Ha, nope. Not Shamu Stadium. Sadly, that particular stadium hardly ever gets used. I think I remember they used to do a water skiing show there when I was a kid. That's where I watched the ice skating show and fireworks last December.

Ah the Shamu show. So much bad press. You got some great pictures. I do like the old show better though.

Seaworld sure is a pretty park and your photos capture it beautifully.

Water skiing, now that would be a little different to see! I totally agree that Sea World is beautiful. I love walking around and just looking. Thanks.

We did do some rides too, but I didn't take my camera with me, so I can't tell you when. Earlier in the day, we'd done Atlantis, which to me was basically like Splash Mountain but less fun... The drop was nice, and I think I remember an extra drop with a big splash too, but I can't be sure. Jeepers I need to take better notes!

There were some adorable little kids who were just so excited every time a dolphin swam by. I made a little video, but I stood beside them just so I could hear them without seeing them. They were so cute!

We enjoyed our day at SW. And holy moly, I want to go back to Florida where it's nice and warm. It's -23 with the wind chill today. I am not going back in 2015 though. I am going to walk the Camino de Santiago, but at least I'll be warm! I will be walking about 900 km in Spain, starting in France.

Very true. I try really hard not to be glued to mine. If I download a game (Frozen Freefall) and I get addicted to it, and spend too long with it, I end up deleting it. Poor Frozen Freefall has been downloaded and deleted about a dozen times.

Nope. P was done, and she didn't do well with the shows. She wanted thrills and that was about it. Oh well, I will get back another time. I have a feeling my 2016 trip will be huge to make up for skipping 2015!!!

I was up earlier than the others. I couldn't sleep because we were going to UNIVERSAL. You know, I probably wouldn't really feel the need to go to Universal all that much as I'm such a huge Disney fan, but Universal has something that Disney does not. Harry Potter!!! I am just as big a Harry Potter fan as I am a Disney fan. I don't know how many times I've read the books or seen the movies, but after the first 4 books, I would reread the series before the next book or movie came out, and I've done various HP movie marathons before the next one came out too. I have read the series (not all because I don't own all the books YET) in French, and I've watched the movies in French too.

I woke up and tried to sleep for a bit, but couldn't fall back to sleep, so eventually I got up and went out with my camera. I was antsy and otherwise I would have woken up the others to get them moving. It was before 6 when I got up, because I was outside taking pictures at 6:10!

I've been off work and haven't had time on the Dis so I am just getting caught up. Love your updates! I love that you mentioned Sea World as it's one of my favorite places and I don't see it reviewed much on here, even in the Sea World thread. When we were there in March they were still working on Shamu Stadium, so we didn't get to see the Shamu show. That was ok though, because we saw it last trip. We did get to see the underwater viewing and they were doing a special up close with the whales that was really neat. It was in the back part of the stadium and they had the whales swim around and do some flips and then come up really close to the edge. It was pretty neat. I loved the quotes around there, too. We took a lot of the same pictures. Too bad you couldn't feed the dolphins. That was one of my favorite things to do. They are so funny because if you have fish in your hand, they want to be right in front of you. As soon as you are out of fish, they are out of there. LOL!

Back at Disney, I hadn't seen the Prince penny before either, so I made sure to get that one at POR. I also got the Grumpy one from the other machine you took the picture of.

We have a lot of similar POR pictures, too.

Can't wait to hear about your time at Universal and seeing the Harry Potter attractions.

Welcome back! I tend to put everything into my TR, even not Disney things. I will be going to the Sea World section and posting ALL my SW pictures (at least all the keepers) there. I like to do that for the people actually researching SW.

Too funny about feeding the dolphins! I thought they were supposed to be really social, I hope they don't feed them less so they only go to people when they have fish!

Love that you like taking pictures of the same things, and then I love seeing and taking pictures that are unique too.

I wanted to go straight to Harry Potter, but I had to compromise. I knew that the Despicable Me and the Transformers rides had really long waits too. So we went to Despicable Me first. The park must have opened at 8am because we got in line at around 8:35.

We must have waited until about 9:05 because my last picture before being outside again was at around 9:01 and I wanted to put my things away first. Q waited with us and then took the chicken exit. Possibly with my camera bag, I can't remember. I thought it was really cute. I liked it, the effects were great and I felt like I was really sliding around.

P really wanted a minion teddy bear, but she was told she'd have to wait until we left the park. Q really wanted something with Dobby on it because she loved Dobby and she nearly killed me when he died, because I hadn't told her. I always thought he had a bigger roll in the movies and kept telling her he'd be back again. (He seemed to be in the books more than the movies.) She didn't want K to find a minion and then find something else she wanted more.

Years ago, I saw a sneaker on a garbage can... in Magic Kingdom!!!

Me too! I think I like them even more because there are not many in PEI, I think there is a law opposing them or something.

It was cute, but the wait was not. My least favorite part of any ride is waiting, but at least they are smart and they have things to look at during some of those waits.

Again, Q waited with the bags while the rest of us got grossed out by beetles and such. It's too bad because Q loves the Mummy movies.

I love how many rides have single rider here. I wish WDW had more. DL has a few more. You usually ask a CM and get a single rider card, then walk through the exit. Others have an actual single rider entrance, like the Matterhorn.

Next up, FOOD, that we had to pay for! Hahahaha. We were used to the all you can eat from Sea World and Busch.

I had had a really good pizza here in 2010, so I was hoping for the same. We ate at the same restaurant.

It was so funny. I don't remember much of the conversation, I just remember the CM and laughing and laughing. She was picking on Q (or was she picking on me? I can't remember! I need to learn to take better notes) but we laughed and laughed and laughed. In fact I think we even laughed later in the trip about it.

Q adores Beetlejuice and always has. Big time. It's almost as high up on her favorite movies as Terminator and Die Hard. Seriously, you think of her when you think of those movies. LOL So we were forcing P to watch the Beetlejuice show. I was excited because I hadn't seen it last time.

I took that picture at 11:37 and the show was scheduled to start at 11:45, so we ran in to grab a seat. We were confused because on the guide it said the show was at 12.

I took 500 pictures in there, but I deleted a few. Q even told me to take as many pictures as possible. You could hear her laughing through the whole show. She loved it. I really enjoyed it too, but it bugged me that they kept cutting the songs short.

We had to put our cameras away, but it was kind of fun to do. Not sure I'll do it every time, but still.

Next we ran off to find London! I was so excited!!! I just couldn't wait. I was worried because P already sat through Beetlejuice, and I don't think she enjoyed Disaster a whole lot. Parts of it she did though. I wasn't sure how long she'd last in the Harry Potter area, with me wanting to take in every nook and cranny and take as many pictures as I could.
