Mornin' all.....anyone miss me???? (by the amount of yakin' yesterday, I'd say "no") You guys were awful quiet yesterday. I 'dreaded' to see how many "pages" i missed, but only about 1? :confused3

Penny....how did your "sale" go??? Hope you made some "donation to vacation" money ;)

Janet.....
thanks again, i'm armed & dangerous now. ;)
:scared: uh-oh

I had no idea they were rehabbing Earthquake, and who are the Entertainment peeps they are handing it over to? No more volunteers? Just actors? Whats it mean? (blonde thing kickin' in)

What IS IT with guys and underwear stains? I have actually asked my husband, "Do you understand the purpose of toilet paper? Do you need a lesson in how to use it?"
His response when I've asked has been, "It's not my fault. I get sweaty when I work."

So, what, the sweat crawls up your butt and then comes back down to leave a stain? How does that work?

Uh...what happened to THE WARNING???? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I actually cried w/ laughter with this one...... :rotfl2:
(seriously, hope it all worked out okay for ya.... Do you have the flushable wetwipes in the bathroom he could use to "check"??)

The changes to HM sound interesting....however, I must admit I've not ridden it enough to remember the changes Todd mentioned. :rolleyes1 So, one day when we return to MK, will make sure we ride it (last time DS was 5) and I look forward to it. We have a couple of pix from the stretch room and queue, so, maybe that will be helpful to compare? Thanks for reportin' the changes in.......btw, you forgot the weather report :rolleyes1  ;)

Off to eat....be back in a jif.....

I'm back! Got home around 12:30 am last night. Very interesting mini-vacay....I will have to fill you in later....

Got alot of work to catch up on, so it will have to wait for now.

Welcome back Katie! Hope you had a fun time in Williamsburg!

Sure, we missed you Barb. So what did you do last night and does anyone need to come bail you out?
Sorry about the no warning thing, but I was in rant mode.

Thanks for the HM review Todd. I haven't been on it in years, so I'm looking forward to seeing the new touches.

Marcie, that shirt is hysterical! If I had one young enough, I'd buy it.

Just here for a quick stop. The race is on and I'm gonna go check the standings. I hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

Just flyin' by to check in before I run to grocery store and get the "evening" routine started.

About last night.....atho, the cops and EMT's arrived, all I will say for right now is, I spent the evening w/ my wonderful husband, and some guys.....like him:

Apologies for the 'rudeness' in the picture (DH's fault we think), but if you really want to know what I did last night, it's very vulgar and 'adult' rated (...and, would probably offend someone here :rolleyes2 )

If you want more details and pix, I can do that tonite when things (& I) are a bit more settled......

Barb, we're all waiting to hear what kind of vulgar and offensive stuff went on last night!

I had to order a new CD/DVD drive for my comp. Dell.com was useless to me, so I went with Bestbuy.com

If you're wondering, I went to put RCT3 in the CD/DVD drive, and as the CD went in, there was a SNAP. The CD snapped into pieces. I spent about an hour trying to fix it. D'oh!

At least I have my laptop for CD/DVD purposes.

eeek - computer gremlins @ it again, since i'm on DHs laptop/Xmas present again (def. have logged in 10X the hours he has:rolleyes1 ) and i'm illiterate & cannot figure out how to paste links...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRACIE:cheer2: :dance3: :yay:
hope your day was swell!

barb -always up for a good read! you bud's saying we're #1 - right?

fyi - the wolves took it on the chin Friday:sad1: ; Steelers kicked butt:banana:

off to finally read last few days of marci's report

Hi all!
Back from the wedding weekend in Galena, IL(3hr drive from me).
Step-neice's wedding went well. My kids stayed at my parent's house over the weekend, so they didn't go to the wedding. It was nice to have alone time with my DH, as we hardly have date nights.

The drive to Galena was somewhat scary on Friday night, as there are no street lights and it was pitch dark for the second half of the drive, and driving thru many hills, as it is hilly and very curvy in the upper northwest end of Illinois. DH did do very well on the driving, as I was freaking out :scared1:
Sat. was real nice. Beautiful view from the restaurant windows of the hills and the Mississippi River.
The wedding reception last night was at the lodge we were staying at. The ceremony was a 45 min drive from the reception. So the bride and groom paid for a bus to transport some of us from the lodge to the little white wedding chapel they were getting married at. The bus ended up being a school bus, not a trolley like we thought  . But that's ok, it worked out well.
The wedding reception at the lodge went fairly well. Wedding dinner was very good and tasty! The music (DJ) was ok. It was very loud of course, during the dancing. The only bad thing I would say, was the choice of songs during the dancing/ party time of the reception. Hardly any slow songs to slow dance to, maybe one slow dance song. The rest of the songs were rap/ hip hop, almost gangster rap songs(to me at least) or heavy metal rock songs. :rockband: That was basically it for song selection :sad2: Ok, the Cha Cha Slide song was really the only one that was decent, as DH and I danced to that one. The bride likes to party with her girlfriends, so I guess her and her groom must have picked these certain drinking party songs for their friends. Lots of college-aged folks drinking on the dance floor :drinking1 :drinking:
Not a good mix of songs for all ages, just catered to the college-age crowd.
One song that was played was kinda vulger to DH, I, and SIL. Alot of b**ch and f*** in the song, and there were little kids on the dance floor dancing to this :scared: :scared1:

Anyways, got to still unpack my stuff, as I am lazy here.

I guess I missed some action that happened with Bubba's mom :confused3
Barb, I'm guessing you either went to a WWE wrestling event last night or went to a strip club? Those are just my guesses :confused3 :scratchin
You had mentioned it was "adult oriented".

Happy Birthday, Tracie!!! :bday: :cake: party:
Hope you had a great birthday!!

Hi to all!

I'll have to catch up with everyone later.

well, the Giants lost to the Packers....

0-2, not a good start....

how'd everyone else do???????

No no...just PART of the spiel is left out. Actually...I don't remember that last time I heard it. It's only the part between the Conservatory and when you enter the Seance Room...everything else is still in place. The part that's missing is:

"All our ghosts have been dying to meet you. This one can hardly contain himself. Unfortunately, they all seem to have trouble getting through. Perhaps Madame Leota can establish contact. She has a remarkable head for materializing the disembodied."

If Disney EVER changes Paul Frees' masterful voice for someone else, there will be a HUGE uprising...lead by yours truly!

Well, that is strange, and one of the best parts.

Oh, and I will be right there with you in the uprising!
