Okay I don't want to hear any of you complaining about your homeowners insurance any more. Our's is $138/month! Our property taxes are $1680 for the year.
Janet - Glad you had a great turkey day. We had very little in the left over department.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving with mom & dad then we are finally done. It has been so nice and relaxing yesterday & today I am wishing we didn't have to go. On the bright side I am getting rid of half the crap my mom has stored in my oldest dd's old bedroom (mom's Christmas decorations). She sold her big house 3 years ago and has had one room in my house full of stuff ever since. She is going to decorate at dad's this year. Maybe it will all be gone in a few months!
Talk to you all later!

he's a trooper

(& I live in a 'cheap' county...in the burbs
)
Especially if you live in the "hurricane prone" coastal areas, those insurance companies tend to 'stick it to ya'
And any other smilies that apply! Out homestead exemption is a whopping $1000 off the value of the home. Woo Hoo!
