It's a little chilly this morning and we have no plans to go anywhere, so I'm just sitting here in sweat pants and a sweat shirt. The pants are Mickey Mouse. The shirt is Universal.

Is that wrong? :confused3

KFed.....Wow...we are really an interesting bunch, huh? :rotfl2: Seriously tho...glad to hear ya didn't fall down the pot! :lmao: Hope practice goes well.

Rose...glad to hear things worked out well with the dog situation....I agree w/ Tricia...seems
'she' rules the roost....

I'm not leaving the house, so I have NO underwear on.

Don't people understand that they are not your only appointment of the day? I hate when I'm kept waiting. Seriously. :headache:

Katie - I was wondering what happened to you. Can't believe you fell asleep!:lmao:

Rose - I am so glad you got to have a good time regardless of why the dog was put up.

Barb - I hate it when people are so inconsiderate, now not only are you going to be running behind all day but so is everyone else that had an appointment.

Tricia - OUCH! I know how expensive all that crap is. Sure makes it hard to make money. :headache:

I don't think there is anything wrong with Mickey pants & a Uni shirt, but no undies? JK.

DM - Lafayette is just outside of Denver. It really is a beautiful place, although we have only been there to visit him once.

Jennifer - Sounds like a great morning. And being half finished now makes it even better.

Have a great day everyone!

My house was broken in to. All my PS2 games were stolen, as was my PS2, laptop, and DS games. The cop said that my stuff is probably irreplaceable.

GONE. vdsjif griof dklu9irjtr irj bflk

dang!!
that's horrible...........i'm sick just thinking about your loss.

check the pawn shops in case it was older "kids" just trying to make money.
check ebay also........

and what's this i hear about denver.......

Don't worry DM....when you buy a HOUSE, you haveta have homeowners insurance...... (& it's WAY more expensive than renter's insurance! :headache: ...then again, you are insuring the building AND your property inside.... )
I'm renting a House. There was no damage to the house, so the landlord has nothing to worry about there. Still, bah.

Are you okay with Denver? I have friends in Colorado Springs, but Denver will be even more of a change than the Springs would be. Good luck with whatever/wherever you decide!

I visited Denver earlier this year. And from what I've been told about it--and from what I experienced firsthand, I think I'll like it. A lot.

A lot of my stuff is so common that it may be virtually impossible to find. And there are so many pawnshops, plus I lack serial numbers, so I'm up the Creek w/my hands tied.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Our friends in Ft Lauderdale are suffering this season. They are Miami fans. Season ticket holders to both the Hurricanes and Dolphins. Not a good football year for them. :sad2:

Sorry, Todd. See what happens when you guys don't check in often enough? I get all estrogen-ish and casual with the girly talk.

I am making a turkey & rice casserole for dinner. That's the last of the leftover bird. Thanksgiving is officially over.

popcorn:: hiyall:banana:

away too long to address personally shall do cliffnote version

DM - so very sorry, really stinks...bad karma & a pox on the kids (or crackheads)

elmer - pants aren't optional in our house:rotfl2: it's a no-thong zone too;)

Todd - the prices you quoted made my head spin. I browsed the home listings last trip & almost fainted...@ least a quarter of a million $ for something you could get in Pittsburgh for 80 -100 K:scared1: . Never again will i complain about my homeowners (around $400?). Did you decide if you're heading to Universal next Saturday? let me know:) found out DH will be working until 12:15 am that day, figure he should just stay awake since we'll be leaving around 4 am:laughing: he's a trooper

Dinner was a great success, polished off the leftovers today -usually have to freeze stuff. Everyone was in a great mood & had bunches of fun playing the sports games on the Wii.

Nobody mentioned the color of the walls, either they didn't notice or it was so horrendous they just couldn't bring themselves to comment. They aren't the type to EVER give out any compliments though so who knows? it has grown on me, didn't take a single pic-too busy; nuts...will bore you with it over Xmas

Didn't leave the house until 7 am on black friday, back home @ noon & back out for a bit last night...did it again this am for a few hours. Got 500 thread count sheets today @ Kmart for $35 - hope they're decent:confused3 one for a present, one for us;) . I'm bad, usually buy my own presents from DH - he's not a shopper...otherwise i get nada or $ thrown in a card. I do make him wrap them, so I can manage to look surprised when i see what's under the wrappings lol.

fyi made my 1st purchase online @ buy dot com yesterday (computer speaker system). Aside from getting them @ a fantastic price using google checkout for "1st time users $10 discount":rolleyes1 two-thirds less than Best Buy was selling them...

they were delivered before noon today:eek: :cool1:

tomorrow is leaf blowing/gathering& outdoor decorating day, no steelers game/no excuse:sad2: no turkey, will have to cook - maybe I'll visit the King like mac!

PHILLY 5-3 @ 10-0 NEW ENGLAND SUNDAY NIGHT ANY QUESTIONS

Questions??? :lmao: I have a question....how big of a blow-out will it be?? :rolleyes1

Yup...mine was $691 this year and that's down $100 from last year.

 Uh...wow....ours was just under $300 for the year

So, who watched the parade?
Did I mention I'm back?!!!

Not me, yes you just did, and  welcome back!! :yay:

WOW! I could not pull off dinner for that many and get up and go shopping.... YOU are a trooper! :thumbsup2 Sheets sound like a great deal....if not, take 'em back....

DH bought a Zune from buy dot com. He got the brown one (apparently the only color not selling well, so they discounted it $50 and he got it for $99 :thumbsup2 )...anyhow, he got email notification of when it shipped... a week later, it arrived here. Took a WEEK....from Jonestown, Pa. So, out of curiousity, we HAD to look it up..... Jonestown is like an hour from here...near Harrisburg :headache: :confused3 DH said he coulda 'walked out there and got it faster' :rotfl: Eh, either way, he loves it. Already has stuff on it. Accessories on his Xmas list....

Oh, and Janet...I was informed by DH today that "if he had a 'list' from me, he would have gone shopping today", but I didn't give him a list :confused3 Uh...I'm sorry...I was preparing for Thanksgiving and worrying about shopping for Ryan and everyone else....sorry, didn't give myself a thought...jeez! :rolleyes2 Altho, while out shopping, I have bought myself a couple of things and gave them to him (in the bag) and said, "Here. Ya bought me this for Christmas." :rolleyes1 One year, i was out a few days before Christmas. He had already shopped and wrapped for me. I found a sweater I really liked, so I bought it and brought it home and wrapped it up and stuck the wrapped gift in my pile of gifts he had for me. Well, Christmas morning, I am unwrapping this gift, and he has THE strangest look on his face...it was classic! :lmao: :lmao:

We were out tonight...getting Bubba another hard drive for his computer :guilty: (Xmas gift) and getting him an "early Xmas gift from Mom & Dad"....soccer goalie gloves. He had to try them on for size.... got a pair of Nike brand for $12...I was shocked they were that cheap  (He even bought me an early Xmas gift....know those magnetic ribbons for your car? He got me one with soccer balls on it and it says "Soccer Mom".... I'M soccer MOM!!!!

Well....hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday nite....half way thru the weekend already :sad2:

ask for the sign for Xmas:thumbsup2

:lmao: glad to hear i'm not the only one who buys most of my own presentspopcorn::

other than the computer (which was unexpected; still waiting for final ok-it's still in production:confused3 ); DH & I are downscaling the gifts we exchange...that nasty travel habit:rolleyes1 we have.
