Sorry DISers

I have taken the LGMH and put my screen name on them, along with the word DIS on them.
One trip I met a fellow Diser at Chef Mickeys. She was very excited to see my LGMH that she told her husband, "I told you there were more people like me!"
Both of our DH's just looked at eachother and rolled their eyes

I had a wonderful conversation with a nice lady from the other coast. It was their first trip to WDW and she was awesome! We chatted for the entire ride from Animal Kingdom to whatever park we went to (Epcot or DHS) I think it was DHS but I can't remember now. It was lovely! I have no idea how or who started the conversation though... I am guessing she did because I where a LGMH in my lanyard with my name on it.

Please do say hi!

Hi I was in the same boat. My family was in line at Beaches and Cream when i saw a fellow disser. It was a man and he had a lime green mickey head with his user name on it . We were standing right behind him and i showed my dd but was to shy to say anything to him. lol of course this was 2 years ago and i wasnt even a registered disser yet but read the boards daily. Yes i was a stalker. (hanging head in shame) I just knew my dh would look at me like I was crazy if I had said something. Next time I will say something no matter what.

Unless I was obviously preoccupied with something I wouldn't mind talking to a DISer...I don't generally have a LGMH on, although I do occasionally have green shirts. I've got a DIS Unplugged shirt, but it shrunk a bit

I see Disers in the parks when we go but I don't say anything to them. Seems ok to do when you are here on the boards but in public it feels weird. So I just point them out to DH who rolls his eyes at me because I won't go over and say hello.

DH already thinks I've gone over the "Disney" edge Wonder what he'll say when I ask him to grab me some lime green mickey heads the next time he goes to home depot? I think it would be fun to have one on my bag and meet other dis'ers.

We don't have a Home Depot up here in nowhereville North Dakota so one of my friends talked her husband into going to get me some at their Home Depot!!! I can't wait to sport mine 9 March thru 14 March!!!

Lime Green Mickey Head

Lime Green sorta became the "color" of the DISboards. A common way to get an LGMH is to go to Home Depot and look at the Disney paint samplers for "Alien Green". Then take that and make a sort of charm out of it.

I would love someone to say hi to me in Disney. I never saw anyone wearing LGMH but I saw 5 of them in one of the rooms window at CBR this Setember. I knocked, nobody was there

This thread is cracking me up! The whole point of LGMH's is to show you're a fellow DISer, but then no one says anything when they see one. I like the idea of putting your screen name on it. I'm going to have to fancy ours up a bit before we go next. I'm HarborBlvd and I'd love it if you said hi!

My husband, of all people, pointed out a guy with a LGMH on his backpack at Test Track last fall, and said, "Hey, there's a DISer, you ought to go say hi!". So I went up to him and tapped him on his shoulder, and pointed to my LGMH and said "I'm a DISer too!". He didn't have the slightest idea what I was talking about, but said I was the second person that came up to him that day....said he'd have to look up the disboards when he got home. Wonder if he's a DISer now?

I did meet a fellow DISer in the elevator at the Boardwalk Inn though, who was really nice.

I can't wait to wear my LGMH when we go the first week of May! I'm hoping that people who see me will say hi as I plan on saying hi to anyone that I see with one. At least I know that I will meet some of my fellow DISers, as we have a DIS meet planned on the 7th. It will be my first one and I'm really looking forward to meeting others!

I'm thinking about making my LGMH double-sided before I laminate it. And now that I hear other people are doing it, I also think I'll add my user name Anyone happen to have any pics of how they made their LGMH look?
