There must have been lots of you at WDW for the first 2 weeks of October last year. I wore my LGMH proudly for 2 weeks and only one person came to say hello (ironically met through conversation when I didn't have it on).

I wore it because I was open to people coming to say hi. No need to engage in a long conversation or spend the rest of the day with us I think it really is an invitation to come and say hello. If I didnt' want to be bothered I wouldn't have had it on.

So if you do see one and you want to say hello, just go up to the person and say "Hi, I noticed your LGMH. Are you a DISer? I just wanted to say hello"

Chances are you will be given a very warm reception.

Personally, I would be happy to meet you. We're going next month and will be sporting a green Mickey on our backpack. If I didn't want you to say hello I wouldn't display the Mickey head...jmho!

Great topic. I've wondered - would I say anything? Should I get myself a LGMH? I feel like a newbie so maybe I'm not "enough" of a DISer yet?

Just wondering if the LGMH have room to collect autographs from any DISers you might run into. It would give you a reason to approach each other, trade siggies (screen name) and then, when you get home you would remember which DISer(s) you ran into so you could compare notes.

It is possible most people don't say anything because they don't notice. I have never noticed a LGMH and I have always wanted to chat with someone who has one. I guess I am too busy looking at everything else Disney has to offer.

I plan on bringing my LGMH in April - If I can remember this time.

I know what you mean, I have not seen one lime green Mickey yet, but I am not sure if I did see one, what I would do. But, I guess I would just say, are you a Diser?..me too!! Hopefully I will meet up with a fellow Diser eventually!! We all share the same Disney passion that most others don't quite understand!

We'll be there from the 19th to the 26th! Our 2 girls will have laminated LGMH's around their necks (with our cell numbers on them) and I'll have one tied to my leaf green baggalini!

Oh man, during the 1/2 marathon and Marathon, there were so many WISH-ers that every 1/2 mile I found my self screaming "I LOVE YOU DIS BOARDS!!!!!!!!"

I was in Epcot in September and walked past someone with a LGMH on their bag. I just sort of yelled "YAY DISboards!" My husband was like "What?" and I don't even know if they heard me. But I felt like I at least gave a shoutout.

I agree! Actually, I might recognize you. I have read your blog and might recognize your Mickey tatoo. I notice details and remember faces very well. I am a teacher, so I see lots of faces. I have always said I would be a great crime scene witness.

My son and I arrive at WDW tomorrow morning to celebrate his 16th birthday! We are staying until Monday. If I see you, I will say hello.

Easiest place is the paint department at Home Depot. that have the lime Green Mickey Head paint swatches. A little laminating and customizeing and you have a great one to use.

Or possibly an even easier solution would be to do a image search on Google and print it off and laminate it.
