I guess we're not going to Guam, are we?" :lmao:

All good questions that may or may not be answered....

JINNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!

The whole thing about what he is wearing isn't that shocking because I have no patience and have been looking at spoilers.

Still, this episode has been awesome. Next week looks even better.

I love how Hurley is Charlie and Sayid is Kate.

Looks like I was wrong about 3 years or some longer period of time not passing on the island.

"I guess we are not going to Guam?":rotfl: :happytv: :rotfl:

Lapidus is amazing. I hope he is a series regular now.

Um, please spill the beans! :listen:

Yes, please tell us!

I'm assuming they're all back in time to when Dharma was active on the island, right?

Esp. when last week Charlotte said a "crazy man" told her not to come back to island or she'll die and the crazy man was Daniel - I figured that meant we'd see Daniel (or all of them) time traveling back to when Dharma was active and Charlotte was little.

So do you think Ben went to kill Penny...and that is why he is all bloody??? When he left Jack at the Church he said he had to tie up a few loose ends for an old friend...and he did promise Widmore that he would find his daughter and kill her.

I still want to know how Hurley and Sayid wound up on the plane...and what Kate is up to. After sleeping with Jack she tells him on the plane something like "we are all on the plane, but we are not together Jack." Hmmmm .....Do you think she gave Aaron to Claire's mom???

Good theory! That would explain why Ben was all wet(possible escape from Penny and Desmond's boat?) and at the marina.

I thought that too. I'm also wondering how Kate was convinced to get on the plane.

The one thing that is driving me crazy is when Eloise Hawkings was explaining how they have to get back to the island, not one of them asked how or even if they can come back home. Or is it just assumed that once they go back to the island, they are there for eternity?

Who was the guy in the airport who said to Jack something like "I'm sorry for your loss" when he was checking in with Locke?

I know I recognize the guy, but I can't remember???:confused3

That guy was Gael García Bernal. He was in a lot of movies including Babel and Motorcycle Diaries. I know I have seen him in more stuff but when looking on IMDB it seems he has made mostly Spanish speaking movies. I'm 99% sure that was who it was...wonder if he is going to be on Lost for a while?

Remember Rodrigo Santoro (Xerxes from "300) played Paulo in 6 episodes a couple years ago. It's kinds weird to see guest stars on Lost but it seems to happen occassionally. ;)
